The Riley win another game after the Oguchis couldn't get the
steal on the #3 answer that was left on the last board, thinking
it was liver.
The Rileys make another change to let Taylor & Greg play Fast
Money. Taylor has some good answers, but the last two answers were
quite weak and scored 75. Greg had weak answers on his last three
answers, plus the answer that he goofed on about people forgeting
to go to work when they're super busy. The Rileys get another $715
for $1215 at least.
Fast Money #1 answers
- 100 married women, How many inches does your husband's belly
hang over his belt?: 1 inch (Taylor)
- Something dogs love to go to the bathroom on: Carpet/Floor
(Greg)
- The fastest growing state in the nation: California (because
it's the state with the highest population)
- Something that starts with the word "bikini": Bikini line
- Something you might forget to do when you're super busy: Eat
In the nightcap, the returning Rose
family will now play against the Brown family.
The Brown family couldn't steal and send the game to sudden death
on something disgusting a dog might have in his mouth. There was a
small/dead animal, poop and bone. They tried for underwear, but
the last answer was person/remains and giving the Roses another
victory.
Jessica-Lee & Danielle will try again for the Fast Money round.
Despite having a short overstay for a houseguest, she still scored
128 on her answers. Danielle couldn't think of another answer on
her first answer, but got 3 of the remaining #1 answers, not even
needing the last answer to win their $20,000 and giving them a
two-day total of $20,$925. |

Joon gets to defend for the first
time.
CHAMPION
Joon Pahk
Somerville, MA
college physics teacher
$28,800 |
Elaine Ricci
Houston
tutor & substitute teacher |
Megan Johnson
orig. Toledo, OH
attorney |
Joon starts with $200 Metals,
finding the Daily Double under $1000. Joon risks it all on this:
this metal used to make semiconductors was discovered by Clemens
Winkler & named for his homeland. "What is germanium?" Correct for
$3600! After a visit from the cast of ABC's "Pan Am", Joon leads
with $10,400 to Elaine's $5000. Megan has a grand and the first go
in Double Jeopardy!...
... with $400 Emmy-Winning
Guest Appearances, finding the first Daily Double under
$1200. She bets everything on this: in 2010 Neil Patrick
Harris won for playing Mr. Schuester's former high
school nemesis on this series. "What is Glee?" Correct
for $3400. Joon finds the other under $1600 Plus 8. He
fronts... "I'll bet it all." WHOA BOY. How nonchalant of
you. For $32,800 or nothing, the answer is... number of
days in a leap year times 2 plus 8. "What is 740?" This
game is so over, we need a new word for over! To
reiterate the point, Joon has $38,800 to Elaine's
$10,600 and Megan's $9000.
Kids Test goes online
TOMORROW.
The one day record, Alex...
is held by Roger Craig from last season. He built up
$77,000 on only the second day of season 27. Joon can
beat it tonight.
Final Jeopardy! in "European
Travel & Tourism": visited by 15 million people a
year, this spot in Britain honors an 1805 battle fought
elsewhere. Correct response: what is Trafalgar Square?
Joon gets it right for another
$50,800, giving him $79,600 for two! |

Tuesday dealing starts with Kristin
the tinsel girl, Jennifer the sunflower and Brittany the Cal Poly
nerd. Wayne has three envelopes. Two have $100 Checks and one has
$500. Brittany moves on by winning $500 and is going to play
"Check's In the Mail" for a 2011 Ford Fiesta SE worth $16,550! 8
Mailboxes, 2 Zonks, and one has the car. She picks 2, 4, 6, 8. We
start with #2...and it's a package with an Ipad 2 worth $499. She
goes on....she picks #6...and it's a ZONK card from Wayne..#4 was
a ZONK poster. #8 was a $2,000 check. #1 had the car.
Let's get the winning going with Mark the postman (with dogs
attached to him) and his buddy of 10 years Tony who is dirty
laundry. They have a box with a clue of BLING or a curtain #1 with
SPEED as the clue. They must make decisions together and each get
whatever the prize is. They keep BLING and pass up on SPEED which
is a Piaggio Fly 150 Scooter worth $3,489. Next is a curtain with
the word FIT. They keep BLING and the FIT...is not a gym...it's a
2011 Honda Fit Sport worth $17,630! OUCH. Now it's individual
decision time. Will they keep the BLING, $1,000 or curtain #3.
Tony and Mark each take $1,000. #3 was a GUMMI BEAR TRAP (ZONK).
But BLING was a ROLEX worth $5,000!
Next up is Dorothy who is HEADLIGHTS. She has Curtain #1 which has
something to do with the number 40. Wayne offers her $600, $800,
$1,000 and she takes the curtain which is a living room and a 40"
HDTV worth $4,029. Wayne picks Amy the flower girl and Jonathan
will give her a clue for the small box from Wayne's Diary. The
clue "I looked inside the small box and I could hardly believe my
EYES." Wayne offers $1,200 and she takes the money and she passes
on ZONK EYE Cream.
We want the winning to continue with three people. Holly the
Cowgirl, William the Pirate and Jennifer the dartboard. Wayne
hands each a $500 Check. Wayne offers curtain #1 and Holly buys
curtain #1 sight unseen thinking it's a car. It's not...it's a
home entertainment suite including a 46" LCD HDTV with a Bose
Entertainment System worth $2,499. Wayne gives William and
Jennifer another $500. They each have $1,000. William buys Curtain
#2 for $1,000 and gets a FLYING HOUSE (ZONK). Jennifer is given
$1,000. She has $2,000. Will she buy the big box? She keeps $2,000
and passes on a trip to St. Lucia at the Coconut Bay Resort worth
$7,091!
Sherilee the hippie is playing for a washer/dryer worth $4,136.
She is playing the four aces game. Four pairs of cards. If she
picks 2 Aces she gets the washer dryer, if she gets 3 aces correct
she will win a 2012 Fiat 500 worth $16,000. First pick is 1 and
it's the....ACE of Hearts. 2nd pair is #1...and it's a ZONK. Next
pair is #2 which is a ZONK. She can't win the car. But if she gets
it right, she can win the washer/dryer. She passes on the $500
Wayne offers and she picks #2 on the last pair...and it's an ACE
OF SPADES. She wins the Washer/Dryer!
Aubrey is pepper of Salt and Pepper. Wayne offers her a trip in
the envelope or $1,000. She takes $1,000 and passes up on a ZONK
Garbage Barge Cruise. Next is Deborah who gets $100 for every
pushup. She kind of does it...(cheating a little) but she gets 5
in for $500. Wayne reads from Jonathan's Diary. After a long
clue...it gets to "I peek behind Curtain #3 and find something
that can keep me organized. Wayne will add $500 to her $500 and
give her $1,000. She takes the money and passes on a home office
with furniture and MacBook Air worth $3,187.
Big Deal time worth $27,800! Sherilee trades her washer/dryer.
She picks #2. Behind #1 was a trip to South Carolina at the Kiawah
Island Resort worth $6,900! #3 was a home gym worth $2,579. Which
means she has the BIG DEAL which is a 2011 Toyota Matrix Hatchback
and a Little Guy Teardrop Trailer worth $27,800! Nice win! |
