Round 2 ($200 per word): connect THINK with CAP. Kristen thinks FAST. Adé gets fast BREAK. Kristen spells out GEL cap. Izzy gets break FREE. Brie is STYLING for the chain and $1000 to the guys' $600. Speed Chain: GOING with SCOUT. "Bald eagle"... is right for $1200 to the guys' $600.

Round 3 ($300 per word): connect LUCKY with SIZE. Chris gets Lucky STRIKE (remember, kids, smoking is wrong). Adé strikes OIL. Chris gets RING size and NAPKIN ring. Adé sweeps it out with CLOTH. Final Speed Chain: RIVER - D - H - MONITOR. Correct: "Dam hall" is ... not right. It was "Dance hall". The guys lead, $2100 to $1200.

Round 4: connect TOASTED with AGENT. Chain: TOASTED - MARSHMALLOW - FLUFF - PIECE - MEAL - TICKET - AGENT. The girls win the chain, but the guys win the game, $2100-$900

Family Feud by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check local listings or familyfeud.com
Host: John O'Hurley
Dito (Billy, Joe, Mark, Deanne, Jeff) Littlewood (Margaret, Jenny, Kathy, Erin, Pam); $20,000

This would be the first appearance of the "on podium" scoreboard.

Round 1: 100 women, an animal some men look like when they dance (5). Margaret gets the big one with monkey. But they get no further. The Ditos try to steal with chicken... Got it for 47. Other answers: bear, elephant, kangaroo.

Round 2: something a really lazy guy might teach his dog to fetch for him (5). Jenny gets the paper for #3. Joe's slippers... number 4. Erin gets the remote for #2. Pam's beer is the tops. The Ditos try again for the phone... Nope. The Littlewoods get 97. Cigarettes (remember, kids, smoking is bad).

Double: real or fictional, a famous "Holmes" (5). Kathy goes with John Holmes... John Holmes?!.... Number four, John Holmes! The ladies pass. Deanne gets #2, Katie Holmes. Jeff gets #3, Larry Holmes. Billy gets the big one, Sherlock Holmes. The Littlewoods get the steal opportunity with "Michael Holmes".... Michael Holmes?! Not there. Ditos get 229. Other answer: Oliver Wendell Holmes.

Triple: someone a kid worries will be mad if he misbehaves in church (4). Erin gets God for #3. Parents, though, are #1 for Deanne. Jeff gets #2, priest. The Littlewoods can steal the game with Jesus...  No! Ditos win, 505-97. Other answer: grandparents.

The just-turned-21 Deanne takes Fast Money for 29 the hard way, while Mark gets up to 93 for $465.

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check local listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek

Jim McMurtry
Tallahassee, FL
letter carrier
$58,401, two days

Joe Leibrandt
Costa Mesa, CA
marketing director

Danny Loss
orig. from Media, PA
library assistant

Danny's got two things going against him... 1) his last name, and 2) the fact that Jim is an information storehouse. But you never know.

Jim starts with $200 Letter Perfect. Going to the break, Danny finds the Daily Double under $1000 State Flags. He risks it all on this: it's the only US state whose flag includes the Union Jack. "What is Hawaii?" That... would be right. Danny instead loses everything on Mississippi, while Joe has $1800 and Jim leads with $3000.

He returns to 1800 going into the half, but it's Joe with the lead and $5400 to Jim's $2000, meaning that however much of a rebound Danny made, he's still starting Double Jeopardy!...

… with $400 African-American Authors, where Jim finds the first Daily Double under $2000. He bets $1500 on the rest of "a plea that upward to heaven he flings / I know why..." "What is 'the caged bird sings'?" Right for $4300. Jim finds the other one under $800 Corporate Logos. Jim bets $3000 on this: the bite taken out of the right side of its corporate logo refers to the story of Adam & Eve & the Tree of Knowledge. "What is Apple?" Right for $7300. It's a nice close game with Joe at $14,200, Jim at $11,300, and Danny at $11,000

Final Jeopardy! in "Math Words": in Latin the name of this math field meant a pebble used in counting, & the word also as the medical meaning "stone". Correct question: what is calculus?

Danny... wrong. Jim.... right and leading with $22,300. Joe .. .right... and winner by a dollar. Joe takes $22,601 into the next match, while Jim leaves with $60,401.

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS
Host: Bob Barker
Lisa Hardcastle, Shane Yetter, Artemis Steele, and Carol Devitt have a date with destiny... and with a set of camping equipment. It went for $799... to Shane. Shane has a chance to win a home gym marked at $1099 and a punch set marked at $875 at Barker's Bargain Bar. He goes with the punch set as the bigger markdown. The home gym is... $1599, a difference of $500. The punch set is... $1575 for a difference of $700!

Allison Sommer is down and up thanks to a $750 carousel horse. Now to grab the brass ring and $10,000 in the Grand Game. The products: Quickie soap/scrub brush, Pringle's chips, Pillsbury crescent rolls, Azo supplement, Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, and Blue star ointment. The target: $5.50. First up, the chips... 79c. Next, the rolls... $2.39. Next, the soup... $2.99, it says. Finally she goes on with the brush... $4.89! She's $10,000 richer!

Stacie Coppola is also down and up thanks to a $629 set of table clocks. We haven't given away a car yet, so let's try that with a Dodge Charger. The game is Pathfinder, and here's the board...

9 4 6 4 7
2 0 1 9 3
5 3 2 5 1
7 9 8 4 6
0 2 1 3 0

She picks up an MP3 player for $99, and crosscut shredder for $35, moving only as far as $23,..., but alas, she can't nail the coffee maker for $200, so no car for her.

And Allison, meanwhile, takes the first spot on Showcase Row. Back in Contestants' Row, though, the hot spot cools as Lisa scores an $800 pair of scooters (incidentally, she was a dollar off). She gets a chance at a hockey table, a lawn/garden package, and a bar set in Barker's Markers. The four prices: $2030, $1200, $2910, and $1750. She marks the first three. The hockey table is $1200. The lawn and garden pack is $2030. Now will she move the marker and give up her $500 bonus? Nope. Will she regret that decision? Yep.

Michael Bibeault heats up the hot spot again with a $1995 three-stone pendant. Now he gets at a Chevrolet Aveo in the Money Game. Middle number is 7. The board...

16 35 80
70 15 95
50 65 14

First up, the 16... dollars. The 15? Dollars. The 14... Front. The 80? Dollars. The 96? Dollars. He wins $206, but he would've gotten the car if he picked 65.

Last chance for both Carol and Artemis with a karaoke. Price: $1288. Winner... Ernest Shannon. He gets a shot at a computer with armoire. Ernie! Ernie! Ernie! gets to Pick-a-Number. The price is $30_1. Is that blank 2, 5, or 9? He goes with 5... It's 9.

Lisa plays runner-up in the Showcase. First up, cavepeople discover a grill, a trip to Italy, and a Sea-Doo. Top winner Allison passes to Lisa, who bids $25,000. Allison gets a dining room with dinnerware, a shaved-ice cart, and a grand piano. She tags it at $27,500. Actual price... $17,518. She's over. Lisa's Showcase is $32,894. She's your big winner today with $33,694.

Stats: 2-4, $53,669

¿Qué Dice La Gente? by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  7p ET/6p CT on Telefutura
Host: Marco Antonio Regil
Grieco (Hernando, Gabriela, David, Andrea, Marina)
Machado (Jhoanna, Alexis, Edgar, Yohany, Luis)

The Griecos lead, 149-37 after three. Double: something that instead of keeping it in a first aid kit you buy at the last second (4). Andrea gets #1, alcohol. Medicines, band-aids, and gauze round out the board for the win, 347-37.

Andrea and Marina take on Dinero Rápido. Andrea gets 50. Marina gets... 153 for $500. Remember, we crowned pentacampeones last time, so we meet a new family.

Grieco (Hernando, Gabriela, David, Andrea, Marina); $500
Correa (Flor, Jose, Miguel, Candy, Veronica)

The Griecos are whupping the Correas, 280-0 after three. Double: a festive day you celebrate with your entire family (4). Christmas is the big answer for Andrea. Thanksgiving... and that's it. What about Mother's Day? The Correas hope to stay alive... and they do with 164. Other answer: Fourth of July.

Triple: something a night watchman does to pass the time (4). Marina gets the big one, reading. They also get smoking (remember, kids, smoking is wrong), listen to the radio, and walk sweep the board for the win, 502-164.

Andrea and Marina take on Dinero Rápido again, where Andrea draws... $500. Together, they get 202 for $5000 more, giving them $6000 today.

That's the Question by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  6p ET/5p CT on GSN
Host: Bob Goen
Kim Chandler
Lake Chelan, WA
writer who wants to be a foot taller to be able to dunk a basketball
Tim Otto
Redwood Falls, MN
machinery manager who enjoys reading, running and eating pizza

Control question's answer is "Key West". That's Tim... "What is Florida's southern city?" Wrong. "Southernmost" would be right. It goes to Kim to start. First answer is ... "Old Glory". Tim hopes he's exactly correct here... "What is a two-word nickname for the American flag?" Right for the lead, 11-4.

Next answer... "The Astrodome". And we're going to Tim again. "What Houston sports arena was the first domed stadium?" He's right again, giving him the lead, 22-15.

Next answer... "nitroglycerine". And here's Tim going for three... "Dynamite's explosive properties come from what chemical compound?" He leads at the end of round one, 33-25.

Round 2 starts with a two-word answer. Kim rallies to a point... but we reveal the entire question as "Who is famous for gourmet popping corn?" But unlike previous times, Tim is allowed to answer it. "Orville Redenbacher." Right, but still trailing, 77-45.

Next answer has two words, six and seven letters. We're running out of time, not that it matters to Tim. He gets the question of "What Texas city is Latin for 'body of Christ'? Corpus Christi." But Kim wins it, 89-65.

After 89 seconds of answering questions and placing letters, Kim's Bonus Question is...

.... .s Do...d D.c.'s ..dd.e ...e? ----------

I got this one as "What is Donald Duck's middle name?" But the answer is... "Fauntleroy". At least Kim has the $500.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check local listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Yesterday, we saw James Brookes-Avey (Mesa, AZ) make it to $50,000, though he had to use all the lifelines to get that far. It was mentioned yesterday that his father hasn't been doing well, and he wants to take care of him, as well as pay some bills; hence, being here to win the money. Sounds like he really deserves more, so the game resumes...

[$100,000]
Written when its author was 21, the novel "First Impressions" was revised and published 16 years later under what title?
A: Little Women
B: The Awakening
C: The House of Mirth
D: Pride and Prejudice

He'd like to keep going, but James has decided to walk. After seeing that it was D, he heads home with $50,000!

Next up is Kimika Cooke (New York, NY). She's a court officer, but she's feeling really nervous here. She takes a few moments to breathe before starting, and as it starts, she knows that what GLAD Cling Wrap is made of is clear plastic (D was "Needy girlfriend"; make your own comment here). Soon, though, she faces this...

[$500]
What geographical region of the U.S. is home to a border area between two states that locals refer to as "Michiana"?
A: Deep South
B: New England
C: Midwest
D: Pacific Northwest

Kimika is thinking C, but she's not sure enough, so she asks the audience. 90% have chosen C. She goes with that, and she moves on. Kimika then reaches $1,000, and soon gets to this one...

[$8,000]
What computer innovation was patented by Douglas Engelbart in 1970 as the "X-Y position indicator for a display system"?
A: Pull-down menu
B: Laser printer
C: Mouse
D: Screen saver

The 50:50 leaves B and C. Kimika then calls a friend of his family, Pigeon, but he's afraid to answer it. Kimika then guesses C... and she's right! Another question later, and she has this to ponder...

[$25,000]
In 1849, mounting debt forced what French author to sell his famed castle, the Château de Monte-Cristo?
A: Alexandre Dumas
B: Victor Hugo
C: Jules Verne
D: Guy de Maupassant

She thinks that A wrote "The Count of Monte-Cristo", but Kimika just isn't sure, so she walks with $16,000. And it turns out that it was A.

Entering the hot seat now is Robert Ashton (Miami, FL). He's feeling great, so he gets right to it. Robert starts by knowing that Sir Mick Jagger was officially knighted in 2003 "for services to popular music" (though I wouldn't be surprised if he was honoured in some way for strutting in stretch pants). He sweeps the lower tier, then gets to $4,000.

That's all for today. Robert will resume playing tomorrow.
