Lingo by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  7p ET/6p CT on GSN
Host: Chuck Woolery
Yellows: Roomies Lee (works for record company) & Josh (law student)
Reds: Friends Janice (registered nurse) & Tarra (teacher)

We've got letters, balls, Chuck, and ... some chick that likes to talk too much. Let's play game! Lee & Josh are up first with an N. That turns into NAKED for 25. They follow with QUILT. "How do you get from naked to quilt?" No idea, Chuck. Janice & Tarra steal MOVED for 25. Josh & Lee steal a GUESS, but Josh pulls a red stopper. Janice & Tarra get TRUCK on the front end, but a red ball on the back. The guys COAST to another red ball.

And we have another first in this new season, our first skunk-out. No longer is a word played until completion. If the opposing team can't get it on the bonus letter, the word is revealed and thrown out. In this case, DENSE. How apropos. Janice & Tarra make up for it with MONTH. They trail, 100-75 at the half.

After Chuck's 2-and-2 (which seemed more like 3-and-30), we're back with round 2. Janice & Tarra get a K, which becomes KINKY for 50. And Tarra comes up red again. "I feel like I'm in red stopper heaven... or red stopper hell." The latter, Chuck. Lee & Josh give BIRTH to a Lingo (finally!), giving them 250-125. Lee & Josh STAMP their way to victory, 300-125.

With two Bonus Lingo letters, Lee & Josh get BREAK, QUICK, VOTED, RIVER, ELOPE, ANNEX, and HEIST, as well as a long buzzer. Anyway, that's seven balls, but if they Lingo on the first with lucky 13, they win $10,000. Lee has it... he has... 21. Josh has the Lingo for $5000.
