Eviction Night 2:
Da'Vonne vs. Meg
July 9 |
Last week, Shelli and Becky
were named HOHs, but both had different plans on who to
target for eviction. Thanks to an underwhelming
performance in the BOB, Shelli was put in the HOH
position by herself. Thanks to a stellar performance in
the POV, Johnny Mac took himself off the block. Thanks
to Austin, Meg was put up to protect Liz from being a
pawn. And thanks to this week's BB TAKEOVER, a phone
call could be the difference between safety and a seat
next to Julie in the Radford studio tonight.
It is night 22 in the House, and after Big Brother lifts
a lockout...
"GET READY FOR A TAKEOVER!!!!!!"
It's Kathy Griffin on the viewscreen with details on her
Takeover.
ROUND 2 #BBTAKEOVER: The
Last Laugh
Big Brother has placed a phone booth (British, but NOT
the TARDIS) in the living room. Kathy will call everyone
in the house, but whoever answers the 7th phone call
(unbeknownst to the hamsters) will win the power of the
Last Laugh, being able to force three people to sit out
the Live Vote. That person was ALMOST Clay, but he
picked up only the 6th phone call. Next...
To Da'Vonne... "Here's a tip... Start thinking about
Eviction Night, because you've just won the Power of the
Last Laugh!" And what does Da'Vonne do about this twist?
Keep it to herself, save for her only friend Jason. Is
it a wise decision? We'll see.
Meanwhile, in another season-long arc, we have Liz
playing the game along with Julia, her identical twin
sister. If she survives the fifth Eviction without being
voted out, Julia gets to enter the house and play on her
own. Here's the thing, though, and Da'Vonne was the
first to pick up on it. Julia has a banging bikini body.
I mean. Seriously. Good God Almighty. Someone stop the
damn match. But when she doesn't show that much body,
people can tell that she has a bit of a poochy on her.
So one day... banging body. Another day... working out
in the backyard. Or, as Jason puts it so eloquently once
everyone in the house picks up on it...... "She's just
trying to survive until her sister Fat Beth comes in."
Julia. Her name is Julia. Seriously, dude. Show some
respect.
So how is Da'Vonne going to use this to her advantage?
The easy answer: tell "Liz" and convince her to keep her
in. How is THAT supposed to work?
ROUND 2 #LiveEviction:
First, Da'Vonne exercises her power of the Last Laugh to
banish BECKY, JEFF, and JACKIE to the Dining Room while
the rest of the house votes.
As a reminder, in addition to the three banished by the
Last Laugh, neither Da'Vonne nor Meg are allowed to
vote. Neither is Shelli, the HOH. With nine votes to
count, the vote to evict is 5.
Jason: MEG
Clay: DA'VONNE
John: DA'VONNE
Audrey: MEG
Austin: DA'VONNE
Liz/Julia: DA'VONNE
Vanessa: DA'VONNE (Lock)
James: DA'VONNE
Steve: DA'VONNE
By a vote of 7-2, DA'VONNE IS EVICTED. She has a few
moments to say her goodbyes, but she only needs a few
seconds. Bye, Felicia!
"GET READY FOR A TAKEOVER!!!!!"
ROUND 3 #BBTAKEOVER:
Gronk's Party Week
Here with the THIRD BB Takeover is Super Bowl Champion,
one of the liveliest TEs in the game today, Mr. Party
himself, ROB GRONKOWSKI. In his twist, there will be NO
Have-Nots this week. However, you will definitely want
to win this week, which starts with...
ROUND 3 #HOH: Gronk Pong
Each Houseguest will launch one ball at a triangle of
oversized Solo cups, each with a point value inside,
1-55. The blue cups have the highest point total. The
two with the highest scores will be the HOH.
