Family Feud by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or familyfeud.com
Host: Richard Karn
Parker (Margie, Victor, Tania, Judy, Alisha) from Raleigh, NC
Parsons (Tim, Charise, Tiffany, Chantel, Taryn) from Arizona; $20,560, two days

Did we say Queens? Our mistake. Round 1: a word women use for a good-looking guy (7). Margie gets #3, handsome. Tim gets #2, hot. Charise gets #5, fine. Chantel gets #6, sexy. But can the Parkers steal with a hunk? Yep, that's #1. The Parkers have 51. Other answer: cute, stud.

Round 2: one fact about a troll (6). Charise's ugly is #2. Victor comes up short, literally, with #4. We also get hairy, living under bridges, and scary. Parkers again with a chance and "bulging eyes." Not there, the champs score 80. Amazingly enough, spamming usergroups didn't make the list. Go fig. What did: they're not real. See, ignore them, and they go away.

Double Round: something a real cowboy might like to be buried with when he dies (5). Tania's gun beats Tiffany's hat, 2 to 3. His horse and spurs also make the list, but the number one answer? His boots. The Parkers lead it, 245-80.

Triple Round: something golfers might lose during a round of golf (4). Chantel gets #1, a ball. Clubs and tees do it for the Parsons. Will "cart" do it for the Parkers? No! The Parsons win, 344-245. Other answer: temper (said... sort of).

Tim has outlived his Fast Money usefulness, so it's Charise's turn to join Taryn at the big board. Charise sweeps the number ones for 145. Taryn only manages another 11 for another $780, giving the family $21,340.

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Maria Wenglinski (teacher orig. from Salt Lake City); $111,700; four days
Shelley Fellner-Rosenberg (psychotherapist from South Windsor, CT)
Kari Russ (editor orig. from Horseheads, NY)

Maria's made it past the $100K mark, but is she really the "female Ken Jennings?" She starts with $200 Head North, finding the Daily Double under the $800 level. She makes it true for $1000. The clue: Nevada's northern border is shared with these 2 states. "What are Idaho and Oregon?" Alex: "What is correct?" She doubles up to $2000. So far, she's in the lead, at the TV time out, $4400 to Shelley's $2000 and Kari's $800.

At the half, Shelley stays at $2000, Maria shoots to $9400, and Kari goes to $1800, meaning that she will have the honor of starting in Double Jeopardy!...

... But first, a reminder! Next week is the College Championship from NC State. Technically, the RBC Center in Raleigh, home to both Wolfpack basketball (C-Note: Grrrr...) and the Carolina Hurricanes (C-Note: Yay!). You'll want to go over to the Primes section for that.

Now to Kari, as she starts with $400 "T" Zones, but finds the first Daily Double under $1600 The Bounty of the Pig. She bets $1800 on the name of jellied pig loaf. "What is head cheese?" Would've been right, except she said "goat cheese". She drops to $2000. She has a chance to redeem herself with $1200 Baby Books, the other Daily Double. She pulls the trigger for all the marbles on this clue: "Baby Catcher" is the "Chronicles of a Modern" one of these. "What is a nanny?" A midwife, as she drops to zero. After a visit from Pretty Boy Probst, once again it's Maria's game to lose with $20,600 to Shelley's $6800 to Kari's $3600.

Final Jeopardy! in "Precious Metals": the largest single accumulation of gold known, about $90 billion from several countries, is found in this US state. Correct question: What is New York?

Kari is wrong, but wagers nothing. Shelley is also wrong, but it only costs her $400. Maria... also wrong. Wagering very important now... She only bets $10,000, Yeah, ONLY! Maria wins again with $10,600, giving her a five-day take of $122,300 and a two-week rest until her next challenge.

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS (markets may vary)
Host: Bob Barker
Craig Gumescheimer, Agnieszka Loba, Christian Ivins, and Latanya Meekins kick off our second replacement show from 33. Here's how they (and a few of their friends) fared.

First up, a bumper pool table. It goes to Latanya, as she takes a chair to a Swap Meet with a pair of electric guitars, a home gym, and a gas range on offer. She thinks the range will match the chair. The range... $899. The chair... $899!

And the man that takes his place doesn't do so for long, as Brody Logan takes his & hers bikes that are literally the Shizzle. Hopefully he won't go Bonkers trying to win a barrel sauna. It isn't $7753. He goes low, high, high, low. Wrong. Low, high, high, high. Wrong. Low, low, low, high. Correct!

Craig gets his turn on stage with a gumball machine. Now he has to Pass the Buck for a Ford Focus! The first pair: Bayer aspirin at $4.40 and Campbell's Cream of Mushroom at $1.02. He passes it to the soup, and if you remember yesterday's show, you know he's wrong. Next pair: Hot Pockets at $1.29 and Clorox cleaner at $3.49. He passes it to the cleaner, and again, if you saw yesterday's show, you know he's wrong. So he only has the freeball, but he makes it count, picking the car. And he's not done winning yet, as he takes his game to the Showcase!

And hey, if you want to take your own trip to the Showcase, it's now as easy as going to http://CBS.com/daytime/price! Just click "Come on down!" and they'll hook you up. Of course, you can also send an SASE to 7800 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036, but if you do have an internet connection, it may save you the headache of looking for a stamp.

Back down to Contestant's Row for the action. Agnieszka wins dog sculptures in round 4, and heads to Bob's Bargain Bar for trip to Seattle (to visit Travis and Seidelman) and Scottsdale (to visit... somebody). Seattle's marked at $2293. Scottsdale's marked at $2736. She thinks that Scottsdale's the bigger bargain... and it is!

We're on a hot streak now. Can Christian continue it? He wins a water bike, and gets a chance to play the Bonus Game for a dining room with dinnerware. He wins two windows with a breakfast maker and an electric toothbrush. If the bonus is beside one of them, he's a winner.... and he's a winner by virtue of the toothpaste.

The woman that replaced Brody, Angelina Carciavallo, meanwhile has the hopes of a perfect show riding on her shoulders. She got a stereo system in the one-bid. Now if she gets the six-for-six, she'll take home lamps, an ice shaver, a knife set... and a Jeep Wrangler! The game, of course, is Line'em Up. And she does that... Takes her two tries, and the first one was totally worthless, but she does that. We have a perfect show! And Angelina's heading to the end of it!

She gets the honors as TPIR pampers its cast with a recliner, a Robotron/Joust arcade game, a patio heater, another patio heater, and a Cadillac. Mmmmm... Cadillac. Angelina bids $42,000. Craig, meanwhile, gets a new bedroom with mattress, a plasma TV, and a snowmobile. He bids $17,200, a difference of $7843. Actual price of Angelina's Showcase? $40,303. A hair over. Craig wins it with $43,067 of a total take of $110,427... or what Maria Wenglinski makes on a good week.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Host: Meredith Vieira
It's Friday, and I don't know about you, but I'm itching to see someone win big.

First up today is Lisa Heywood (New York, NY). She is a "body-parts model", which means her hands, feet, etc. are subbed in for various close-up shots in various shows, movies, commercials, and other stuff like that. Now, we'll see if she has enough brainpower to win a million dollars. Lisa begins by knowing that after the stock market crash of 1929, the U.S. suffered a decade-long economic decline known as the Great Depression (at least the people weren't so desperate as to have it become "The Time We Ate Squirrel"). She then eventually gets to the $1,000 question...

Posted on a yellow sticker on gas pumps, the octane grade of regular unleaded gasoline is usually what?
A: 27
B: 47
C: 67
D: 87

Lisa asks the audience. 88% of the studio audience says D, and so does 55% of the AIM users. She goes with D... and that's worth $1,000! She then goes through a few more questions, including one which asks what "international" food is a standard ingredient of a McDonald's Egg McMuffin (Canadian bacon), before getting to this question worth $16,000...

What classic board game's pieces include Generals, Scouts, Spies and Flags?
A: Battleship
B: Risk
C: Stratego
D: Othello

Lisa uses the 50:50, which leaves B and C. She then decides to call her friend, Jeff, who is sure that it's C. So, Lisa goes with C... and is right! She then gets to $25,000 with a correct guess on what type of dance the 1877 piano piece "Chopsticks" is usually classified as (Waltz), before facing this $50,000 question...

Which of these spices is made by grinding the red membrane that covers the nutmeg seed?
A: Cumin
B: Turmeric
C: Coriander
D: Mace

Lisa uses some deduction at this point, since she's a food person. She says that it's not A... She says that it's not C... She says that it's not B... And that leaves D. So, she goes with D... and she's right! Then, she faces a question asking what Pacific island Amelia Earhart was last seen taking off from during her fateful 1937 trip around the world. Lisa has an idea that it might be New Guinea, but she's not sure enough to take the risk, so she switches it out. It turns out that it was indeed New Guinea, but now, she has this alternate question for $100,000...

When founded in 1946, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was focused primarily on what disease?
A: Polio
B: Typhoid
C: Malaria
D: Tuberculosis

This time, she's thinking that it might be A, but once again, she's not sure enough. So this time, she walks. At least she didn't go for it this time, since it was actually C. But hey, she does leave with $50,000, and she earned it!

Up next is James Shand (Miami, FL). He explains that whenever something exciting happens at his place, it is called "Shandemonium", a word coined by his father. James then starts by knowing that the Tower of Pisa is usually said to be leaning. He then breezes through some more questions, like one that asks which sporting event doesn't take place once a year (Summer Olympics), before getting to $4,000.

And the horn signals the end of the show for this week. James will return, but it looks like he'll have to wait a while, because according to millionairetv.com, next week, we'll be seeing engaged couples Play to Pay for their Weddings.
