Week 2R:
How Did You Get Picked Last in Gym Class?
March 17
Ah, what can I say? The results show. You
and a dance pro getting the red light treatment. For one of them,
it'll be that. Let's go.
Let's kick things off with Big Bad VooDoo Daddy getting a performance.
Has it ever been a decade when swing music got so popular? Anyways, we
get a report on Steve-O that the injury is a minor one and he expects
to return to the ballroom.
In random order for the first time the 4 couples safe are Lawrence,
Shawn, Chuck & David. More to be picked later on. On now to Macy's
Stars of Dance. If you spot SYTYCD alums Mark & Chelsea, pay
attention. Jewel is out to perform "Somewhere over the Rainbow" from
her new album. Maybe the couple vs. couple thing didn't work out.
Now we get a segment on the stars on their competition. Ever wonder
why Steve turned down Gilles Marini's role. Neither do I. But I do
know that Holly, Ty, Steve-O and Lacey. And that means, Belinda &
Steve, prepare thyself for your....DANCE-OFF!
(Tonight's Dance off is powered by Alphabetics cereal. For that
Password Plus feeling, get Alphabetics cereal today.)
Alright, here are the rules. Each couple must re-do the routine from
last night. Belinda & Johnathan go first. After a salsa re-do, We get
our scores:
CARRIE: 5
LEN: 6
BRUNO: 6
Dance-Off Score: 17
Now it's Steve & Karina's turn to re-do the quickstep, and we quickly
get a score update.
CARRIE: 6
LEN: 5
BRUNO: 6
Dance-Off Score: 17
If this were a tie, both would start over. but DWTS doesn't. That's
why we have an eraser. And..............Belinda & Johnathan get those.
One down and many more to go, fans, tune in next Monday as the 12 sole
survivors tackle the foxtrot or the samba. Whose grapevine is pulled,
and whose street smarts went to a dead-end? You'll have to find out.
Night, everyone!
