Yellows: Bestest good friends Chad (unemployed)
& Danforth (notary public) |
|
Reds: Best friends Alexis (makeup artist) &
Jason (coordinator) |
Chad & Danforth's first
up with an A. But it's Alexis & Jason with the steal of
ALIEN (rather walked into it, actually). Jason alienates
a red stopper from the drum. But they get the draw back,
because Chad can't spell "really." Alexis spells RULER
for 25. And Jason draws another stopper. They get the
draw back AGAIN with HELPS. And they get to keep it! For
the next word, at least, as Chad & Danforth get on the
board with GRAMS, CANON, BUNCH, QUIET, and... that's it.
Alexis & Jason tie it with ERUPT, but they Lingo to lead
it, 150-100, at the half.
So we go to the Yellows
to start round 2. Alexis & Jason steal LABOR, though.
They follow with a trip to the MAYOR, and he gives up a
stopper. Alexis & Jason get it back with DRIED, and
Lingo for the 400-100 lead, yay. Chad & Danforth get
NECKS and, uh, one of those things. That would be a ?
ball, and that would be a Lingo, giving them 250, but
it's not enough. With 400, it's all about Alexis &
Jason...
But I wanted to see Chad
& Danforth play Bonus Lingo... Oh well. the Reds get
three letters, and with those they get LIVED, SLEEP,
DREAM, READS, TOPAZ, OBEYS, and ISSUE for seven words
and seven bills. It only takes one ball to win $10,000,
and it'll happen if the ball says "52" on it. Alexis
with the hot hand... Lingo! That's $10,000 right there.

Trato
Hecho by

Air time: 12p ET/11a CT on Univision
Host: Guillermo Huesca |

Welcome to the first
recapped episode of Trato Hecho. I'll be letting you
know what's going on in the show. Though the show is in
Spanish, I will be recapping it for you in English.
We start it with a big chest in the middle of the room.
Evelia, who is dressed as a punk rock-looking pirate, is
selected. She trades her headband for the chest. Does
she want that or Curtain #2? Before she makes up her
mind, Guillermo selects Victor - another Pirate, telling
him that whatever she doesn't get, Victor gets. Victor
tells Evelia to go for the curtain, which she does, and
gets... a Mad Scientist's Laboratory, complete with
laboratory equipment, giant sized toothbrush, and a
stuffed cow. As the scientist brushes the stuffed cow
with the toothbrush, we are cha-cha-cha-ing to a Chasco!
So the pirate gets the chest. Will he be keeping it or
going for the Big Box? Before Victor makes up his mind,
Guillermo brings up Erik the soccer player, saying that
whatever Victor doesn't want, Erik gets. Victor wants to
keep the chest, so Erik gets the box...BUT Guillermo
gives him $400 to not go for it. Erik goes for it
anyways, and gets...a washer and dryer system worth
$1,098! Buen Trato!
But what about Victor and his chest? Guillermo offers
him the same $400 to bail out, but Victor wants the
chest. What's in the chest? A jar containing False
Teeth! Well, it's good if you were living as a pirate
back then, but in this case, it's a Chasco. The Pirate
leaves without much treasure.
Next up - Hawaiian woman Carmen trades in a lei for $300
- which she can give right back for $300, she could also
go for a certificate in his pocket. What would you do?
She passes on the curtain, which contains banana shoes (Chasco!)
and decides to go for the certificate from Home Depot,
which is $900! Buen Trato!
Keeping on the pirate theme, we have Francisco the
pirate and Lisette the Pajama Party Girl. Francisco
trades his cutlass and Lisette trades a scrunchie from
her hair for some Vitacilina (think Vaseline) - or a
check. Francisco keeps the check and sends the
Vitacilina to Lisette. Will Francisco trade the check
for Curtain #3? Yes he will, and he passes up a check
worth...$1,000! Ouch. We know that nothing good is going
to happen here for Francisco, who gets...the president
of Tratolandia - along with a podium and dummy wearing
some decent threads. (Chasco!)
Now Lisette can keep the Vitacilina or trade it for
Curtain #1 (where the lovely Renita is). The Vitacilina
has in it...$100, so Lisette made the right choice as
she gets instead - some nice cookware and a stove worth
$1,963!
The Gran Trato is over $5,000. Would Lisette trade for
it? Yes she will! Would Erik trade for it? Yes he will!
We have no pirates at the end, but we do have 3 doors.
Lisette selects door #2 and Erik selects door #3. We go
to door #1 first, and we show a barbecue and patio
furniture set, along with a pair of bicycles for a total
of $2,419!
No one won that, so someone won the Gran Trato. It's not
Erik, who gets door #3 and $750. Lisette is the big
winner, as we see that behind curtain #2 is...carpeting,
which would look nice with a new living room set,
complete with lamps, tables, and sofa. Total of the Gran
Trato? $5,272!
And with that, and after Guillermo trying (and failing)
to give out money for items in the audience, we end the
first recapped episode of Trato Hecho. See you tomorrow! |
