"If You Can Dodge
Keeping It Real, You Can Dodge a Ball" - July 19
Tuesday night, around the
same time you see Rock Star: INXS and Extreme Dodgeball
III, you might have spend some time in MTV's The 70's
House.
The remaining occupants of the house are finding the
70's lifestyle to get more and more harder. And to make
things interesting, a new neighbor visits by the name of
Randy. Some of the players are finding him a little
annoying.
After the players meet Randy, they get a mission
briefing from Oscar. They'll be competing in a dodgeball
challenge, unfortunately it won't be in the same caliber
as the 3rd season of GSN's "Extreme Dodgeball". Oscar
selects Ruben and Ashley to be the team captains. They
alternate turns picking players to be their teammates.
Ruben chooses Andrew, Jami, Corey, and Linda while
Ashley chooses Joey, Pete, Sarah, and Hailey.
The players get into their vehicles including Randy's
car and drive to a schoolyard. Over there, the players
are once again feeling the embarassment coming from the
laughter of some of the students at the schoolyard. It's
because they're wearing their 70's-style athletic
clothing. To add a twist each of the teams will face off
against the male compeditors from the WWE. The team that
stays with them in the court the longest wins.
Ruben's team goes first and Corey gets eliminated first
followed by Jami, Andrew, Ruben, and Linda. Ashley's
team plays next with Pete eliminated first, followed by
Ashley, Sarah, Joey and Hailley. The WWE team has always
proved they always kicked some major booty, but as
always the competition is about who's the most 70's.
Back at the house Oscar reveals the recorded times.
Ruben's team stayed on for one minute and 57 seconds
while Ashley's team stayed on for only 58 seconds.
Ruben's team wins and they'll be treated to some
entertainment while the Ashley's team is on the chopping
block. Oscar first puts up Pete for elimination because
of his comment about "keeping it real". Oscar also puts
up Sarah for elimination because she gave the least
amount of "foxy" and "outta sight". And apparently Randy
the new neighbor is also the informant.
While Pete and Sarah are taken to the next elimination
challenge, while Ruben's team are being entertained by
Mimes. Okay, let's back to the elimination challenge
called "Liars Lounge". And once again "Bert Van Styles"
hosts. The players will be shown guests, and they have
60 seconds to ask questions to help them determine if
they're telling the truth or not.
1st Guest: "The Unknown Comic"
Sarah: Lie
Paul: Lie
The first guest really is "The Unknown Comic" so nobody
scores.
2nd Guest: Figure Skater, Dorothy Hamill
Sarah: Lie
Paul: Lie
The second guest is not really Dorthy Hamill and once
again, nobody scores.
3rd Guest: Christopher Atkins, from the movie "Blue
Lagoon".
Sarah: Truth
Paul: Truth
The third guest really is Christopher Atkins, from the
movie "Blue Lagoon." Both players are tied a one a
piece.
4th Guest: The Captain from Captain & Tenille
Sarah: Lie
Paul: Truth
Sarah is correct, the fourth guest is not really The
Captain from Captain & Tenille. Sarah leads two points
to one over Pete.
5th Guest: Voice of Scooby-Doo
Sarah: Lie
Paul: Lie
They're both correct, the fifth guest really is not the
voice of Scooby-Doo. And Sarah wins the challenge three
to two over Paul.
The players reunite back at the house, but for not much
longer as Paul changes back to his modern clothes and
goes back to the present. We'll be back to the 70's
again next week, don't miss it. |
