Please Lord, Give Me Milk

Last time, we ended up in Holland, where the Hsus clashed, furniture was hoisted, and poles were vaulted. Kate & Pat, though, were the last to come in after ALL of that and were eliminated.

PIT STOP: Durgedam; Amsterdam, the Netherlands

First a note. Due to physical exertion during the bakfiet task, Ron developed a hernia and required medical attention. After 12 hours of whatever, Lorena & Jason are the first to shove off at 4:19a local time.

Fly to Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Take a taxi to the city's train station, where you will find the next clue. You have $100 for this leg of the Race.

Lorena & Jason have their issues, but it's nothing that they can't overcome, right? After that, the Cheaters, the Blondes, and the Dating Goths are on their way... and we have a four-racer pileup at the airport.

Azaria & Hendekea are on their way as the others determine that (and this wasn't given in the clue) Ouagadougou is in Burkina Faso.

While Marianna/Julia & Nicolas/Donald continue to butcher the pronunciation of "Ouagadougou", they decide to book their flights over the cab's cell phone. Call it a Mobile Shoutout, if you will.

Flights to Ouagadougou leave at 7:20 and 8:00, unfortunately the flight at 7:20 is full.

Ronald admits that as a father, he was not at his finest. No.... Really?

So it looks like the earliest possible flight to Burkina Faso leaves at 8 and arrives at 4:30, unless you're Nathan & Jennifer, and you're out of here at 7:20...

Nathan & Jennifer

Nicholas & Donald
TK & Rachel
Kynt & Vyxsin

Lorena & Jason
Marianna & Julia

... AND....

Ronald & Christina

Nathan & Jennifer are first to arrive in the city of light.

The second flight to Paris has been delayed, putting Nathan & Jennifer way out in front.

The six teams on the second flight finally arrive, and it's a race to see who can get to a bus headed for the flight out to Africa. And look who arrives, Nathan & Jennifer... everyone else! All of our teams are finally on their way to...

... And Marianna & Julia are first out the gate. Shana & Jennifer catch a cab, but don't get their change back. Nathan & Jennifer are the first to the station, and thus, the first to find THIS...

Take a train to Bingo. The train will let you off in the middle of nowhere.

Shana & Jennifer thought that the fare was 3000 francs. Turns out it was 4000, and they only get 1000 back. (C-Note to future Racers: in order to prevent wasting time by fighting with the locals... the locals always win).

And at the station, the ticket offices close for the day, leaving all of the teams on the same train leaving TOMORROW. Meanwhile, it's a night of dancing. Pay attention, this is relevant.

The next morning, it's off to Bingo. You'll notice that it's full of flies. Shana & Jennifer say they couldn't live this way, with all the dirt and the smells. Azaria & Hendekea and TK & Rachel are more than at home, though.

Now you have to find a clue in the middle of nowhere. TK & Rachel are the first to spot...

Team members must milk a camel up to a line in a bowl. Then they have to drink the bowl of milk before receiving their next camel. If your camel runs dry, you must wait until all other teams have completed the Road Block before milking one of the pack's camels.

Be mindful that camels are sensitive to fast movements and loud noises.

So it's time to milk now. Lorena gets knocked around. Nate gets the kick, as well, but his milk gets spilled. TK, though, stays calm and gets the milk he needs it. TK's the first to take a drink. "It's a little grainy, sweet, and warm."

The Tuareg nomads will gather four camels. Lead the four camels along a path to your next clue.

Julia's milk gets knocked out, while Christina finally a) does her best Eek! the Cat impersonation, and b) loads up on the finest in camel's milk.

On the beaten path, Nic/Donald & TK/Rachel determine that they've gone the wrong way. This raises the ire of Christina, who spent the latter part of the camel trail following them.

Back at the posts, Julia & Azaria are out of milk. So is Blonde Jennifer. So it's a camel switch-off. Azaria & Hendekea are first to finish with their new camel. Meanwhile, TK & Rachel are first to...

TEACH IT: Participate in the education of a local child by teaching them 10 words in English.

LEARN IT: Delve into the local culture by learning 10 words in the African language of More.

"School? Education?"

At least Misha knows where the school is. Azaria & Hendekea decide to approach it thematically, five and five.

TK/Rachel, Nic/Donald, and Ron/Christina, on the other hand, decide to teach.

Azaria & Hendekea know their More...

Proceed on foot along the marked path to the outskirts of Bingo, the PIT STOP for this leg of the race.

WARNING! The last team to check in MAY be eliminated!

PIT STOP: Outskirts of Bingo, Burkina Faso

And just as they're getting started, here comes a monsoonal windstorm. And in the middle of it, Phil with an umbrella. We could use that right now.

"Azaria & Hendekea... You are team number one!" For their efforts, they get a five-night trip to Bermuda. But is the target on their backs bigger?

Back with the camels, Julia finally gets her milk on... and in... Lorena, though, keeps getting knocked deeper and deeper into Philimination territory. They finally get a hold of Julia's camel, which just had a baby. So we finally complete the task.

And a special welcome to all of those who are tuning into Cold Case. Ron/Christina & TK/Rachel finally learn their kid a thing or two about the Queen's English, while Kynt & Vyxsin show off their mad More skills.

So now EVERYONE's running toward the mat... and we have a collision...with the host. Rule #1 of game show interaction: don't collide with the host. At the end, TK/Rachel are #2, Nate/Jen are #3, and Kynt/Vyxsin are #4. And right behind them, Ron/Christina and Nic/Donald.

Lorena & Jason start RUNNING with their camels, but it means nothing if they don't know More or if their little kid can't speak a lick of English. But let's concentrate on beating Marianna & Julia first. Doesn't happen.

Shana & Jennifer are team #7.

Lorena & Jason finally overtake Marianna & Julia, and they opt to learn the language of the locals. So do Marianna & Julia. Who'll be the first to emerge from the Learn More in 10 Easy Steps class?

It's Lorena & Jason! And not too far behind, Marianna & Julia.

Who'll be the first on Phil's crash mat?

It's Lorena & Jason! Still in it. Unfortunately, that means for Marianna & Julia, it's back to Miami. They are the last team to arrive... and are eliminated from going any further in the Race.

After Leg 3: The Netherlands - Burkina Faso
1) Azaria/Hendekea - trip to Canada, trip to Bermuda
2) TK/Rachel
3) Nathan/Jennifer
4) Kynt/Vyxsin
5) Ronald/Christina

8) Lorena/Jason - sport bikes
ELIMIMATED) Marianna/Julia
