Hola, amigos! This is the lovely Latino, Jason Hernandez. Today, I’m here to recap today’s “Fiesta del Reggaeton” at the Mega Match stage! Today, we have a celebrity version of the show as guest stars from Reggaeton on the show. Today, we have:

Valencia (yellow) vs. Miranda (green)

For the first game, each team gets 2:30 to get on a sliding carpet and hold the microphone from the roof and sing a Reggaeton song. The catch? The opposing team is making the carpet underneath the singing team sliding, and it slides very vigorously at times! The team that sings for the longest amount of time wins the game! Yellow did well, but green did VERY well as they seemed to get more singers on the platform. Here were the results:

The green team from Miranda wins the first minute!

Hang Tough! Basically, you have to knock the other person out on monkey bars with giant shoes. This game lasts 4 minutes. Wow, yellow is dominating in the first couple minutes, and it stays that way for the rest of the match. No contest, this was very one-sided.

Two minutes go to the yellow team, wow!

Boxing time! Basically, two people are sitting on a beam with giant boxing gloves! The object is to knock the other off. Most KOs at the end of 3:30 wins! This is actually a bit close for a while, but then the green team get off a flurry of knockouts in a minute, and they take the match.

Another minute goes to the green team closing the gap.

…and now, we have some music on the stage! Reggaeton performs their hit song, “Bailotear” in concert!

Pie round: Standard Q&A round. If you get a question right (or the other team talks), you earn 20 seconds. If you get it wrong, the other team gains 40 seconds! You’d better hope you get it right!

Green: 1 question right for 20; two opposing wrong answers for 1:20; and the two minutes from earlier for a total of … 3:40

Yellow: Yellow got 3 questions right for one minute; three opposing wrong answers for 2 minutes; and the other two minutes from earlier (plus 20 seconds from somewhere else) for a total of 5:20!

Big Fun House: The yellow team has 5 minutes and 20 seconds to get through the fun house, and here we go! MEGA MATCH! Wow, it took a couple seconds to open that first door into the balloon room, and he gets upstairs in only 25 seconds! However, he has trouble finding the key into the second room, and it takes him nearly 40 seconds to find the right key! He makes his smoothies, he downs the last one, and then finds the key into the nut and bolt room very quickly. He eventually finds the matching nut and bolt as it goes in the middle bolt. After that, he goes into the mannequin room on the FIRST KEY! He has over 2 minutes left right now! He dressed the live, human mannequin fairly quickly, and runs downstairs with over a minute left. He finds the key for the needle room in a few seconds, and puts the thread through all three needles with 20 seconds left! Hurry, hurry! HE FINDS THE KEY! He tries to find the key to start the motorcycle, but runs out of time! Aw!

The first game is tug-o-war? First team to reach four wins.

G, G, G, G – one minute. The green team easily sweeps this game.

Another LONG live concert follows!

Water game! “Los Aguadores!” Each team has three minutes to go across a platform to get buckets of water into a large container on the other side. The team with the most water wins. The green team is going slow and steady, and it’s working to their advantage today! The yellow team employs the same strategy, and it’s working for them, as well! This one looks pretty close, actually. Here are the results:

Green got up to 8, and the yellow team got to 8 ½ ticks! The yellow team barely wins that one!

Green: 3 responses for 1 min; 3 (40) for 2 minutes; plus 3:30 for a total of 6 minutes and 30 seconds!

Big Fun House: The Green team from Mariara has a whopping 6:30 to win it all! With that said…MEGA MATCH! Ay! It takes him 40 seconds to find the first key! He gets through the balloon room after being warned to sit on the balloons without using hands. After that, he thought he had the key, but it was a false alarm. It takes another 45 seconds to find THAT key! After that, he makes his drinks, and downs the final one REALLY quickly! He must have been thirsty. He moves on and finds the next key fairly quickly. However, he is having some trouble finding the correct nut and bolt combination, but finds it with about 2:45 left! It was the left bolt today. He then finds the next key right away, and now he’s picking up some steam! He dresses up the human dummy in women’s clothing with about 1:30 left, and he jumps down over the stairs to try and find the next key.

Once again, he is having great trouble finding a key, as it took him 30 seconds to get into the needle & thread room. He gets the thread… one… two…three! 30 seconds left to get into the next room. He finds the key to get into the moped room! First key, second key…he starts up the motorcycle JUST as time expired! On the replay, he started it up with a shade over a second left! He almost made it through the entire house. Of course, if he didn’t have issues with the keys in the first two rooms, he would have won the car. But, it stays put for another week.

Mariara School won a blender, mixer, iron; TV/VCR; Microwave/stove; fridge; a washer & dryer; and a spectacular motorcycle! Good job! This is Jason Hernandez saying adios!
