I've Got a Secret by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time: 11:30p ET/10:30p CT on GSN
Host: Bil Dwyer
The game our older readers grew up on is back for a new generation. The rules are the same, but the big prize is a bit bigger, $1000 and dinner for two in Beverly Hills. Big... yet old school...

First player in the history of IGAS2K6: Laurie Lomeli, a restauranteur from Gardena, CA. Her secret... "I'm a hula hoop champion." This is a "blindfolds on" secret, because Laurie is demonstrating her secret while she's answering the question. Jermaine is stumped, although he does get the "physical strength" aspect. Suzanne is completely stumped. Frank gets a prop as a household item (what we would call a qualified yes). Billy revisits the physicality and gets the "champion" part... but that's it. He's damned close with "jump rope", though. So Laurie gets the money and the dinner... and we get to see her in all her hula-hoop glory... well, not all of it. She says she can do 82. We only get about five.

Next player: You know him from "Family Guy", but he was the first (and for many, the only REAL "Batman")... Adam West! His secret... involved doctoring of his body somewhat. Suzanne gets that it has something to do with Batman. Frank gets that it is not a tattoo. Billy gets that it wasn't an injury he got, nor was it something he chose to do, but it was cosmetic. Jermaine gets that it's a symbol of some sort

The secret? "I have the Batman symbol on my tooth."

We've got one more secret courtesy of Alex Mooney, a student from LA. His secret: "I can break pencils... using my butt cheeks." Frank discerns that his talent is a feat of strength and endurance. Billy gets that he doesn't lift or consume anything. Jermaine gets most of the secret: he's breaking something with his "boom boom". Now it's on Suzanne to get what that something is. She can't. They get one final counsel... and no, it's not a walnut. Bil gives it to the player. And Alex gives it to the panel as he indeed breaks something off with his .... And Bil's new catch phrase: "Holey moley!"

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Brian Lamb (middle school teacher from Bakersfield, CA); $39,201; two days
Bob Mesko (arts administrator from Denver)
Holly Owens (student orig. from Tulsa, OK)

If Bob looks familiar, he was a three-time champ earlier this year. He returns on a technicality.

Brian starts with $200 TV Supporting Casts. At the TV time out, it's the returning champs that are owned by Holly, as she comes out with $4400 to Brian's $600 and Bob's $2600.

Brian finds the Daily Double under $600 Ride Without a License. He bets the max of $1000 on this: in 1980 2 Minnesota brothers formed a company to make these as an off-season hockey training device. "What are Rollerblades?" Right for $1800. Holly still leads it at the half, $6000 to Bob's $3600. Brian, with $3400, starts Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 Mystery History. Brian finds the first Daily Double under $800 Coffee Table Books. With only $2200, he goes for broke.. almost, with $2000 on this: "Intimate Portrait of a Very Good Year" is devoted to photographs of this singer in 1964. "Who is Frank Sinatra?" Right for $4200. Last category in play is US Govt. Abbrev. Last clue goes to Holly. She gets to bet $2200 on this: sort of like the Peace Corps, only local: VISTA. "What is... I have no idea?" Volunteers in Service to America. She drops to $12,600, but she still leads Bob's $9600. Brian can play spoiler with $5400.

Final Jeopardy! in "Leading Men": 1 of 2 actors who have earned acting Academy Award nominations in the last 5 consecutive decades. Correct question: Who is Jack Nicholson or Michael Caine?

No one gets it right, and Holly, trying to sew up the game, concedes to Bob, who now increases his total J! take by $6599, to $49,998 for four games.

Lingo by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  7:30p ET/6:30p CT on GSN
Host: Chuck Woolery & Shandi Finnessey
Friends Brian (occ. unknown) & Jason (forensic type analyst)
Friends Amber (assistant film director) & Charlotte (interior designer)
BONUS LINGO JACKPOT: $18,000

The jackpot's continuing to grow until someone wins it. .... or until Chuck and Shandi decide to split it for themselves.

Brian & Jason start with an S, while Amber & Charlotte steal a SHEET. Brian & Jason return the favor with CHIVE, followed by a FROCK, DOUBT, and the Lingo for 125 to Amber & Charlotte's 25.

Amber & Charlotte get an N, but Brian & Jason steal NAMED, but Jason comes up red handed. Amber & Charlotte capitalize with BATON, but Amber gets a stopper. Yellow leads, 150-50 at the half.

After a new interactive bumper featuring our resident Lingo lady in waiting, Amber & Charlotte RALLY from an R for 50. They follow with OPIUM to tie, then CREST, and then Lingo for 300 to the guys' 150.

Brian & Jason get a T for TRACE for 50... but Amber & Charlotte steal SINUS for game and match, 350-200.

With two Bonus Lingo letters, Amber & Charlotte get PHOTO, CLOWN, SLIDE, DEALS, and MADLY for $500 and five balls. Today's money ball? 52. Amber's got it. She draws.... 8. So tomorrow's Bonus Lingo is worth $19,000, but this one is worth... $5000 on the last ball!

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
It's a new week, so we're starting fresh on this Easter Monday!

Starting things off today is Jim Whipple (Irving, TX). He happens to be a big fan of Meredith; so much so, that he admits to watching The View! (I bet with the recent news, though, he may not be watching it much longer.) With that in mind, Jim starts by knowing that armoured cars are often used to transport cash (though Red Sox fans may need one while in New York). He sweeps the lower tier, then along the way through the middle tier, he faces this question...

[$8,000]
"Pain perdu" is the French term for what food?
A: French dressing
B: French fries
C: French toast
D: French dip

Jim decides to ask the audience, and while the studio poll favours C (59% of the studio audience; 32% of the AIM users), the AIM poll barely favours D (23%; 35%). Jim then decides to call his mother, Sharon, who says it's C. Jim trusts his mother, as well as the studio audience, and goes with C... and they're right! He then completes the middle tier, knowing that after his 2005 trial, Michael Jackson reportedly spent weeks in Bahrain, and Jim has $25,000! He then has this to ponder...

[$50,000]
Approximately how long is each side of a square plot of land that measures one acre in area?
A: 209 feet
B: 309 feet
C: 409 feet
D: 509 feet

Jim isn't sure, so he switches it out. After seeing that it was A (which he wouldn't have guessed), this pops up...

[$50,000] (Q)
Which of these countries does not have an element on the periodic table named after it?
A: France
B: Italy
C: Poland
D: Germany

The 50:50 leaves B and D. Jim guesses D... but it's B! Well, at least he has $25,000!

Next up is Jazmin Cassio (Chicago, IL). She didn't sleep at all the night before, due to nerves. But she doesn't get much sleep anyway, due to being a bartender, so it's not too bad. She's feeling a bit better now, since she's ready to play for a million bucks. Jazmin starts by knowing that a statement commonly used as a warning about the dangers and pitfalls of the modern world is "It's a jungle out there" (though I'd hate to see someone ignore the statement "Don't eat yellow snow"). Along the way, she gets to this...

[$1,000]
Founded in 1926, what is the name of America's oldest discount mail-order bookseller?
A: Book-of-the-Day Club
B: Book-of-the-Week Club
C: Book-of-the-Month Club
D: Book-of-the-Year Club

Jazmin asks the audience, and both polls lean towards C (88%; 55%). Jazmin trusts them... and she has $1,000! A couple more questions later, and this comes up...

[$8,000]
Published in 2005, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is which book in the seven-book series?
A: Fourth
B: Fifth
C: Sixth
D: Seventh

Jazmin calls her cousin, Eric, and he says C, though he's not sure. Jazmin then uses the 50:50, which leaves C and D. She goes with C... and she's right!

And there's the horn. Jazmin will continue playing tomorrow.
