100 Mexicanos Dijeron by Jason Hernandez, GSNN

Air time: 8p ET/7p CT on Telefutura
Host: Marco Antonio Regil
STAY TUNED...

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Michael Falk (meteorologist from Milwaukee); $36,602, two days
Stacy McKnight (nanny from Fairfax, VA)
Peggy Till (teacher from Arlington, TX)

So far, it's been clear with a 70 percent chance of ownage from the champion. But what will the five-day outlook look like now that Peggy and Stacy are in the picture?

But first, Alex notes that some of today's clues will come from stories covered by its partner in crime, the New York Times, so "if you have a need to know, you're going to be happy in this half hour." Very subtle, indeed.

Back to Michael, though. He starts this game off with $200 New York Times Historic Headlines. After a sojourn in the red, Michael comes back to lead at the TV time out, $3200 to Stacy's $600 and Peggy's $1800.

Michael finds the Daily Double early under $600 A La Cart. With a $1000 lead, he bets $2000. The clue: appropriately, Dr. Watson gets a ride in a dogcart in this novel. "What is 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'?" Right for $7000. That turns into $8800 at the half, while Peggy goes to $5000. Stacy, at $3000, gets to play the board first in Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 In the Dictionary, where she finds the first Daily Double under $800. She goes for second with a $2500 bid. The clue: this military rank comes from a French phrase for "place holding". "What is lieutenant?" She's got second with $5500. Later, Michael finds the second Daily Double under $2000 The Elements. He bets, of his stash, $5200, on this: the Venus' Flytrap catches & digests insects mainly to absorb this element. "What is carbon?" Nope, it's nitrogen, leaving him with $9600, still in the lead. He retains that lead with $16,800 to Stacy's $8700 and Peggy's $11,400 going into the Final. Wagering will very much play into this.

Go to Jeopardy.com if you have a kid who wants to be on the show. Kids Week auditions will be underway soon.

Final Jeopardy! in "Business & Industry": in July 16, 1995, this company made its first sale, a science textbook. Correct question: What is Amazon.com?

Peggy ... is right, betting only $3600. Michael is right also, meaning he'll return to finish the week with $22,801 today and $59,403 for three days.

Lingo by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  7:30p ET/6:30p CT on GSN
Host: Chuck Woolery & Shandi Finnessey
Friends Kareem (shoe designer from Inglewood, CA) & Liris (web merchandiser from Baltimore)
Couple Jen (financial consultant from Chicago) & Josh (computer programmer from Coral Springs, FL)
BONUS LINGO JACKPOT: $11,000

Another $1000 goes into the Bonus Lingo kitty tonight.

Kareem & Liris get the first word; it begins with M. They misspell, meaning it goes to Jen and Josh. They get MOUSE for 25... and Lingo right off the bat for 75 total. Back to Kareem & Liris we go...

... with a P. And... they run out of time. Jen & Josh get PRIME for 25 more. Josh then draws red. Back to Kareem & Liris. And they miss it... again. Jen & Josh say UNCLE for 25 more. And that's another Lingo! They have 175, and we haven't even gotten to the first commercial break...

Reds get a new board, while Kareem & Liris get a C... which they lose. Again. They get it back with a CAUSE and 25. They follow with WITCH. But Liris draws a stopper. Jen & Josh capitalize with SPURT. They'll go into round 2 with the lead, 200-50.

Kareem & Liris get an M to start round 2. They MATCH for 50. And Kareem does the robot. Liris draws the ? for Lingo to tie the game at 200.

Jen & Josh get an A to start their run... It's an APPLE. They gets a ? for a Lingo, giving them 300 to the Reds' 200.

Kareem & Liris get a T, but lose it on a misspell. Jen & Josh are TIMID for 50 more, but they lose control on a time-out. Kareem & Liris... steal... wait, no, he misspells! Jen & Josh pick up RIFLE for another Lingo, giving them the game, 550-200.

Walk it off, Kareem. Walk it off.

With five Bonus Lingo letters, Jen & Josh get CRATE, FLUNK, EIGHT, GAMES, BLAND, SHOOT, and ROOMY for seven balls and seven bills. Today, 44 means $11,000. Josh gets... 46. But they have six chances at $5000. They only need two.

Tomorrow, who wants to win $12,000?

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS (markets may vary)
Host: Bob Barker
How the heck would you like a garden shed? Jerry Dixon, Preston Shimway, Brooke Peterson, and Joyce Sherrod get a chance to win the $1269 prize... but Preston actually wins it. Now he has to Freeze the Frame for a trip to Santa Fe. He freezes it at $3569... and that's right!

Brooke wins a $1000 sofa in round 2, and a chance at $10,000 playing the Grand Game. The products: Capzasin P, Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup, Super Poligrip, Citracal Plus, Windex cleaner, and Cat Chow. The target: $6 even. She goes with the soup first... 99c! She goes with the cleaner next... $3! She goes with the calcium... It's calcium, it has to be more than $10... and it is. $10.97. At least she has $100.

Nathaniel Allen gets Ten Chances after winning four gold bars worth $2089 (at March 21, of course). The prizes on offer: A jewelry box, a karaoke, and a Ford Focus! Numbers in the jewelry box: 9 5 0. He goes with $50. Boom. Win. He takes five chances for the karaoke (numbers: 6 0 9 8), two of which were the same guess, before he writes $960 for the win. That leaves him with four chances for the car, with 9 0 1 7 8 to work with. $18,709? NO! $78,901? HELL NO! It's not $17,980 or $17,890 either. It was $18,790. But at least he got into the Showcase thanks to a do-over spin in the Showdown round.

Jerry gets $915 phones from vTech, giving him a chance at a grill, a lounge chair, and an off-road motorcycle. Which is the Most Expensive? He goes with the grill. The chair is $1582. The bike is $2567. The grill... $1549.

Carol St. Clair is down and up thanks to a $969 fireplace. She now draws for a Chevrolet Equinox in the Card Game. The window today is $2000. She gets the Ace of Clubs on the third draw, making her bid $18,777. Actual price... $21,990. Close, but, to quote another CBS host, "Close gets you nothing."

The green spot is the hot spot in the second half as Anne Smith, who almost runs in the wrong direction, wins a $729 TV/DVD player with a year of Netflix. She gets to play for a new dining room group with dinnerware in Secret X. Freebie goes top left. Second X: a voice recorder. $41 or $58? She goes with $58... Right! Third X: mop worth either $7 or $10. She goes with $10... Right again! Xes go bottom left and bottom right. The secret X is.... TOP. No win, but a chance at the Showcase with an 80c tie... until Carol comes along and spins 85.

First in the Showcase: Dr. Farview's Telescope, which sees Waikiki, Rome, and the parking garage where a Ford Escape is located. Top winner Nathaniel bids $30,000. Carol gets something for every room in the house! For the home gym, a home gym. For the den, a bar set. For the laundry room, a washer/dryer. For the family room, a player piano. She bids $21,000. Actual price: $15,258. Over she goes. Actual price of the telescope Showcase... $33,197! Nathaniel's going back to Alabama with $36,296!

Stats: 1-5, $44,995.

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Yesterday, Michael Pristash (Minneapolis, MN) started his run towards a million bucks, securing $1,000. Will he make it all the way?

Michael has a dog back home, whom he misses, and spent all morning before the show watching on a webcam. Aww... Well, time to get back to getting at least $8,000, or else he won't be able to face the kids he teaches again...

[$2,000]
The lines "See Jane schlep. Schlep, Jane. Schlep" are from a 2004 humor book titled what?
A: Dutch with Dick and Jane
B: French with Dick and Jane
C: Yiddish with Dick and Jane
D: Greek with Dick and Jane

Michael asks the audience, and the majority of both polls pick C (91% of the studio audience; 71% of the AIM users). Michael trusts them... and they're right! Another question later, and up comes that important level for him...

[$8,000]
The scientist Archimedes made the famous claim that he could move the earth using what device?
A: Wedge
B: Lever
C: Wheel
D: Screw

Michael says that Archimedes is known for his screw, so he goes with D... but it's B! Darn. That sends him home with $1,000, but how can he face his students now?

Entering the hot seat now is Jessica Bailey (Greensburg, IN), a stay-at-home mom. She has 3 kids, and her oldest, Nicholas (4), was a bit worried, wondering how she "gets into the TV". Jessica waves to the kids through the camera before beginning, and she knows that a frog usually uses its tongue to catch flies (since it likely doesn't know exactly how to use an outfielder's mitt). She gets through the lower tier, then soon faces this...

[$8,000]
Named after one of its main streets, the Castro is a historic neighborhood in what U.S. city?
A: Washington, D.C.
B: Chicago
C: Boston
D: San Francisco

Jessica turns to the audience for this one, and D seems to be the favourite (71%; 51%). Jessica trusts them... and they're right! Moving on...

[$16,000]
Made by Steinway & Sons, the limited-edition Rhapsody piano was designed in honor of what composer?
A: Aaron Copland
B: Leonard Bernstein
C: George Gershwin
D: Irving Berlin

Jessica decides to call her husband's cousin, Paul, who guesses C. She then uses the 50:50, leaving B and C. Jessica goes with C... and it's C! Next question...

[$25,000]
Which of these vegetables are commonly processed to make the food additive MSG?
A: Carrots
B: Beets
C: Eggplants
D: Potatoes

Jessica is not sure, so she takes the $16,000 and walks. By the way, the answer was B.

Next up is Adrienne McIntyre (Cleveland, OH). She's got stage fright, so naturally, she's nervous. Meredith tries to help her get through this by mentioning the ol' "imagine the audience in their underwear" bit, before they get going. Adrienne starts by knowing that according to an old superstition, it is bad luck to walk under a ladder. She has good luck so far, though, as she sweeps the lower tier, then has this...

[$2,000]
What classic novel begins with the line "It was a pleasure to burn"?
A: The Great Gatsby
B: Fahrenheit 451
C: Pride and Prejudice
D: Invisible Man

Adrienne goes to the audience, and both polls favour B (83%; 72%). She trusts them... and they're right!

Time is up for today. Adrienne will return to the hot seat tomorrow, and hopefully, she won't be as nervous.
