Yellows: High-school buddies Elyce (writer) &
Stacie (corporate recruiter with an internet
company) |
|
Reds: Good friends Brad (event producer) & Kirk
(college professor) |
Elyce & Stacie get it
poppin' with GROSS and PLANT, but Brad & Kirk steal
SWEAT. They follow with WARTS, FLAKE, and the Lingo for
125 to the Yellows' 50. But they're not done, as they
steal TICKS, and follow with DUNKS, but Shandi has
misplaced faith, as Brad comes up red. They get the draw
back with MELON. And Brad comes up red AGAIN. They still
lead, 200 to 50, at the half.
Elyce & Stacie start
round 2 with PUPIL. They tie the score with a Lingo at
200. Brad & Kirk get BUTCH, and get another Lingo. Elyce
& Stacie ALLOW another 50, but it's game over with the
score at 350 to 250. It's Brad & Kirk vs. the Bonus
Lingo board...
... but they do go with
three letters. They do some serious damage, getting
FIXES, IVORY, LOTTO, NINJA, GLOVE, SYRUP, and JUNKS for
seven words and seven bills. The record's 10, Chuck. It
takes 44 on the first pull for $10,000. Brad gets... 48.
Close. It was very possible that they could go seven
pulls without getting the Lingo.... but it doesn't
happen today. They go five pulls for $5000. |

We start with a knight in shining armor (Mario) and his wife (Maria) getting $100 from Guillermo. And with that, they can buy...(Rich Fields)..A NEW
TRUCK! (/Rich Fields) worth $20,495!!!! Standing in their way between them
and the truck are Formula 409, ZEP Carpet Cleaner, 4 tubes of Krazy Glue,
and Schultz Liquid Plant Food. How do they win the car? They have to put the
products in order from cheapest to most expensive. The couple's order is
Krazy Glue, 409, Zed and then Schultz. Immediately they get the loser horn,
meaning they have NONE of them in the right place! Ouch.
They will get another chance - IF they give
Guillermo back the $100. They do, and the new order is 409, Zed, Schultz and
Krazy Glue. With no horns, they have at least one right, but Guillermo gives
them a chance to bail out with Curtain #2. They go for the truck - and pass
up on a sofa set and tables worth $1,865!
Did
they win the Car? The most expensive is the Krazy Glue! That's good. The Next Expensive is...the 409. That's bad and they are out. For the record,
the right order was Zep, Schultz, 409 and Krazy Glue.
We need a new player - and we get Belly Dancer
Erica, who has to choose between 2 churros. One of them, the bigger one -
has $500. Erica picks #1, and Guillermo attempts to buy her off with $50.
She quickly shrugs Guillermo off, and selects...the big Churro for $500!
For the next game, Guillermo selects Israel
the baseball player and Antonio the Monk. It's time for the Trato Hecho
Mystery Auction! Each of them gets $400. They can spend $200 on each of the
boxes. We start with Box #3. Antonio spends $200 on a nice gold watch worth
$300. Next up - Box #2. Israel now spends $200 on...$600 worth of Gasoline!
Nice! Finally, Box #1 is up and they both spend money on...chocolate Easter
Eggs (Chasco!).
They still have some nice
stuff...and Israel is the first one up for the Gran Trato - which he
accepts. Erica is up next - but she keeps the $500. Antonio will gladly trade
the watch and Easter Eggs for a shot at over $5,000...
...which is hiding under one of three
doors. But where is it? Israel says 2. Antonio says 1. We first see
door...#3, where we see $800, so it's not there. Next up, door...#2, which
has a washer/dryer combination, along with an iron and a $250 gift
certificate. Total vaule - $2,547, which is nice, but Antonio has El Gran
Trato, which today is a new kitchen, complete with dining room table,
dinette set, silverware, Bakers Rack, Cookware, and a new range. Total Value
- $5,350. Antonio is jumping up and down and Israel comes over to give him a man hug. AwwwwBarf.
