Last week, fifteen of the best of the past year came to play the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions... Six of them left broken and humiliated, but with $5000 and the keys to a small but growing fraternity. Six of the final nine have fallen, leaving only the final three. Now in a first-of-its-kind rematch of game 5, video game tester Stefan Goodreau, chemical engineer Vijay Balse, and engine assembler Jason Zollinger will compete for a quarter of a million dollars. Second place gets $100,000. Third gets $50,000.
