get on the board.
- Olympic Swimming for 20... Only Jared missed that one.

with 30, but Megan misses. She's at 20. Charlie, Crystal, and DJ
tie for the lead with 60 to Corrina's 50.

- Bottle Smash for 50... Crystal is still perfect! Corrina and DJ

Megan and Crystal are made into myths, leaving DJ and Charlie to

to win the match. Charlie... has to sit and hold. He, Megan, and
Crystal leave with a Southern California CityPass.
LEVEL 3: THE FINAL STAGE: The 4x4 stage is worth a Polaroid camera
pack, the 5x5 stage gets you a Diamondback bike. Do it all from
BrainSurge, and you're going to Circus Circus in Las Vegas! Little
under 67.5 seconds left on the clock for the 6x6. And there's the
win at 45 seconds! And here comes the slime! |

Jeopardy!

Host: Alex Trebek
On the Web:
www.jeopardy.com |
|
|
Gila Stadler
New York City
molecular epidemiologist
$3000 |
Andrew Fechner
Montclair, NJ
television programmer |
Diane Haltigan
Norfolk, VA
software engineer |
Thanks to some questionable betting
by her opponents, Gila wins the right to call herself a champion.
She goes with $200 Countries in Space to start us off. At the TV
timeout, she has $2600 to Andrew's $2800. Diane has half of
Andrew's total.
Gila leads with $4000 when she
finds the Daily Double under $1000 US Firsts. She tried to add
$1000 to that lead on this: the USA's first housing projects were
built in Austin in 1939 with the help of this congressman on the
rise. "Who is LBJ?" Correct for $5000! At the half, Andrew catches
up to her to tie with $6000 a piece, leaving Diane's $3400 to
start Double Jeopardy!...
... with $400 Oscar-Winning Song
Lyrics. Andrew finds the first Daily Double under $800 Mathletes.
He fronts $2000 on this: he thought, in math the last letters
should stand for unknowns & the first letters for known
quantities--therefore it was. "Who is Descartes?" If you picked up
on the clue-within-a-clue, you got it. Andrew... didn't. He loses
on Pythagoras, going to $6400. Diane finds the other under $1600
Shakespearean Rhyme Time. She bets $2000 on this: Prospero's
daughter's large Southern porches. "What are Miranda's verandas?"
Correct for $12,200! She goes to $13,000 to $15,200 for Andrew.
Gila has $7600.
Remember, if you're on the east
coast and you're an adult, you're testing tomorrow!
Final Jeopardy! in "Sports
Cities": it's the only city whose teams won the
Super Bowl & the Stanley Cup in the same calendar year.
Correct response: what is Pittsburgh (2009)?
Gila's right. Andrew... is right as
well! He wins $26,001! Gila leaves with $5000. |

Eric (Football Player) is the first
dealer to play this week on Let's Make a Deal. He gets $700 from
Wayne, that he can spend on 3 curtains: Trip for $300, Tech for
$500 or Wheels for $700. Or he can keep all of his money, which he
won't do - he goes for Wheels. Behind 'Trip': A Whitewater Rafting
Adventure worth $5,265. Behind 'Tech': a ton of busted computer
monitors (ZONK!). He's got some wheels unless he wants $500 from
Wayne. Eric wants the wheels, and he gets a new motorcycle worth
$4,583. So not a bad opener.
Next up is Watson (Gift) who gets to spell out a deal. We start
with 'C'. He can keep it or go with Curtain #1, and what he
doesn't want, Tanya (Peace Child). Watson thinks it's 'Cash' and
keeps it, so Tanya gets the curtain - unless she wants
$500...$600...$700...$800...NO DEAL! Tanya wants the curtain, and
she gets a junk office set (ZONK!). Next up for Watson... 'C-O'.
It's not cash. Its it a Corvette? Maybe. So Watson can bail out
for the Box, and what he doesn't want Karen (Mrs. Claus) gets.
Watson bails out for the Box, and he now gets Snowboarding gear
worth $2,230. Next up...'C-O-R'. Wayne offers $600, but Karen
thinks it's a Corvette. Wayne offers $600...$800...$1,000...NO
DEAL! Karen will keep it and gets. not a Corvette, but 'Corn' =
5,486 pieces of Corn (ZONK!) for Mrs. Santa. Ho ho ho.
Paula the peanut is next, and Wayne offers $100 for 3 uses of
peanuts. We stumble to get Peanut Butter, Peanut Brittle and
Peanut cooking oil, but she gets it. Cute segue.
Next up, Kelly the fairy (don't write me letters, he's dressed up
as a fairy). My may have flied in, but he can drive out in a NEW
SCION WORTH $15,470. Kelly has silly putty. If he guesses between
1950, 1955 or 1960 what year it was introduced, he wins the Scion.
Kelly says 1955, and he could have the car, but Wayne offers $500
to not go for it. Kelly will go for it. Is it 1960...no. So noy
Wayne offers $700...$800...NO DEAL! Kelly is going to go for the
car, and Kelly...is not going to win. It's 1950 and Kelly will
have to walk back to fairyland.
Wayne wants Sean's (radioactive worker from the UK) driver's
license. he gets it, gives Sean $900, then looks for 2 ladies. He
finds Katina (Partygoer in gold) and Pauleen (Egyptian Queen).
Which one comes closer to his age? Katina says 23, Pauleen says
24, and Sean is...22. That's $900 for Katina, unless she wants the
Big Box instead. She does and gets a broken down arcade machine (ZONK!).
Now back to Sean and his $900. He can spnd it on Curtain #3 and he
does, receiving a Beatles Digital Home experience worth $4,009.
Does Allison come with the video game package? No, but he's got
something UK-themed, which is ironically fun.
Wayne lets Jonathan select the next trader, and it's going to be
Douglas (incognito Blues Brother). He's playing with 4 decks and
playing for dining room furniture worth $1,875. Wayne has 4 pairs
of cards. One of them has an Ace and one has a Zonk. If he selects
it 2 out of 4 times, he wins the furniture. 3 out of 4 wins him a
Napa Valley Getaway worth $5,327. Selection #1...ACE! Selection
#2: ZONK! Selection #3: ACE! Now he can give the furniture back
for a shot at the trip. He will go for it! Final selection: ZONK!
No trip. No furniture. No love.
Wayne wants to give Yolanda a trip to Belgium worth $10,664! It's
another guess the year that something was introduced nationally,
but this time we have Lean Cuisine: 1981, 1984 or 1988? Yolanda
says 1984 and Wayne offers a $500 buyout. Wayne offers $500 and
she takes it. The Lean Cuisine was introduced in,,,1981. so a good
move for Yolanda.
It could be a better move for some people who want the Big Deal
worth $22,275. Let's see what we got:
TRADE LIST:
Eric: $4,583
Sean: $4,009
Watson: $2,230
Yolanda: $500
Paula: $100
Tanya: A Replication of Conan O'Brien's office after Friday night.
Karen: Ethanol for Santa's Sleigh
Kelly: Silly Putty Nightmares
Pauleen: Age issues
Katina: Attacked by ghost monsters
Douglas: Carded.
Will Eric fork over the motorcycle for a shot at the cash? Yes he
will, and he'll select Door #3. Behind Door #2: Retro Kitchen
Appliances worth $7,290. Behind Door #3...A new computer with a
photo studio worth $3,639. Behind Door #1: A FORD ESCAPE AND A
$1,000 GAS CARD WORTH $22,275! There's your big deal, which no one
gets. Tune in tomorrow to see if anyone gets it. |

We start the week off with the Forever
the Sickest Kids. No, I'm not trying to be mean, that's their band
name. Let's hope this doesn't make them sicker.

Caleb - 21 - North Richland Hills, TX |
Jonathan - 25 - North Richland Hills, TX |
Kent - 22 - North Richland Hills, TX |
|
Marc - 22 - North Richland Hills, TX |
Austin - 21 - North Richland Hills, TX |
Kyle - 24 - North Richland Hills, TX |
Round 1: $300 per task
- Internal Bust: Kyle gets to hang out in a balloon until it
explodes. We get a scream, but it wasn't loud enough to go into
the red zone. PASS
- Egg Rollers: Kent gets to munch out 5 egg rolls out of a woman's
hair in 30 seconds without using his hands. He doesn't even get 3
out before time expires on him. FAIL
- Captain Wheel: All Caleb has to do is stop a spinning
wheel...with his crotch. it probably would have gone a lot
smoother if Marc didn't push him into it. That makes Caleb yelp in
pain and put them over the volume meter. FAIL
TOTAL: $300
Round 2: $400 per task
- Toy Meal: Everyone except Austin get to eat spaghetti and
meatballs made of playing dough. The last time this challenge was
done, it was failed miserably. This time, the challenge doesn't go
over any better. FAIL.
- Little Leg Kick: Austin's turn to play. He gets to be kicked by
doll legs for 20 seconds. He manages to get through it. PASS
- Small Putts: A golfer tees off on Jonathan's body, then nails
him in the nads for good measure. They were loud, but not too
loud. PASS
TOTAL: $800 = $1,100
Round 3: $800 per task
- Unreal Chest: The good news is that Caleb gets punished by a big
breasted woman. The bad news; he gets slapped by her fake silicon.
They get into the yellow, but don't proceed any further. PASS
- Brush Belt: Kyle gets to roll down a conveyor belt that features
spinning wire brushes. Kyle takes the pain like a man. PASS
- Camp Fire Mix Up: Hot Chocolate, Marshmallows, Baked Beans, a
hot dog and a baked potato. They all sound good, but how do they
taste blended together? Not good enough for Marc, who yaks it
right into the trash receptacle. FAIL
TOTAL: $1,600 = $2,700
FINAL TASK: $1,000
Swat Team. Marc faces the Swat team, who comes in and pelts him
with fly swatters. There's red welts all over his body, but his
friends laughter ensures that he takes all that pain for nothing.
FAIL
FINAL TOTAL: $1,000 = $2,700
$450 per person *
* This is based on the TV Time. According to the disclaimer, the
contestants could have won more in unaired challenges, but this is
what we have to go on. |

Jennifer Cain (Brooklyn, NY) begins
the week with $5,000 and all 3 lifelines.
[$10,000] (Fashion Crazes)
In 1996, what film director started a fashion craze when he asked
the New Era company to make him a red New York Yankees baseball
cap?
A: Michael Moore
B: Steven Spielberg
C: Spike Lee
D: Martin Scorsese
Jennifer asks the audience, and 73% are thinking C. She trusts
them with 6 seconds on the clock... and they're right!
[$12,500] (CELEBRITY Q) - asked by Joy Behar
Cynthia Hampton was the "other woman" in a recent scandal
involving what high-profile politician?
A: Mark Sanford
B: John Ensign
C: John Edwards
D: Eliot Spitzer
Jennifer, feeling that she has it narrowed down to two, uses the
Double Dip. Her first answer is A... which is wrong. Her second
answer is B... which is right!
[$25,000] (World Leaders)
Just as Kim Jong-Il is known by the moniker "Dear Leader," in 2009
his son Kim Jong-Un was reportedly given what unique title?
A: Benevolent Communicator
B: Selfless Peer
C: Brilliant Comrade
D: Dynamic Uplifter
Since nothing is popping out at her, Jennifer asks the Expert,
co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend Edition, Kate Snow. She
