SHORT SHORTSHOT: Returning
champions Addison family have a chance to win a car if they can
win against the Datchers.
The Addisons were lucky that the #1 answer in the Triple Round was
answered and the other three were stumpers on the last survey to
send the game to sudden death.
Sudden death question: Name somehting a divorce couple cannot cut
in half.
Addisons ring in with the house, but they can kiss their chances
of a car goodbye, as the Datchers won it with the kids (70).
Margaret & Kelvin play Fast Money. Margaret could only get four
answers in the time limit and scored 90. Her son Kelvin needed 1
point on saying stock options on the last answer, but it was a
total goose egg! He should've thought about a stock pile, or maybe
stockings That heatbreak could only get them $995, despite getting
all the #1 answers.
Fast Money #1 answers
- Something expensive that now you wish you've never bought:
Car/Truck (Margaret)
- Something that gives you the chills: Scary movie (Kelvin)
- 1-10 how honest are most politicians?: 1 (Kelvin knows about
political dishonesty)
- Something a woman dreams of doing once in her lifetime: Getting
married (Kelvin)
- Something that starts with the word "stock": Stock market
(Margaret)
In the nightcap, returning
champions the Sudduths still have no luck in Fast Money, but hope
they can win another game when taking on the Fritts family. The
Sudduths had a chance to steal with #3 if they can name something
a mouse might be dragging along the floor. There was cheese/food,
mousetrap and another mouse, and they won it with its tail.
This time, they let Cecelia & Carolyn try their luck in Fast
Money. Cecela had good answers to get 129. Carolyn showed no
pressure but needed to come down to the last answer on people
prepare potatoes. She went fried and fell 3 points short. Had she
said mashed, they would've had it, but instead they get another
$985, $3340 total, but despite that heartbreak, they have a chance
to win a car in their final game on Wednesday. |

Our sports spectacular continues
with Mimi Alonso, who wins a GC from Aeropostale and a 3DS
package, Leela Erickson gets a nice jacket, because Metta World

gets the sweep tonight when it's revealed that Mimi THROWS PUNCHES
IN RING TO WIN BELT.
Metta's hidden talent: imitating a

game of Race to the Finish for $2000... a trip to Miami... and a
Toyota Corolla. She wins the $2000... but goes on and Zonks out.
Keith & Heather (leprechaun & Irish
lass) get an envelope. Keith rejects the envelope and the massages
inside for a diamond box. That gives them... a diamond pendant!
He'll keep it over a pair of motorscooters and a bounced check.
Scott (donkey) and Yolanda (DJ) are
playing Nine Checks. He takes check #6, she takes #7. Will Scott
trade for Curtain #1? He will, and $100 buys him a new bedroom!
Yolanda keeps her check, and a home theatre buys her... $500.
Joseph (Uncle Sam) is going to play
World Traveler for a wine lover's getaway to Napa Valley. All he
has to do is pick out how long it takes to get from LAX to SFO,
338 miles or 874 miles? 338... is CORRECT! He can trade that trip
in for another trip... to Panama! He will. So how long is it from
LAX to PTY, 900, 1308, or 3010? He says 3010... RIGHT! He could
trade THAT in for a chance at Antigua! He won't, though. For fun,
is it 1000, 2010, 3671, or 5110? He guesses 3671... That would've
been right.
Next up, Alyssa (cowgirl), Kyle (Quailman),

Curtain #1 and... a set of bathtub bunk beds (ZONK!). The guys get

Will he buy Curtain #2? He will not, so he gives up a 2013 KIA RIO
WORTH $14,350.
Meredith (bumblebee) has Five Questions. Jonathan Big Head says it
doesn't require a passport, it doesn't have more than three
wheels, and it's more than one item. Will she bail out with $600?
How about $1000? DEAL for $1000, passing up on dog food gummy
sushi (ZONK!).
Scott gets one more crack with the Big Deal worth $27,590! He
picks Door #3. Behind Door #2... a barbecue grill worth $2747.
Behind HIS door... a $9299 Sea-Doo. The Biggie was behind #1... a

Josh Gatewood (Knoxville, TN)
He wants to start a fried chicken franchise.
He builds his bank up to $10,600 before seeing this...
[Q6 - Literary Slang]
Referring to a fish with a flat head rather than the hairstyle,
what author used
the insult "mullet-headed" in his 1884 classic?
A: Mark Twain
B: Oscar Wilde
C: Charles Dickens
D: Jules Verne
Josh wants to know what the audience's brains are thinking. 50%
are thinking A.
He was kind of thinking C (16%), but with that vote, he's now
considering A.
He's not completely confident about it yet, though, so he uses the
Crystal Ball,
which reveals that the question is worth... $25,000! With that, he
decides to
lock in A... and the 50% are right! His bank is now up to $35,600!
It is up to $43,600 when he bats away the 9th and 10th questions,
missing out on
$10,000 and $15,000. That brings him to Classic Millionaire...
[$100,000]
What did sound effects legend Ben Burtt record to use for the
rolling boulder
scene in "Raiders of the Lost Ark"?
A: His dogs running down stairs
B: His kids playing in garbage cans
C: His car driving on gravel
D: His shoes in the clothes dryer
Josh has seen the movie, but he feels that it could be any of
those. After some
thought, he isn't so sure about A. He thinks some more, and
eventually, he
wants to go with D. He wants to pull out a lucky penny to flip it
and let that
decide whether he'll go for it or walk, but he doesn't have it on
him. He ends
up flipping a dip can that he did have; the result is that he goes
with D... but
it's C! As a result, he leaves with $25,000!
With time running short, Louise Minner (Green Lane, PA) is chosen
from the
audience to play a Halloween-themed question for $1,000...
The city of Monroeville, PA began an annual "zombie walk" in honor
of what 1970s
classic that was filmed in its local mall?
A: Halloween
B: Dawn of the Dead
C: Carrie
D: The Stepford Wives
Louise says B... and she's right for $1,000! |
