Endurance is at
it again with another thrill-packed episode. Last
week, we witnessed RED win a puzzle piece thanks to a
girl named Erica. She, along with Franke on the RED
team chose YELLOW & GREEN as their super team, while
PURPLE, ORANGE & BLUE become the other super team.
Which 2 super teams will march onto victory?
Shea starts out by saying he is very nervous about
this mission, but Chris reminds them that this mission
would be the hardest. Over at the
Guys' cabin, they're telling who should be the leader,
while Julie claims that if her team doesn't win, she's
going to temple, and she won't be if she faces this
next challenge.
TODAY'S CHALLENGE: BRIDGING THE GAP
All head to J.D. for this mission, and J.D. mentions
that RED, YELLOW & GREEN are the strongest and PURPLE,
ORANGE & BLUE are the weakest. Hmmm, we'll see. For
this game, Teammates must set down a plank, walk over
from one point to another, then do the same. Once they
head for a spot where the flag is, they must grab it
and do the same headed to shore. The first team to
make it there will decide which 2 teams are up for
temple. If any of your teammates fall into the water,
you must restart on the current point where you were.
And with that...Game on! The 2 teams are off to a
great start, going neck-and-neck at it. However, a
roadblock was thrown when the strong team is having
trouble hanging up on a plank, but the weak ones are
having a stronger advantage, but the strong team
wanted to give up a little by jumping in the water,
sending the weak ones in cruise control. The strong
ones finally get the flag, but it was too late as the
weak ones won the challenge.
Franke caused all this by putting one plank down on
another, and that incident couldn't advance. But Shea
says it feels great for winning this mission. Outside
the cabins, the players predict that GREEN & YELLOW
want to go to temple, but Johnathan wanted RED &
something else. One girl wanted to make a decision
between GREEN & YELLOW, and the RED team on the other
hand has a plan not to lose in temple.
J.D. marches to the cabins where we witness this
scenario: 6 players are standing on one cabin and the
other 6 are sitting on the steps of another cabin. 2
teams who are sitting are headed to temple and J.D.
asks Johnathan for a decision. Johnathan decided it
was...RED & YELLOW. So RED & YELLOW prepare themselves
for the Temple of Fate. Johnathan said that the strong
super team screwed everything up for the mission, and
over at the Girls' cabin, the 2 teammates start
packing. Callie says there was nothing else electric
to work with during her time on Endurance, and Erika
says if RED wins temple, they got a couple of more
games to work with. Chris says his motto is to win,
never to lose, and Callie says she'll come back from
temple & have one of her friends gone. Both teams head
up to the temple to see who's gone. You know how it's
is. It's the FIRE-WATER-WOOD thing and if you get 2
wins, you stay alive on Endurance. Let's go....
ROUND 1
RED=WOOD YELLOW=WATER
Result: WOOD floats on WATER
Advantage: RED 1-0
ROUND 2
RED=WATER YELLOW=WOOD
Result: WOOD floats on WATER
Advantage: Tie Score
FINAL ROUND
RED=WOOD YELLOW=WATER
Result: WOOD floats on WATER
Winner: RED over YELLOW 2-1
RED is hot and YELLOW is not meaning RED is the one to
stay alive on Endurance. YELLOW team has the trust
piece and wants to give it to anyone to boost any
team's score. So with that, we end another episode of
Endurance. Next Week, we'll relive the 2nd episode
where they became teams of Endurance, but we'll be
back in a few weeks with a new
episode. Hope to see you soon.

Mega
Match by Gordon Pepper, GSNN
Air time: Saturdays Noon ET/11am CT on

We are back to the new
season of Mega Match episodes, as we start with one of their
newer games. In this one, all you have to do is transfer
chicken feed from one side to the other. The catch? You have
to do it with another person - while traversing inside a human
hamster wheel. The green team fills the colander up to 4, but
the Yellow team fills up their colinder to 5, so they draw
first blood.
We next get a Mega Match find. Behind 6 of the 12 spaces on
the board are Mega Match logos. The other 6 spaces have an
'X'. The team that uncovers the last Logo wins the
competition. Yellow team, which won the colored die roll-off
start. They find a logo under 4. Next guess is #9 and...a
Logo. They only need one more logo. Is it under #1? NO! An X
is there and it's over to Greem who selects #3, and who gets a
Logo. 6 is next, and we get...another Logo, tying the score at
2. Can they break the tie with 11? No they can't, because an X
is there. Back to Yellow, who picks 11 - and gets a Logo! They
need one more for the match, and they select #7. Behind it
is...The last logo and they have won the event.
It's time to Joust for the next event. Do you remember
American Gladiators? We have the kids version, complete with
rollong log instead of podiums and a 3 minute time limit.
After the time, we see that the Green Team smoked the Yellow
team, as they get back into the match.
We interrupt this competition to bring you a regaetton show.
Next up - the water bucket competition. Teams have to carry
buckets of water over a bridge and plop them on cylindrs on
the other side. Under the bridge is the other team, who tries
to knock the water carrier off. After 3 minutes from each
side, we see that the Green Team narrowly wins it, and ties
the match up at 2 events apiece.
It will come down to the Trivia Contest. It comes to the last
question, and the Yellow Team...jumps in too early. Oops. The
Green team wins the round, the Match and has a very nice 6:20
to run the House in.
Miguel gets to the bonus round and moves quickly in the book
room, but takes his sweet time in the potion room, and that
hurts him. The door in the thread room really kills him,
because it takes him a full 40 seconds to find the key. He
gets that one, and dresses up the model, but his time ends in
the next room, where he has to balance 10 bowling pins on a
surface. He gets appliances, a tv, a range/stover and a
refrigerator, but that's it.
Hour #2 sees us start with the same hamster wheel relay that
was used in the first hour. Though the numbers are different
(14 vs. 7), the Color results are the same - Yellow wins the
first round.
Well, you can't have this show without some ragaetton. Let's
have some now. Ahhhh.
Anyone for MXC? Taking the stunt from that show, you have to
take some feed from one side of the stage to the other by
jumping across cylinders that rotate. After each team gets 3
minutes, we see that the Green team got up to 11, while the
Yellow team got to 15, so they win the second game as well.
It's back to the Watercarrier stunt. Gee, we're not doing much
in terms of differentiation between the shows this week. The
Yellow team gets it a shade under 3, while the Green team gets
it to around the 3.5 mark. Green gets on the board.
With both teams tied at 3 minutes, the trivia event will once
again decide the winner, which today is the Yellow Team!
However, they only have 5:20 to get through the house, and it
doesn't help that he takes over a minute in the first room. It
takes him over a minute for the second room and William needs
to go faster. He does so in the thread room, leaving him 80
seconds for the Model Room. He gets past there, but doesn't
get to the Bowling Pin Room as time runs out. He also gets
appliances, a tv, a range/stover and a refrigerator. We'll
tune in next time to see if anyone can get any further. |
