Frankie
teacher |
Monica
mother of an 8-year-old |
Juego de
Palabras: we hear about "Batman", an animal, a toy, and nature.
The players get only two of the four words, giving Monica the
lead, 30-0.
Adivina Adivinador: would you take
a bottle of water over a black umbrella? Which is worse, sweeping
out Mickey Mouse or frying Chicken Little? Would you rather listen
to surprise voices or silence? The answers finally get Frankie on
the board with 20 to Monica's 70.
Frankie comes from nowhere in the Juego
Rápido round to win, 145-95.
Juego Del Tiempo: Frankie gets
"spoon", "alphabet", "signature", "nap", and... that's it. Sorry,
Frankie, but you'll be back tomorrow with $500.

It's day #2 of Small Business Owners
week, and after a delay of watching Big Business, we see that #1,
Angela Whitney is going to play. She's into interior design, and
she wants to be the next Martha Stewart. And as a reminder, the
$10,000 HP case is in play, which means that whoever has it wins a
$10,000 HP Package with small prizes. Angela will switch and take
Nissim's case of #3. And Angela wants to see what she gave up
immediately with #1...$75,000 #10 (Asheesh) - $25,000. #5 (Lizzie)
- $2,500. #15 (Summer) - $100. #21 (J.P.) - $1,000. It's not a
great round, since she knocked out the $75,000 and $25,000, but
she does get an $18,000 Offer. NO DEAL! 5 cases to open.
We start the 5 with #11 (Will) - $250,000. #8 (Carl) - PENNY! #20
(Marc S.) - $5,000. #6 (Mark A.) - $7,500. #4 (Nicole) - $500.
Only 3 cases from the left hand side have been selected, and only
4 big amounts left, so the offer drops to $15,000. NO DEAL!
And with that, Angela has to open 4 cases, a little scary because
there's only 4 big cases left. #14 (Tanya) - $1. #12 (Marie) -
$25. #18 (Annette) - $200. #22 (Zach) - $300. That's better.
$5, $10, $50, $400, HP Package, $50,000, $100,000, $500,000
OFFER: $29,000
It's a draw board, and with only 2 cases to select, she can't
knock all the big ones out. Shannon says No Deal. Angela agrees.
NO DEAL!
#2 (Erin) - $10
#16 (Bright) - $100,000. Boo.
$5, $50, $400, HP Package, $50,000, $500,000
The Banker is calling. Angela doesn't want to know if she wants to
even hear an offer. Howie makes us hear the offer anyways...
OFFER: $24,000
NO DEAL! 2 cases to open.
#17 (Raymond) - $400! Can't open both high cases up.
#19 (Danny) - HP Package! Danny wins $10,000 worth of HP Stuff!
and Angela is going to get a better offer.
$5, $50, $50,000, $500,000
OFFER: $43,000. Only 1 case to open. It's a draw board.
NO DEAL! 1 Case to open.
#7 (Shannon) - $5!
$50, $50,000, $500,000
OFFER: $87,000. Offer goes way up if she avoids the 500K. Offer
plummets if she finds it. Audience is mixed. Angela says...NO
DEAL!
#9 (Vasillia) - $500,000. Ouch.
$50, $50,000
FINAL OFFER: $18,000
Angela says...NO DEAL!
Wow. Angela is going all the way. Angela is leaving with....$50.
And we have a new low winner in Deal or No Deal. Howie did praise
her on her guts, but sometimes when you have too much of it, your
intestines spill out on the floor. We'll see tomorrow if anyone
can clean up the mess.
Nightcap! Kristen Wexler
is a teacher / housemom who's really into being green. She wants
to live off the land in Alaska for a while - and $500,000 will
help her take a sabbatical to do it. She has four cases left -
$10, $50, $100,000, $500,000.. and that eerily looks like Angela's
board. However, Kristen does NOT go for it and deals for $68,000.
Next case...$500,000. Great time to get out. Next case...$100,000.
PERFECT deal for Kristen, who had $50. Have a great time in
Alaska! So 2 of the same situations, but 2 different results. Join
us in 24 hours to see what the results for tomorrow brings. |

might avoid mentioning on a date with a.... That's Arthur? "He's
married." ... Number one! Rest of the question: .. with an
attractive woman. Rest of the answers that the Masons come up
with: kids, no money, and medical issues. Rosses try to take it
with age... Nope! Masons get 56. Other answers: past lovers,
ex-wife, prison record.
Round 2 (6): a specific place
mothers go when they need to get rid of their kids for a while.
Leslye gets #5, a nail shop/beauty salon. Megan gets #3, a day
spa. Caitlin gets the big one, a mall. Masons want to steal with a
friend's home... good for 109. Other answers: bathroom/tub,
bedroom.
Double (5): something teenagers do
in cars that their parents object to. Pete gets the big one, they
kiss (or make love). Challengers also speed, use the cell, play
loud music, and... missing one. Maybe the Masons have it. Is it
driving drunk? Yep. 273 to the champs.
Triple (4): a sport many people
think is barbaric. Football beats wrestling, 2 to 3, giving
Caitlin control. Rachel gets the big one, boxing. Hockey gives the
Rosses 279 and forces...
Sudden Death: something that might
happen if you refuse to obey your doctor. That's Jake. "He will
tell you that you're disobeying his order..." Nope. Shirley, it's
yours if you want it. "Well, you might just eliminate yourself."
That's one way of putting it. Masons win, 432-279.
Fast Money: Tricia & Damon take on
the big board for 109, giving them $545, $20,545 on two days. |

Wes came out of nowhere to inherit the
champion's lectern. Now how long will he keep it?
Wes Pierce
Anaheim Hills, CA
financial planner
$14,201 |
Matt Saxe
orig. St. Louis
fundraiser |
Tova Perlmutter
Windsor, ON
nonprofit executive |
Wes starts with $200 1990s
Pop/Rock. At the TV time out, Wes is starting a bit quicker than
he did yesterday, but still a bit slow with $1800 to Tova's $4200.
He's still getting used to the buzzer. Give him time. Meanwhile,
Matt's stuck on go.
Wes finds the Daily Double under
$1000 Colorado. He wagers $1000 on this: in 1870 this man helped
young men go west by sponsoring a Colorado farming colony. "Who is
Horace Greeley?" Correct for $4000. He's still $1000 behind the
leader, with $5400 to Tova's $6400. Matt with $2800 gets to even
things up as he starts Double Jeopardy!...
... with $400 Bible Bros, where
Tova finds the first Daily Double under $1600. She fronts $5000 to
catch up to Wes (or at least come close), who's been owning this
round. The clue: this biblical patriarch's brothers were Haran &
Nahor, & he was Lot's uncle. "Who is Abraham?" Correct for
$13,400! She can narrow the gap further with $1600 Medicine &
History. She fronts $3000 on this: generations of inbreeding
doomed this dynasty in Spain as Charles II was both witless &
childless. "What is Hapsburg?" Correct for $20,000 and the lead!
That's where she ends it with Wes hot on her heels with $19,800.
Matt has $4800 and can easily play spoiler.
Final Jeopardy! in "Peninsular
Nations": it's the largest country in the world without any
permanent natural rivers or lakes. Correct response: what is Saudi
Arabia (on the Arabian Peninsula)?
No one comes up with it, but Wes
plays cautiously to win $19,599, giving him a two-day take of
$33,800. |

Boogaloo continues...
Mike "The Mouth"
Matusow
$25,000 |
Phil Hellmuth
$6000 |
Mike Sexton
$15,000 |
Jennifer Harman
$18,000 |
Gavin Smith
$33,000 |
Paul Featherstone
$23,000 |
BLINDS: $200/$400 |
Three handed flop comes up 9-7-5.
Paul with 5s already flops a set. Mike's got a double gut shot
straight draw with a trucker in fancy dress (10-4d)... which he
lays down. Turn: Qc. Gavin with J-8c also has a double gut shot
and a club draw. River: Jh. Pairs don't win this hand, as Paul
makes a big move, $10,000 into the pot. Gavin does some serious
and we do mean serious thinking. And then... he folds. $19,400 to
the amateur with the hot hands.
Five hands into a flop: 8-A-10. Set
of 10s for Phil. That's enough to chase everyone out for an easy
$3000.
Paul makes an assault on the chip
leader to end the night with 6-4c to Gavin's Q-7. Flop: 3-5-5.
Paul's sitting on a pair with an open-ended draw. Turn: Qh. Gavin
hits a pair on the turn. Paul bets. Gavin calls. River: 3c. Gavin
takes $7800, and we're going to call it a night for now.

She gets to use that on a trip to Scottsdale, AZ if she knows
