We pick up right where we left off. Heidi and Spencer are sitting out the Trauma Tank (They feel they are too rich and famous, while Heidi sprays some more of that stuff. I think she could be polluting the environment with that dry shampoo.) John Salley psyched out Patti Blagojevich, and that means Torrie Wilson vs. Stephen, Sanjaya and Lou.

Next element: WATER!, which allows the snakes bugs and maggots to move onto their bodies.

Lou Diamond Phillips nearly drowns in the tank as water goes through his nose.

The women lose as Torrie quits, leaving two men. Sanjaya v. Stephen.

Stephen decided to make it good for the team and quit before Sanjaya.

The Men get the immunity challenge, and the women's team is up for elimination in the public vote.

Sanjaya's bug-removal dance was funny.

There is a new bed in camp. This is the Leader's Bed! (Sanjaya thought it was for him for going through the trauma tank and win) Another perk of being Camp Leader.

After the break, Myleene talked about her experiences on the UK version of "Celebrity". She said the hardest thing was being away from home.

Angela, in confessional, admits to having problems with the jungle, especially in the dark. She has to use the Jungle John. I guess the Jungle's creeper than some of America's dangerous cities. She's also begun talking to herself and having mini-breakdowns. At least they are honest and not like Heidi and Spencer's! Angela, I really feel for you. But get through at least two days, and you'll be fine. She is getting support from her comic partner and friend Fran.

Oh bother, Stephen is going on his Born Again beliefs. Spencer is trying to listen, and Stephen offers to baptize him in the nearby river. Hm. I agree on that (Even though I am a Lutheran, meaning first generation protestant).

The next note comes in...

You must select a rep from each team to compete in the food trial, "Lost Chamber"

Spencer Volunteers, even though the group wants Sanjaya....It's Spencer v. Heidi.

Quotable: "I am gonna beat my wife. I can't lose at things!" --Spencer

So what is the Lost Chamber?

Winner takes all...Winner eats, loser goes hungry....Prize: Redfish, watermelon, etc.

Inside the chamber are 20 stars. Hidden absolutely everywhere. They have 3:00 to find the stars. Oh, did we mention the creepy crawlies and surprises? And the fact that it's in the dark. Of course they can quit by saying, "I'm a celebrity...Get me out of here!"

So Spencer goes first. The hosts agree that this isn't gonna be good.

After a recap of the rules, Spencer is locked in. The lights flicker and they go out. Cockroaches spill, and he says the phrase, but then reneges. Another splat....

Quotable: "I feel like I'm in hell right now" --Spencer

Spencer, in the last minute collects two stars...And a sockful of eel slime.

Now it's Heidi's turn. She dodges one pile of slime, and then dodges feathers. As the lights flicker on, she finds one star....how well does she do?

Spencer predicts 12....But only ONE star.

The men eat the fish and fruit, the ladies get rice an beans.

Myleene and Damien tease a major decision the guys have to make. Spencer is being a nasty fella, saying he would throw the fish back into the river. Spencer then threatens to leave again, to Janice's face. She says to him...

Quotable: "Go take a shower!" --Janice

Spencer exaggerates, calling the trial Torture and says,

Quotable: "I'm too rich, I'm too famous, I'm outta here."--Spencer

Spencer equates the rest of the celebs to the bad news bears...Jeez are his classifications mixed.

Spencer says, "Before I go, I'd like Stephen to Baptize me." Hey, no problem! John the Baptist baptized anyone who wanted it. After another theological discussion between Spencer and Janice, The cameras and the camp follow Stephen and Spencer to the river to pray.

Personal note: Now that Spencer is Baptized, I can quote the film "O Brother Where Art Thou" and say that he is now, officially, dumber than a bag of hammers!

Spencer and Heidi, prior to joining Damien and Myleene, have said for the 100th time, "We do not have what it takes, and we want to get out of here....fer real!"

Spencer and Heidi call themselves "Super-celebrities"....My foot! (See note below)

Quotable: "The Duo of Dumb has left the jungle!" --Frangela

"Let them go off to 'Heidi-Wood'!" --Janice.

Frangela agree to a $5.00 bet that they will not be back. John Salley believes that they will leave.

Spencer and Heidi leave, escorted away. Even Damien and Myleene are not sure that those kids are gone for good.

The twist is revealed: The guys have to chose one woman to be immune from the public vote.

The men huddle up to choose a woman to save from the public vote. Lou names Patti B. to be immune and safe for another week. (See opinion below)

NOTE: Reports from Access Hollywood state that after Heidi and Spencer returned to the Hills, they wanted back on the show. Another fake-out. Unfortunately, Heidi's sister, Holly is going to go save the family name, and play for Heidi's charity (Feed the Children). The same report says that Daniel Baldwin will join Stephen to replace Spencer. On NBC.com, the two are officially listed as "QUIT!"

Opinion: Third...Fifth....TENTH TIME'S THE CHARM! You wanted out, you got it. You cannot play the mind games on a reality show that way. Once you quit, you should be gone completely! I also think that the guys might've voted Patti B. to be saved due to her unplanned River expedition on Day Zero. She definitely earned an extended stay, if not to be away from all the stress her husband, Rob B. has dished out. As long as the show stays an hour, I'll be happy.
