Lonnie & Christine |
Chris & Roslyn |
TODAY'S SECOND HONEYMOON
Barbados (Almond Beach Club & Spa) |
5-point round, to the men:
- "While I'm pretty sure my wife doesn't fake it in bed, I do
wonder if she is faking it when it comes to her friendship
with..."
- What's the one good habit your wife tries to commit to, but
never really does?
- What is the naughtiest thing your blushing bride has done in the
bedroom that has you thinking that she's the Queen of Kink?
Patrick & Michelle take the lead
with 10. And... those are the only points in the round.
10-point round, to the ladies:
- They say the tongue is one of the strongest muscle of the body,
but which muscle on your husband's body is the second strongest?
- "If I've asked him once, I've asked him 1000 times, but if he
admits it here on 'The Newlywed Game', maybe I can finally get my
husband to stop...."
- Would you & your husband most benefit from... separated beds,
separate bathrooms, or separate TVs?
Chris & Roslyn sweep with 30.
Lonnie & Christine have 20. Patrick & Michelle skunk out with 10.
30-POINT BONUS QUESTION: "When
we're mating, the animal my husband most reminds me of is a BLANK,
but when he's sleeping, he reminds me of a WHAT".
Patrick says tiger/bear. Bear is
not enough to win. Lonnie says anaconda/bear. PERFECT for 50.
Chris & Roslyn need both to win. He says dog/bear... Bear is NOT
ENOUGH! Lonnie & Christine win! The others take away a GC to
Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
In the nightcap, Diondre & Wanda,
Dave & Joanne, and Alex & Marcie enter, but only one will leave
for Jamaica. The 30-pointer: What letter grade would you give your
husband on his first oral exam with you, and what grade would he
get for his recent. The ladies say As. Alex & Marcie are
mathematically eliminated. Diondre says A-plus twice... Good for
40. Dave & Joanne need one A to win. Dave says... B/A. That's the
one! The others leave with a Cuisinart food processor. |

Charlie Wiley (Wallingford, CT) -
Graduate student. He always carries a lucky penny with him. Of
course, he brought it with him to the show.
[Q1 - Alien Beings]
Before TV viewers were obsessed with the Kardashians, sci-fi fans
followed the Cardassians on what show?
A: Stargate SG-1
B: Battlestar Galactica
C: Star Trek: The Next Generation
D: Babylon 5
Since he couldn't watch much TV while growing up, Charlie asks the
audience. 43% say C, with 27% saying B and 21% saying D. He goes
with C, and that is right, putting into his bank... just $100.
He eventually jumps the 6th and 7th questions, which had $5,000
and $2,000, respectively. He does have $57,100 when he faces
this...
[Q8 - Inventing Names]
What inventor wrote an article for National Geographic on lizards
and turtles under the pseudonym "H.A. Largelamb"?
A: Benjamin Franklin
B: Alexander Graham Bell
C: Thomas Edison
D: Henry Ford
Deciding not to risk what he has, Charlie walks with $28,550! The
answer, by the way, is B.
Carla Curtsinger (New York, NY) was originally from a small town
in Kentucky (Fancy Farm), which has about 400 people.
She jumps the 1st question, which had $10,000. She has $3,000
going into this...
[Q4 - Backup Coin]
Due to a copper shortage during WWII, pennies made during 1943
were given what nickname?
A: Tinnies
B: Bronzies
C: Steelies
D: Brassies
Carla turns to the audience, and 37% are thinking A, with 30%
thinking C, 19% thinking D, and 14% thinking B. With results like
those, she jumps this. The answer is C, and she won't get...
$15,000.
The $3,000 from the 5th question gives her a total of $6,000
before this pops up...
[Q6 - Nuts About Animals]
One of the few animals able to crack the extra-hard shell of a
Brazil nut, an agouti is a South American variety of what?
A: Reptile
B: Bird
C: Rodent
D: Monkey
Carla tries to remember what she could about Brazil nuts, and it
causes her to lean towards B or D. She ends up saying B... but
it's C! That means she leaves with $1,000. |
