Johnson (Scott, Amy, Eric, Kelli, Kati); $360
Wilson (April, Lisa, Steve, Ryan, Melanie)

What can I say that I didn't say yesterday? Round 1: if you were called to take part in an amateur contest, something you might do (6). April siiiiings for #1. Rap counts, too. Rest of the challengers dance, play instruments, and toss it over to those crazy Johnsons. Eating? Wet t-shirt? Bikini? Bueller? They go with... eating. Survey says... *raspberries*  Wilsons get the 83. Other answers: tell jokes, juggle, read/poetry.

Round 2: a phrase that starts with "back to" (5). "Back to the Future", one of the best trilogies, is #1 for Amy. We also go back to school, reality, the basics, and life for the 81-point sweep. Two point game going into the round of two points...

Double Round: past or present, someone famous whose first name is Harry (5). Steve gets #1, President Truman. Famous Harrys: Potter and Connick Jr. It's getting hairy here, so let's go to the Wilsons for the steal. They try Harry Houdini.. Quoth Dan Patrick... "Good!" They're up to 247. Other answer: Harry Belafonte. Daaaaay-O. Had to do that. Sorry.

Triple Round: something at which many fail the first time they try (4). Ryan blanks it. Kelli goes with driver's licensing for #1. The answers they come up with to follow: pop quiz, citizenship test, and a test to appear on a game show such as this one. One, two, three strikes. Going to the challengers: "Riding a bike." Count it! They have 284. The Johnsons have 247. We have dieting, cooking, and no 300s. That said, let's play...

Sudden Death: something specific that has an anchor. That's Kati. "Boat." Got it! Johnsons win, 511-284.

Having no luck the first time out, Eric & Kati try their hand at the Fast Money Board. Can't get any worse, right? Eric alone gets 177. That's a good sign there! And Kati rounds it out for $20,000, giving them $20,360 for two days.

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Adam Weinstein (graduate student from Ft. Lauderdale, FL); $20,000
Michael Levitin (attorney from Arlington, VA)
Glenda Niemiec (payroll specialist from St. Paul, MN)

Wrapping up the week with a new champ. Will we start next week with the same? He starts with the big guns, $1000 The French Revolution. Already, we're seeing traces of David Madden. Adam breaks the tie thanks to Arsenio's dog pound, with $3200 going into the first break. Glenda has $2400, while Michael is still lagging behind with $200.

Adam finds the Daily Double under $1000 New Here?. With the lead at five large, he bets $1200. The clue: it can be any beginner, bur a person who has entered a religious order but not taken final vows. "What is a novice?" Right on for $6200. He ends with $6800. Glenda has $3200, while Michael with $1200 gets the honor of going first in Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 Sports Nicknames. Adam finds the first Daily Double early under $800 Philosophy. As the lead gets even bigger, Adam tries to border on uncatchable with a $5000 bet. The clue: Gilbert Ryle tries to sort out the relation of the body & this, also the title of the venerable journal he edited. "What is Mind?" Is right for $15,800. Last category in play is Henry IV, Part 2, as Michael finds the Daily Double under $1600. He has $9600. And only $200 of it is going into the fray. Now to identify who said "I am not only witty in myself, but the cause that wit is in other men." "Who is Falstaff?" Right for $9800. He ends with that. Adam ends with $17,800. Glenda ends with $5200.

If you're in the 808, "Jeopardy!"'s a-coming! Register at jeopardy.com, and you could be saying Aloha to Alex in person.

Final Jeopardy! in "1950s Movie Ensembles": name missing from this list: Webber, Begley, Marshall, Warden, Balsam, Fiedler, Klugman, Binns, Sweeney, Voskovec & Cobb. Correct question: What is Fonda?

Adam, not even old enough to remember the original "12 Angry Men", is the only one to get it right, as he wins today's match with $19,700, a two-day take of $39,700.

The Price is Right by Travis Schario, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS (markets may vary)
Host: Bob Barker
It's Friday at the Price as we start things off with Monica Patton, Jared McDonald, Marjorie Foster, and Virginia Rodriguez. Bob comes in from the back, and that can mean one of two things. First, though, the matter of a Mac to deal with. Monica wins the computer and a trip down the Golden Road, where a can of corn can get you a set of luggage, a set of luggage can get you a sofa, and a sofa can get you a $76,000+ motorhome! The corn is 92¢. The luggage is $_40. Monica guesses 9. And that's... right! The sofa is $1_38. Monica guesses 4, and that's right! Now to the 'Bago, marked $76,_74. She guesses 3, and the actual number is... 8. D'oh!

US Marine Jared wins cookware, but bombs out on Grand Game. The target: $4. The products: Carnation malted milk, Dreamfields macaroni, Chips Ahoy cookies, Fiji bottled water, Super Poligrip, and Phillips milk of magnesia. The first choice: the malted milk. The price: $4.39.

Some RC cars (and a hydroplane) go to Virginia in round 3, as she gets a crack at a gas grill and a washer/dryer playing the Clock Game. Which means that she also gets a chance at $1000. She wins the $779 grill in 18 seconds. No problem there. But check out the play on the washer/dryer, marked $799.

"500." Higher. "600." Higher. "800." Lower. "750." Higher. "789." Lower.

Problem. Bob acknowledges it, and gives her both prizes and the $1000. But Jared would get the place in the Showcase.

Vernita Meadows gets a ping-pong table and equipment in round 4 and gets to Freeze the Frame for a digital piano. It's $4995, and Vernita's got her a new piano!

Adam Anderson gets an electric fireplace and a chance to pick the Master Key locks for flashlights, an outdoor TV, and a Ford Ranger XL! He gets keys from a laser measure and an MP3 player. With the laser measure key, he opens... nothing. With the MP3 player, he gets... the truck!

Dana Rine snipes Marjorie's last chance to get on stage with an encyclopedia. Today, she's playing Most Expensive for trips to Seattle, Santa Fe, and Savannah! Applying the distance rule, Savannah would be an ideal pick, as she goes with that. Unfortunately, this would be the exception, as the Most Expensive was the trip to Santa Fe. Both she and Vernita would spin out 85, but Vernita wins the Spinoff and the spot in the Showcase.

First Showcase: a new range, a new dining room with dinnerware, and a catamaran. Top winner Vernita passes to Jared, who bids $26,000. Emma Embellish, slightly-dishonest real estate agent, visits Vernita to deliver her Showcase of a soda fountain, a Comfort Spa-in-a-box, and a Ford Five Hundred. She bids $18,500. Actual price: $30,765, a difference of $12,265. Actual price of Jared's Showcase... $19,872. Vernita's your big winner with $36,280.

Stats: 3*-3, $61,964

He is an internet entrepreneur. Mark Rose from Keygo Harbor, MI is a loan officer. Sheri Robinson is a graduate from John Jay College and she is the first to graduate from her family. She graduated Magna Cum Laude.

The $2,000 Tossup is LIVING THINGS. He is two for two with GUIDE DOGS. We add a trip to NYC to see Billy Joel sponsored by Circuit City and his new box set "My Lives"...it's worth $4,500. Scott starts this round which is EVENT...and it's a PRIZE PUZZLE. He hits and picks up the free spin and the $1,000 Swarovski gift certificate. He loses his money on Bankrupt...he uses the Free Spin...and hits and picks up the $10,000 wedge. He controls the wheel for the rest of the round and solves CLEARING CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION for $4,550. And you can do that when you go on your trip to Hungary! It's a trip from Pradesco Tours and Malev Hungarian Airlines to Budapest worth $5,200... and if you have BW03964--you are off to Hungary! That round was worth $19,750...and it's been all Scott with $22,750 in cash and trips!

The jackpot round is sponsored by Eggland's Best Eggs. The category is SAME NAME. Mark finally gets a chance to spin. He misses a vowel... over to Sheri...over to Scott. He misses...back to Mark. He hits the $3,500 wedge and one H. He solves CHRISTMAS & VISA CARD for $6,350.

The mystery round prize is a pricegrabber.com shopping spree worth $10,000...the category is AROUND THE HOUSE. And Sheri gets her shot. She hits the mystery wedge...will she risk the $2,000? She does... and we know it's BANKRUPT! Oh no...over to Scott. He hits Bankrupt... over to Mark. He misses a vowel...back to Sheri...she hits Bankrupt... back to Scott. He misses...Mark gets his shot again! He solves LEMON-SCENTED FURNITURE POLISH for $5,850! He has $12,200 in cash!

The $3,000 tossup is next. THINGS it is. Sheri is on the board with SMOKED ALMONDS and $3,000. The category is PHRASE...but it's FINAL SPIN TIME...and we hit the big one...$6,000 a letter tonight! And Scott wins $36,000 with AN OFFER YOU CAN'T REFUSE! He has a huge total of $58,750 in cash and prizes! What a huge total! Sheri leaves with $3,000. Mark leaves with $12,200--all cash!

The front game gave away $73,950 in cash and prizes...can we add even more? Scott lands on the second 0 in $100,000. His category is BEST SELLER. With the RSTLNE we have:

_ _ _   _ _
_ _ _ _ _ N _

He picks DHMI and we have:

_ _ _   _ _
_ _ _ _ I N _

He has no clue. I got this one. It was JOY OF COOKING. And he lost the 2006 Nissan Murano SUV. And he wasn't too upset. He leaves with $58,750! Next week--we travel to some 5 Star Resorts!

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Yesterday, we saw Kendra Pierre-Louis (Bayside, NY) get to $8,000 without any problems. Can she keep up the momentum?

Kendra used to screen all her calls, not picking up any that were unidentified by Caller ID. But one time, she picked up an unidentified call anyway, and it happened to be a Millionaire producer letting her know that she was selected as a contestant. Because of that, she now picks up every call. But here, she's here to win more money, and she can resume doing so with this $16,000 question...

Carrots are often said to be good for the eyes because they enable the body to create what nutrient?
A: Riboflavin
B: Vitamin A
C: Iron
D: Vitamin D

Kendra asks the audience. 71% of the studio audience and 49% of the AIM users pick B, so she goes with them... and they're right! Now, for the $25,000 level...

In 2005, Britain's Prince William graduated from prestigious St. Andrews University with a degree in what subject?
A: Chemistry
B: Psychology
C: Literature
D: Geography

Kendra goes with C... but it's D! Unfortunately, that sends her home with just $1,000.

Next up is Raquel Marquez (San Ysidro, CA). She happens to be the youngest member of a school board in California. Ever. And she also wants to be the U.S.'s first female president. But right now, she's gonna try to become the first million-dollar winner of the season (not to mention the first one in over 2½ years). Raquel starts by knowing that according to a common expression, "where there's smoke, there's fire". She makes it through the lower tier, then eventually, she gets to this for $4,000...

Which of these U.S. states is located entirely in the Eastern Time Zone?
A: Ohio
B: Kentucky
C: Tennessee
D: Florida

Raquel decides to turn to the audience, and 61% of the studio audience says D, while 63% of the AIM users agree. She trusts them... but they're wrong! It was A (said by 22% of studio and 23% of AIM)! Man, things are not looking good today, as Raquel will have to settle for $1,000.

Sitting in the hot seat now is David Hartzell (Clarence Center, NY). As he sat down, he thought to himself, "Where would you rather be?" And his response? "No place but Millionaire!" That's the spirit! David starts by knowing that LensCrafters stores promise to deliver eyeglasses "in about an hour" (anyone could deliver 60 servings of Minute Rice if they had enough of the stuff). He soon secures $1,000, then makes it up to $8,000 before seeing this question for $16,000...

The 2005 bestseller "Why Do Men Have Nipples?" is subtitled "Hundreds of Questions You'd Only Ask a Doctor" when?
A: While Heavily Sedated
B: After Your Third Martini
C: While Your Pants Are On
D: Over the Internet

David needs help from the audience. 44% of the studio audience says D, while 20% says B. But 34% of the AIM users say B, while 18% says D. With the mixed response, David then decides to call his doctor, Dr. Paddy, but he isn't able to give a response in time. Finally, the 50:50 is used, and B and C remain. Unfortunately, that's not enough, so David walks. It turns out the AIM group was right, as it was B. But at least he goes home with $8,000!

Time for today's 4th player, Celeste Brantolino (Cranston, RI). She hadn't told anyone that she'd be here; not even her kids. She told them she was on a business trip. She wanted it to be a surprise, and she wanted to see (and tape) their reaction when they suddenly saw her on TV. Neat idea; I wonder how they reacted after this aired. Anyway, Celeste starts by knowing that since 1973, life in Genoa City has been the subject of "The Young and the Restless". She then gets to $200...

And the horn goes off. Celeste will return, but not for a while, because on Monday, Millionaire will begin a week-long salute to teachers.
