In the world's ultimate talent search - where the eyes of a nation are upon the best undiscovered singers in the country, where the audience has the power to make or break you, and where a million-dollar recording contract is on the line, there is only one rule: If you can sing it, bring it.

Round of 20: The Results
March 4

Gordon: This is Gordon Pepper. If you are just joining us...good. Don't go back to last week and see what we predicted.
Chico: Yeah, it was.
Jason: Yeah...that was...well...
Gordon: So now with last week's ugliness behind us, we move on to this week. Joining us are Chico Alexander, Jason Block and Don Harpwood
Jason: Hi!
Don: Yo
Gordon: And as we're still in the pre-season, let's re-hone our skills with...

Gordon: So who's your 4 out?
Jason: John Park, Jermaine Sellers, Haeley Vaughn, Paige Miles
Don: John, Todrick, Lacey, and Haeley.
Chico: I got John Park, Jermaine Sellers, Lacey & Haeley
Gordon: I'll say John, Tim, Paige and Lacey
Gordon: So we all think John and Lacey, which means based on our record, that they are probably safe.
Chico: Gah. And from Television City in Hollywood... it's SHOWTIME!
Gordon: We get the NCAA-Style opening montage, and then we get the intro. We have over 27 million votes this week.
Chico: Over 27 million votes later... we get... Danny Gokey. (His CD dropped Tuesday)
Gordon: Simon says that he gave praise to someone who sounded awful at home. Oops. I've got a feeling we're going to be listening to a lip synced version of 'I Gotta Feeling'.
Jason: And we see the first live...lip-synced performance of the evening
Gordon: The lip syncing is brutal tonight.
Chico: Not only are they lip-synching... they're being autotuned. And no "L'chaim" lyric.... What the hell.
Jason: These kids can't lip sync for crap.
Don: Eh, I've heard worse. I've also heard better as well.
Gordon: Why don't we just show a Ford Video of them instead?
Chico: Now now... not until the top 12.
Jason: I have no idea
Gordon: They should make it now and spare us from the torture of listening to this.
Gordon: Or watching it.
Don: That doesn't sound too bad of an idea. The visuals would probably be better, at least.
Gordon: Let's start with the guys. Tim Urban got higher with "Come On Get Higher"
Chico: ... he gets to get lower. He's SAFE. Todrick Hall asked "What's Love Got To Do With It"?
Gordon: Todrick is asked to stay standing.
Chico: Michael Lynche said "It's a Man Man Man's World".
Gordon: Michael gets to sit down
Chico: And Big Mike is SAFE.
Gordon: Casey gets to hang out with the cougar
Chico: John Park's "Gravity" gets him in trouble. The first person going home tonight is...JOHN PARK.
Gordon: Aaaand everyone finally gets on the board.
Jason: I got one LOL
Don: Not surprised at all that John is leaving.
Jason: And we see why he left
Chico: Because he's giving us a reprise.
Gordon: He actually sounded better this time.
Jason: A little bit better.
Gordon: Until that last note
Chico: We have another case of "If you sung like that the first time, you wouldn't be in trouble."
Gordon: So that leaves us Andy, Alex, Jermaine, Lee and Aaron.
Chico: And a partridge in a pear tree.
Jason: I still say Jermaine. He argued with the judges and had a bad performance.
Chico: I think it's going to be Jermaine.
Don: Of those five, I'm thinking Jermaine.
Gordon: We're all in agreement on Jermaine.
Chico: More results. Lee Dewyze sang with the "Lips of an Angel"
Gordon: Lee is...safe.
Chico: Aaron Kelly sang "My Girl".
Gordon: Aaron is safe. Alex is...also safe
Chico: Jermaine and Andrew are left.
Gordon: If Andrew leaves, that would be a huge shock, no?
Chico: That would be a shock, because again, he's a favorite to win.
Jason: yes.
Chico: But after last night...I don't know. Andrew Garcia had something with "You Give Me Something".
Gordon: Safe is....Andrew Garcia.
Jason: Got. Them. Both. (pumps fist)
Gordon: Jermaine doesn't think his mouth gets into trouble.
Chico: ... We beg to differ.
Gordon: America doesn't like vocal contestants. Jermaine leaves happy and appreciated and tells everyone to get a onesie.
Chico: He sings "What's Going On" one more time. Again... Simple song, sung simply.
Gordon: The problem is that he made it complicated
Jason: Shut up with your voice to the Lord shtick. You argued with the judges and your performance sucked.
Chico: Amen to that.
Don: Overall, it would be, but after what I heard on Tuesday, it seems possible.
Jason: And we see why he left too
Gordon: Let's put the stress on hold and get to Danny Gokey.
Chico: The song is called "My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me"
Jason: I like this gospel tinged Country Rock
Don: Not bad.
Chico: Doesn't sound that bad.
Gordon: It's generic, but not bad sounding generic. And...it's LIVE!
Chico: BTW, Sienna Miller called. She wants her Baroness glasses back.
Don: I liked it.
Chico: Danny wants to come on Ellen's show and dance :-)
Gordon: Danny says that Randy Travis told him to go country, and he did.
Chico: That's the dream right there.
Jason: That was FUN.
Gordon: Time to get rid of some girls
Chico: Starting with the back row. "A Change Is Gonna Come" for Lilly Scott... but not today. She's SAFE. Paige Miles could "Walk Away" after tonight...
Gordon: But she won't.
Chico: Katie Stevens "Put Your Records On"...safe. That leaves us with 2. Didi Benami went with "Lean On Me". Michelle Delamor had "Arms Wide Open".
Chico: I'm going to go with Didi on this one. G?
Gordon: I'll say Michelle and the upset
Chico: Returning next week... Didi. Upset special to go!
Jason: Not surprised. She was bland and just there.
Gordon: You can't be bland and ordinary here.
Gordon: Terrible choice of song for Michelle. and as we see the reprise, we remember just how bad.
Jason: Ooooh those notes....
Chico: Yup.
Gordon: Part of this show is creating a musical identity. If you just sing songs and not to create that identity, then you're not getting a fan base and you're just a singer.
Chico: True.
Gordon: That's what killed Michelle.
Jason: Exactly.
Gordon: If she went R&B again, she would have been the Diva and very safe. And for a while, we've been getting singers just singing. They haven't been establishing themselves apart from everyone else. Lilly and Crystal have.
Chico: More results, I say...Starting with Katelyn Epperly and "The Scientist"... She's back in the race. Crystal Bowersox saw the light with "As Long As I Can See The Light".... and stay healthy, because you're SAFE. Siobhan Magnus made us "Think"...and I think she's safe.
Gordon: I do too
Chico: That leaves Lacey and Haeley.
Gordon: So who's out?
Chico: Lacey. I think Haeley being "the black Miley Cyrus" as Q put it will save her.
Don: I'll say Lacey.
Jason: My heart says Haeley...my head says Haeley as well.
Chico: Leaving us tonight is...HAELEY.
Gordon: Not a surprise. And once again, I wonder if they aren't experienced, why the judges put them on the stage.
Don: Honestly, I'm not surprised that Haeley is gone, especially after hearing this right now.
Chico: And before Haeley can sing, Debbie Healy wants the "Leave Right Now" footage. Once again, leaving tonight: John Park, Jermaine Sellers, Michelle Delamor, and Haeley Vaughn.
Jason: Ouch.
Gordon: Yeah. ,this isn't too good. Final thoughts?
Chico: America got it right. The girls need to step it up. Starting next week... it counts.
Don: This week was an improvement from last week, but from a number of those still in it, I'm still expecting better.
Jason: The top 16 HAVE to step up their game. If they don't they won't be there next week.
Gordon: So that's it for this week, for GSNN this is Gordon Pepper, saying Game over, Spread the love, and support your local artist.
