Butcher (Heidi, Corie, Amie, Marcie, Kelli); $20,000
Cantu (Fred, Robert, David, Ron, Matt)

Beautiful sisters and fat brothers/cousins... No, you're not watching a retread of "Average Joe".

Round 1: 100 women, a sport you'd only watch if the players were naked (full board). Fred fires with football, number one answer. Rest of the family gets baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and hockey. Two answers left, what do the sisters have to say? They go with golf. Up there? Yep. Apparently 100 women wouldn't mind seeing... little... Tiger. Anyway, the last answer was polo. Butchers are at 73.

Round 2: something you do using one finger only (5). Robert gets type, #3. Corie does one better with point. Amie gets #4, pick nose. Marcie dials up the phone for #1. Kelli hopes "flip the bird" is #5. It... isn't. It's "push button", giving the Butchers 160.

Double Round: 100 single men, something you own you hate to have other people playing around with (5). Amie's car beats Robert's stereo, 1 to 3. They also get computer, but that's it. The Cantus go with TV. Don't mess with the TV. Not there, giivng the Butchers, 252. the other answer said was tools... and it was #4. Other answer: CD's/music.

Triple Round: an amusement park ride you can compare to marriage (4). Ron goes on Space Mountain (which is pretty cool, if you ask me). It's a roller coaster.. which is #1. Rest of the guys get merry-go-round. The girls try on bumper cars. Got it! Other answer: Ferris Wheel. Butchers get another win, 525-0.

Can Heidi and Kelli double their take with another $20,000? Heidi's first.

1) Besides golfers, something you'd see at a golf course (golf cart)
2) A big shoe size for a man (13)
3) Part of a chicken you'd hate to have to eat (feet)
4) Food that starts with the letter "O" (orange)
5) Something that has a hook (fishing pole)

Heidi gets only 68. Needless to say, $20K is a tall order for Kelli, who must get 132. She'll have to do it with three, since she passed twice. Together, the sisters get only 122 for $610, giving them $20,610 for two days.

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
David Madden (student orig. from Ridgewood, NJ, now living in Berlin, Germany); $391,900, 17 days
Michael Shirts (research scientist from New York City)
Martha McKinney (pediatrician from Kingston, ON)

The first clue David goes after, $800 Marsupials, happens to be the Daily Double. Now he can bet any or all of his $0... but he'll go the whole $1000 instead. The clue: named partly for its temper, its extinct on the Australian mainland but endures on an island. "What's the Tasmanian Devil?" Just like that, he's got $1000. He leads it going into Double Jeopardy! with $7400 to Martha's $5000. Michael, with $1600 and the last correct response going into the half, starts Double Jeopardy!...

... with $2000 Before & After. CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour delivers to David a video Daily Double under $1600 World Capitals. He wagers $5400 on this: "in 1992 I reported from the shores of this African capital when the US military launched Operation: Restore Hope." "What is Mogadishu?" Right on for $14,000. David also finds the second Daily Double under $1600 Dickens Hears from Hollywood. He bets $2400 on Uncle Ralph, an alliterative title, and "Wackford Squeers" becoming "Ford Sears" for two product placements. "I studied this yesterday. What is Nicholas Nickleby?" Right and always prepared! He's got $18,000. That'll turn into $19,200 at round's end, but it's not a runaway, as a last-minute rally by Michael gives him $10,800 to Martha's $9400.

Remember, if you're living in Seattle or Vancouver (ahem, Travis), you can register for J! tryouts at the website above this recap. Now to business...

Final Jeopardy! in "European Rulers": this man who became a ruler in 2005 is the great-nephew of the 1926 winner of the Pulitzer Prize for drama. Correct response: Who is Prince Albert of Monaco? His great uncle was Grace Kelly's uncle.

All three are right, and Michael forces David into a must-win situation with a bid of $8450, giving him $19,250. Wagers are important now, as he adds $2800, giving him $22,000 for today, and $413,900 for 18 days.

Lingo by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  7p ET/6p CT on GSN
Host: Chuck Woolery
Good friends Carrie (in sales) & Regina (freelance transcriber)
Friends Ryan (distribution coordinator) & April (waitress)

Carrie & Regina start the game with an S, an L, a P, and an M. Ryan & April finish the SLURP, and then follow THERE with a stopper. Carrie & Regina get ASSET, followed by PEACE and another red draw. Ryan & April step up their GUARD, and it pays off with a Lingo, giving them 125 to the Yellows' 50. Carrie & Regina get WORMS for 25, followed by KINKS, DRUMS, and the Lingo for the lead, 175-125. Ryan gets BEAST at the top. A red stopper comes up, but the lead is closed somewhat, 175-150, going into ...

Round 2. Ryan & April pick up CHEAP for the lead, but Carrie & Regina steal HOLDS to take back the lead, following with GRASP. Ryan & April SWIPE 50 from the Yellows, and victory from the jaws of defeat, thanks to a ? ball and the Lingo afterwards. Ryan & April win it, 350-275.

With three Bonus Lingo letters, Ryan & April get INPUT, SPEAK, ZONED, COINS, LIKED, and BINGO, giving them six balls and six bills. Ryan needs to draw 20 for $10,000.... He gets 52. So much for luck. At least Ryan makes up for it on the back end, giving them $5000.

Trato Hecho by Gordon Pepper, GSNN

Air time:  12p ET/11a CT on Univision
Host: Guillermo Huesca
Flor is a beautiful bride. Carlos is a butchered up knight. Juanita is a cute clown. All three of them are there for Flor is making the decisions in her group. She Can take either the small box #1 or give everyone $200. She goes for the money and everyone is happy - until they see that she turned down a DVD player worth $399. Carlos is the next person up - and he trades everyone's $200 for the box. This time, he makes a good decision, because in the box is a new stove worth $599. It's time for Juanita to make a decision - keep the stove or give it up for small box #2? She keeps the range, but waiting for them in the box was a pair of XM Satellite Radio devices worth $760.

However, they all have their stove - which each of them can get rid of for Curtain #2. They all keep the stove. None of them take Curtain #2, which has a stairway to hea...no...a Chasco! Everyone leaves with a stove and they are all happy.

We get a quick deal with Santos, who's wearing an aerobic outfit. She can have the Derman (and what's inside it), or she can have what's in the box. She wants the box - and gives up $50. There has to be something good in the box - and there is - a washer/dryer combo worth $1,098! Buen Trato, Santos!

Guillermo has MONEY to hand out! Who wants some? Rudolfo the Toreador and Alina the college student want some. Alina can choose bills 1-4 or bills 5-8. She chooses 5-8, but we go to Rudolfo first. His bills are $20, $20, $100 and ?. He can see the 4th bill - or he can take curtain #1. He goes for the curtain and gets a beautiful patio set, along with a barbecue and a lobster-gram which totals $1,617! The last bill is $20, so he would have walked off with $160. With that, we go to Alina and see her bills, which are $50, $50, $100, and...? Guillermo has Curtain #3 for her, but she wants the money. Behind the curtain is...a baby crib with a big Chasco Baby in there, dreaming of sheep. Alina won't have to dream of money - she has $1,000 on the last bill for a total of $1,200!

How long is she going to keep it? The Gran Trato is up next, and she's decides that she wants the money. Rudolfo gives up the patio and lobster gram, and Santos gives up the Washer/Dryer, so we have our two pickers.

What will they win? Rudolfo wants #2 and Santos wants #1. We will first see...#3, which no one took. That was a nice deal, as we have a range, a refrigerator and a trash compactor - all worth a total of $2,427. Next up... #1, as we have $700 for Santos, which is a small step down. It's a big step up for Rudolfo, who winds up with El Gran Trato, which today is carpeting, and a living room, with a nice big sofa, lamps, and tables, worth $5,272! That's two in a row, if we're keeping score. Tune in tomorrow to see if we can make it three.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Yesterday, we saw Ikie Holder (Midlothian, TX) make it to the $4,000 level, and he still has all his lifelines available. Can this teacher/Desert Storm vet/new father make it all the way to the big prize?

Ikie also happens to be a big flirt, even though he is married. Oh, and his wife is in the audience. We'll see if Ikie can behave himself as he resumes the game with this question for $8,000...

What popular teen TV series has inspired a line of T-shirts reading either "I'm a Seth girl" or "I'm a Ryan girl"?
A: Everwood
B: The O.C.
C: One Tree Hill
D: Smallville

Ikie chooses to ask the audience at this point. The polls show a good majority, as 78% of the studio audience and 63% of the AIM users go with B. Ikie goes with them... and they're right! Then, after getting another question right, he has this for $25,000...

How many U.S. states were admitted into the Union in the 20th century?
A: 4
B: 5
C: 6
D: 7

The 50:50 leaves B and C, but that's not enough for Ikie, so he calls Scott, who used to be an art teacher. Unfortunately, the best that Scott can offer is a total guess, saying B. So, Ikie decides not to take the risk, and quits. It turns out that the total guess was right, though; it was B. But hey, $16,000 is not bad.

Time to bring in Jony Schwartz (San Mateo, CA), who happens to be the mother of twin boys. And they show a picture of them, in which they appear to be crying. Jony also has a mantra, where she refers to herself as a Millionaire machine. As her road to a million begins, she plows through the first question, knowing that Christopher Columbus's voyage in 1492 was said to have proven to Europeans that the earth was round. Jony then rolls through some more questions like a machine, including one that asks what landmark was sent to the U.S. in 350 pieces aboard a French frigate (Statue of Liberty). Then, at the $16,000 level, Jony gets this question...

Suffered by marathoners, hyponatremia is a serious medical condition that occurs if you do what?
A: Drink too much water
B: Get too much sunlight
C: Consume too many carbs
D: Lose too much body fat

Jony asks the audience, but the results turn out to be close. Of the studio audience, 46% said A and 43% said D. In the AIM poll, 27% said A and 42% said D. Jony was leaning towards D, but she's not sure enough to go for it, so she calls Brian, her companion's husband. Though Jony uses up some time spelling out hyponatremia for him, Brian has enough time to say that he's 100% sure it's A. Jony goes with A... and is up to $16,000! Now, for the $25,000 question...

Now referring to a tactic used to delay legislation, the word "filibuster" was originally used to refer to what outlaws?
A: Bank robbers
B: Cattle thieves
C: Pirates
D: Grave robbers

Jony uses the 50:50, which takes away A and D. After some thought, she decides to go for it, and says C... and she's right for $25,000!

That's all for today. Jony will be back tomorrow, to hopefully prove that she is indeed a Millionaire machine.
