Randall knocked off a giant-killer (the latest in a long line of champs to do so) and returns to defend.

Randall Eng
New York City
composer
$28,001
Holden Toplin
Philadelphia
graduate student & actor
Gail Sneyers
Myrtle Beach, SC
administrative assistant

Randall starts with $200 Show Biz Oaths & Exclamations, leading at the TV timeout with $6200 to Holden & Gail's $1200 each.

Gail finds the Daily Double under $800 British Royals in the Military. She makes it true on this: in 1982 Prince Andrew flew helicopters during a war against this country. "What is Argentina?" Correct for $3600! She gains a bit to $3800, but with Holden at $5000 and Randall at $8200, she's going to have to start up Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 Before & After Goes to the Movies, finding the first Daily Double under $2000 "Man"-ly Lit. She bets $3800 on this: in a pamphlet Thomas Paine wrote about government founded on "The Indefeasible Hereditary" these. "What are 'The Rights of Man'?" That... is correct. Unfortunately, Gail twists it around to drop to $2400. Randall finds the other under $1600 Before & After Goes to the Movies. Randall bets $6000 on this: Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee Jones & Javier Bardem go to Alaska to get love advice from Anne Heche in this movie-TV hybrid. "What is 'No Country for Old Men in Trees'?" Correct! And a giant sigh of relief as he pushes to $15,800. He leads going into the final with $22,200 to Holden's $14,600. Gail can still win with $8800.

Final Jeopardy! in "Olympic Cities": this city's Olympics were exactly 200 years after the death of the British Cabinet secretary it was named for. Correct response: what is Sydney, Australia?

Gail's right. What about Randall? No! Did he at least bet enough to win? Nope. He tried to outpace Holden. Gail called him on it, and as a result, she's the champ with $15,200. Randall leaves with $30,001.

Poker After Dark: The Cash Game
by Chico Alexander

Air time: 2:05a/1:05c on CBS
Hosts: Leeann Tweeden & Oliver "Ali" Nejad
On the Web: www.nbcsports.com/poker

Last night, the cash game began....

Tom "Durrrr" Dwan
online poker player
$270,000
Phil Hellmuth
11-time bracelet winner
$53,000
Mike Baxter
hedge fund manager
$155,000
Allen Cunningham
5-time bracelet winner
$294,000

businessman, founder of Cirque du Soleil
$255,000
David "Viffer" Peat
online poker player
$123,000
BLINDS/ANTES: $200/$400/$100

Everyone's in with a flop of A-2-3. Allen with A-10 leads with Mike's Q-2 not far behind. Tom has a steel wheel draw, as does David, who opts not to play. Tom raises. Allen lays it down, and Tom picks up $33,000 and change.

Guy plays A-Q against Tom's 10-8. Flop: 10-6-4. Tom makes 10s. Turn: Qd. Guy catches up with queens. River: Jc. Guy bets $25,000. Tom lays it down, and Guy picks up $67,800.

It's Jacks for Tom against 9s for Allen. Flop is 6-J-8. Tom flops a set. Turn: 10s. Allen has the open-ender to go with his pair. Tom bets $47,700... Allen folds, and over $116,000 goes to Tom.

Next move for Tom involved his 9-7d against a K-10 for Mike. Flop: 5-8-5. Turn: Qd. Tom makes his flush, and Mike is drawing absolutely dead, raising for play action. River: As. Durr insta-call and wins with a diamond flush, $107,600.

Phil plays 10-9h against Mike's Kings. Flop: 3-9-3. That gives Mike top two-pair. Turn: 8d. Mike still holds the lead. River: 7h. Safe looking card for Phil, but Mike's going to bet at it with top two pair.  He wins $61,800.

Phil would get 5s against Allen's 10s. The flop would trip both: J-10-5. And Phil is all-in. Turn: Qh. River: Jc, and Allen takes $41,900 with 10s full. Phil makes history as the first person in the PAD Cash Game to go broke. Will he reload? That's a yes for $100,000. Hopefully he won't lose it next time.

The last Tuesday at the Price for a while, and the President wants to talk.

Too bad. Breelyn Burns, Ryan Bartlett, Fatira Branch and Jose Salas want to play. It starts with a home gym worth $2199. Ryan gets to Make His Move for a boombox, a bar cabinet, and a sailboat. The lineup: 7 5 9 6 7 0 6 5 0. He goes with $50 for the boombox, $759 for the cabinet, and $6706 for the sailboat. Aaaand... nothing. The boombox was $70, the bar cabinet, $650, and the $7596 for the sailboat.

Breelyn gets an $899 sofa. Can she Stack the Deck for a Chevrolet HHR? The deck: 8 2 9 4 3 7 1. First up, Aspercreme & Clorox bleach. Which is $6.79? She goes with the Aspercreme... Got it. Next, Francesco Rinaldi pasta sauce and Gold Bond cream. Which is $1.99? Is it pasta time? Yep. Now for the Fisher mixed nuts and a Jif extra crunchy peanut butter. Which is $6.49? We're going with the non-buttered nuts... And we're right. So we have a price so far of $18,7__. This is going to be a tough choice... but she goes with $18,743... It was $18,729.

Fatira wins $500 from a $1300 pool table. Now she tries to Freeze Frame for a hot tub. She stops it at $3014... Not even. $7213.

We end the round with no winners, but Ryan spins out 60 to win at the Wheel. Ashley Aitken gets a $1665 bass guitar. Now she tries to guide Hans under the Cliffhangers mountain for a patio group and grill. First, $20 for a disco ball? Nope, $11 for nine steps. Batter dispenser, $45? Try $36. We're up to 18 now. Ashley just goes with the crowd and says $40 on a CD/DVD repair kit... $45! That's enough to win.

Jana Platt gets a $2700 charm necklace. Now she'll put her flip-flops to use in Race Game for a pair of bikes, a freestanding waterfall, a dinette, and a computer. The prices: $600, $1000, $1495 and $1927. She goes $1000, $1495, $600, and $1927. One right. Switch the first two... It says one, but it's really two. The middle two... one, the $1927 computer. BUT! Because of a technical error on the number in the second pass, we're going to do the right thing and give her all four prizes!

Jose, though, has no such luck and will have to rely solely on his wits to win a pair of surfboard. The price: $1330. Winner... Beri Cooper. She plays for a Ford Ranger in Range Game. She stops the rangefinder at $16,417... and the price... $16,440! A win!

We had one half losses, and one half wins. Ashley will head to the Showcase because of her impressive spinning... well, not really, but she did have the high score and the top winner honors. First up, a bedroom group with sleep set, car products, and a Dodge Caliber to use them on. Top winner Ashley bids $28,000. Ryan waits for a call from Amber's boyfriend on her iPhone... while she thinks about a Tahitian cruise and a Ford Escape Hybrid. Ryan bids $30,000. Actual price: $47,367, a difference of $17,367. Ashley's Showcase... $24,625. She's over, and Ryan wins $49,566 in stuff!

And then, there were two...

Tonight, we turn things around with a single female and the male music makers who want to be the dreamers of her dreams...

Karin
wants a cross between Jay-Z and Adam Levine
Chuck
24
bass player
Trends
27
rapper/MC/music teacher
Sean
21
singer/guitarist/bartender

Starting out with the playlist round: "Hurt", "Thnks fr th Mmrs", "My Boo", "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)", "She Bangs", and "My Band". First Center Stage Challenge: writing a short blues song about how lonely you'd be without Karin. We'll see how these blues will factor into the elimination soon enough.

Now to the Video Playlist: "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley, "Get the Party Started" by Pink, "Around the World" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, "If I Had Eyes" by Jack Johnson, and "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera. Center Stage Challenge: Air Guitar Hero. After that, we get the final results of the audience poll... Chuck leads with 70% of the crowd, while Trends only has 4% of the crowd behind him. He blames his blackness. Jared: "I'm black, and I'm running the show, baby." Time to go solo... Will it work? Yep. Chuck gets his walking papers...

Final stage performances include "Dracula" from Sean's band the Dagger and "Come on the Dance Floor" from Trends. Who gets the first date to a New York City concert? That's going to be... Trends? With only 4 percent of the audience vote? Well... good luck.
