Sarda/Block/Cooper - Part 1 The last three games were some of the most momentous in Jeopardy! history, as nine teenagers competed for three spots in this week's grand final. Some rose to the top like Barrett Block and Nilai Sarda. Others... they fell short, opening the way for the rare semifinal wild card in Leonard Cooper. All three have one thing in common. They all believe that they are 48 hours away from winning $75,000. Only one will take that honor. Second place gets $25,000. Third gets $15,000. All tournament participants will receive the all new edition of Classroom Jeopardy! for their schools. All money will be determined, as always, by how far the players go in the tournament. Part one of out two-part final total point affair. After last night's historic loss, Barrett Block is STILL in the wings. Winner of this game gets him and a semifinal wild card challenger...

Daily Double: $1000 College Recommendations. Nilai has $4200, $1000 off the lead enjoyed by Leonard. He just bets $1000 on this: be impressed that the $1 million given in 1873 to endow this university was the commodore's only major philanthropy. "What is Vanderbilt?" Correct for $5200 to tie! Daily Double #1: $800 Discoverers & Inventors. Barrett is up to $2000, and he's going to bump it on this: in 1783, Antoine Lavoisier named this element, from Greek words for "water former". "What is hydrogen?" FOR THE DOUBLER, $4000! Daily Double #2: $1200 Biblical Quotes. Barrett is in the middle, trailing Nilai by $4400 and leading Leonard by $2800. What will he do with his $10,400? He bets $2000 on this: Matthew 6 says, "Consider" these flowers "of the field, how they grow". "What are roses?" No, the lilies of the field drop him to $8400. At the end of the round...
