Episode 3
August 4
Tonight on the program, Ant & Dec
recreate the climactic scenes of "Dude, Where's My Car?", a woman's shoe
fetish goes too far, and a guy who's a light kicker. No, seriously. He
kicks lights.
Tonight's Panel:
Former "DWTS" champ and the requisite games host of the panel Drew
Lachey (playing for American Cancer Society)
Actor Rondell Sheridan ("Cory in the House") (playing for Stuart
House)
Return tripper Melissa Peterman (playing for 1st Witness Abuse
Resource Center)
NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice (playing for DeBartolo Family
Foundation & San Francisco 49ers Foundation)
For Jerry and Drew, this is more than about money, it's about pride,
because guess who beat Jerry that season...
First challenger, from El Sobrante, CA... JAMES SOLIS. He's a student
who's also in the martial arts. He's got a black belt, and he's going to
kick out 60 ordinary push lights in 60 seconds. He hopes.

As a reminder, James fails if he misses a
light at time OR if his foot touches the floor. So 60 on the clock...
THE BET... IS ON!
And after 42 seconds, his foot touches the floor. And he was doing so
well. He had six lights he missed, too. So that is a fail.

Rondell leads after round 1. But there
are still three rounds to go.
Next up, from Bel Air, CA, ANNE-MARIE ASHLEY... and she's brought a lot
of shoes with her. She's a student and a former Miss Teen California.
She has well over 100 pairs of shoes. So far this year, she's spent
$20,000. Her challenge: identifying a shoe's designer simply by walking
in them.

And it should be noted that none of the
shows on display are Anne-Marie's. Okay, the blindfold... and the BET...
ARE ON!
First, #7, a pair of Christian Louboutins. Anne-Marie says ...
"Christian Louboutin." Next pair, #40, a pair of Betsey Johnsons.
Strappy... high... "Betsey Johnson". That's good for two. #24... another
pair of Betsey Johnsons. A little bit lower to the ground, though.
"Betsey Johnson again!" Three! Everyone's dancing on Rondell. One more.
Next pair is #53, Christian Lacroix. Sexy stilettos. "I think you gave
me another pair of Betsey Johnsons." NO! One more chance, though... #30.
This time... another pair of Betsey Johnsons. Pink. Lots of straps. "I
really think these are Betsey Johnsons!" That's win!
And Melissa makes off with a few pairs.

From first to worst, Rondell Sheridan.
Melissa is your new leader.
Next up, at 14 years of age, he's already a Junior Olympian (water
polo). From Lake Oswego, OR, JONATHAN FRIEDMAN. Jono swims a lot, but
his challenge doesn't require water. "I'm gonna stick spoons on my
face!" He thinks he can stick 10 of them on his face and hold them for a
five-count.

Those are ordinary spoons, and Ant can't
hold onto one. Two minutes on the clock... and THE BET... IS ON!
And after two minutes, the best he can do is seven. So that is a fail.
But for the record, he has done this before.

So right now, it's Jerry in the lead,
with Melissa not too far behind.
Finally, a team of lovely ladies that call themselves THE VALET BABES.
The LA valets usually deal with a lot of celebrities. They think that
they can retrieve Ant & Dec's car from a sea of black cars (here's a
hint, it's the Mini Cooper with the Union Flag on it).
That's the challenge, and the bets are locked. Remember, if they damage
a car OR if they fail to retrieve AND park the car, they will FAIL the
challenge. 2:30 on the clock... and THE BET IS ON!
The strategy seems to be, find the car, make a channel, and drive.
Strategy works, because with 18 seconds to spare, the car is on the red
carpet and locked as a SUCCEED.
Now let's see who's won the night.

Witness Abuse Resource Center in Minnesota will receive $43,000!
Back for more crazy stuff next week, we hope. |
