The Married Couple - May 31

Last time, Kerryann Shirdon won $50,000, and Earl Belt won $25,000. But the gutsy player of the night was Steve Nalepa, who went for the million... and lost.

Next in the game is a 43-year-old music equipment salesman from Horace Mann Elementary in Philadelphia, MICHAEL WARREN.  We see a pic of him. Donny Osmond called. He wants his hair back. He's a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen.

Round 1 begins with Jacob. Here's the first...

1st Grade Social Studies $1,000 PEEK COPY SAVE
Irving Berlin wrote what patriotic anthem that contains the words "Stand beside her and guide her"?

Michael quotes the rest of the song... and then says "My Country, 'tis of Thee."

With Michael is his wife Kelly. She doesn't think he's right. He isn't. It's "God Bless America". The only way he can win now is if Jacob wrote "God Bless America."

Jacob wrote... "America the Beautiful." Game over. Michael flunks out with nothing.

But before he leaves... Jeff invites Kelly to play the game! Is KELLY WARREN smarter than a 5th grader? Let's find out!

Kelly grew up in Chicago, and is a psychologist. Kelly picks Kyle to start the game off.

TRUE OR FALSE? Every adult rhinoceros has exactly one horn.

Kelly knows NOTHING about rhinoceroses. She wants to PEEK at Marki's paper. She says TRUE. If you wanted to guarantee your stay, you go with her opposite answer.

She goes with FALSE. We already know that she's staying. ... and she keeps her save. Correct answer: FALSE!

Going for $10,000 now...

3rd Grade US Geography $10,000 PEEK COPY SAVE
What state's nickname is the Show Me State?

It's in there somewhere. Kelly goes with the COPY. Correct answer was Missouri.

Marki's answer... show me Misssoorii for $10,000!

Jacob, though... "If you guess it's 1/50."

Next to help her on the milestone is Alana.

Next up for $100,000... It's Jacob.

4th Grade Math $100,000 PEEK COPY SAVE
How many numbers between 10 and 20 are perfect squares?

16 is a perfect square. It's the only thing Kelly can think of, so she goes with one. Michael doesn't feel good about that answer. He thinks that it's 12 and 16 for two...

"He's not as dumb as he looks... He's dumber!" The correct answer: one.

Kelly always wanted to go to space camp.
