Episode 4 - November 12
Gordon: Welcome to another Vas O No Vas. This is Gordon Pepper.
Joining me tonight is Don 'Donut' Harpwood.
Don: I finally got to see a bit of the show the other day.
Gordon: And your thoughts?
Don: It looks cool.
Gordon: It's a lot of fun. Very flashy and show girly. Now last
week, we had a woman who left 2 cases - $100,000 and $250,000.
She won $180,000 and a new truck. Will this episode be a let
down?
Don: Hopefully not.
Gordon: We start the show with a recap of last week's big
$180,000 win, and we continue with the dancing Bamboletas - or
suitcase holders. But before we get to the bamboletas, we have
to get to the qualifying questions. Question #1 - Who is the
'King of Pop'? Answer - Michael Jackson.Winner - Ana Agosto from
San Juian, Puerto Rico
Don: Yay!
Gordon: Question #2 - What COuntry won the world cup in 1998?
Answer - France. Winner - GOnzalo Olivas from El Paso, Texas.
Does the name sound familiar? It should, because he was a
finalist on another episode of this show.
Don: Ah, interesting.
Gordon: On that episode, he won nothing. On this show, he...also
wins nothing, because Ana answers both questions on the 2 out of
3 question survival round.
Don: Aww.
Gordon: The Temptation Case this week holds...$5,000. Weak.
Don: Again?
Gordon: Again. Of course, Ana turns it down, and away we go.
BTW, for all of you who are wondering, Gonzalo lost to Catalina
Hernandez last time. Ana chooses Case #10. And here is the
board...

Gordon: We may, should he keep on getting questions
right. Right now, we need Ana to select nice low cases.
Ana's sister Maria is here to cheer her on. She starts
with #6, and we get... $30,000.
Don: Not the best start...
Gordon: Next up - #17, which is...7,500. Case #2
has...$10
Don: There we go!
Gordon: Case #15 has...$1!
Don: Sweet!
Gordon: The crowd is starting to get into a clapping
mood. Case #8...continues the clapping. $500. Gonzalo
has another chance to grab some money. Should he guess
what's in the case, he wins...A Ford F-150 Truck!
Don: Nice.
Gordon: Ana selects #12. G0nzalo guesses $2,500. In the
case...$25. So close. But a pretty good round for Ana.

Don: Alright.
Gordon: Next choice would have been #12 - and $75. Offer
would have been - $77,000
Don: Oh, boy...
Gordon: Case #3 had...$200. Offer would have
been...$126,000
Don: Eep.
Gordon: Now did they have the $250,000 - or did case #26
have it? Case #26, the case that they wanted and then
changed their mind had...$2,500. Ana had the $250,000
Don: Major ouch.
Gordon: Ana is stunned. Maria is stunned. People are
crying. $44,200 is nice, but Ana made a $205,800
blunder.
Don: Definitely shouldn't have changed from #26 to #14
earlier...
Gordon: Nope. Major error now. As consolation, Ana gets
to dance with the Bamboletas as we fade out.
Don: After last week, this was a bit of a letdown.
Gordon: Not only was it a letdown, but it was a big
letdown because we could have a $250,000 winner. I guess
the stopping too early thing lasts through all cultures.
Don: Yep.
Gordon: So that's it for this episode. For the Donut,
I'm Gordon Pepper, wishing everyone a good night and a
pleasant Game Over |

Twenty-six women control twenty-six briefcases,
each of which contains as little as a penny, and as much as $250,000. How much faith does a player have in the contents of
the cases? Only the banker knows for sure.
