Air time: 8p ET/7p CT on Telefutura
Host: Marco Antonio Regil
STAY TUNED...

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Bonnie Clair (attorney from St. Louis); $27,551, two days
Jessica Epstein (assistant dean orig. from Mercer Island, WA)
Tim Logue (bartender from San Francisco)

Bonnie managed to do what no one else last week did... successfully defend her championship. Will it work again, though?

Bonnie starts with $200 Waiter!, finding the Daily Double under $1000 "Dem"-ons. She bets the max of $1000 on this: the young women "D'avignon" in the title of a painting by Picasso. "What are the des moiselles?" Right for $1800. She vaults to $4600, but Jessica's in the lead going into the half with $6800. Tim, with only $800, gets to start Double Jeopardy!...

...with $400 A Violent Category. Jessica gets the first Daily Double under $1600 US Cabinet Departments in Other Words. With $12,000 betting money, she bets $2000 on mc2. "What is Energy?" Right for $14,000! Going over to the second Daily Double under $1200 Lewis & Clark. Tim in third gets the video and bets $6000. Here's Sarah: "The explorers got invaluable directions from the Indian tribe Lewis called 'Pierced Nose', that we know as this." "Who are the Nez Perce?" Correct for the lead and $14,400. After a visit from the Ditech guy (nee Ron Michaelson), we are only $400 between first and third, with Jessica at $14,000, Bonnie at $14,200, and Tim at $14,400. Clearly, it's anyone's to win.

Final Jeopardy! in "American Women": she gave herself the third-person name "Phantom", the "no-person" she was from 19 months until she was almost 7. Correct question: Who was Helen Keller?

Jessica's the only one to nail this, as she becomes the new Jeopardy! champion with $25,401. Bonnie, who said "Oprah Winfrey" and tied with Tim for second, leaves with $29,051.

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS (markets may vary)
Host: Bob Barker
For the last two shows, we had a double overbid. If we have a third, I just might scream bloody murder... We start with Jordan Francis, Giancarlo DelVecchio, Judy Hetzel, Michelle Davis, and a set of camping equipment. The price: $809. The winner: Giancarlo. The prizes he could win next: a TV/DVD/VCR combo, a day bed with mattress, two snowboards, and two foot massagers. All he has to do is avoid the Danger Price of $1794. First, the snowboards... $620! How about the TV/DVD/VCR? $499! And the foot massagers? $1000! He wins all four!

Michelle wins a $938 rug, and a chance at a Chrysler PT Cruiser, a jewelry box, a steam iron, a candlestick phone, and a stand mixer. The game, of course, is Switcheroo. The board...

CAR -     $16,0_5
JEWELRY BOX - $_0
STEAM IRON -  $_4
PHONE -       $_0
STAND MIXER - $_9
2 3 5 8 9

She goes 2, 9, 3, 8, 5 first time out... 1 right. Next time, 9, 5, 3, 2, 8. Still one right... Which one? The jewel box at $50. The car was $16,035. The iron, $24, the phone, $80, and the mixer, $99.

Jordan wins luggage in round 3 worth $793. Now can she score some ching and a piano on Check Game? Weirdly enough, the check's made out to the round 2 winner, Michelle Davis. She makes out the check for $2500. The piano is... $4000. She's $500 over. And it's over for her as she loses out to Michelle for a spot in the Showcase.

Who'll be next to join her? Amy Frank wins a $1125 wine secretary. And she can win $10,000 worth of wine money in the Grand Game... The products: Bayer low-dose aspirin, Nesquik, Jelly Belly jellybeans, Polident, David jalapeno sunflower seeds, and Dexatrim Max. Target price: $7. The Jelly Bellies.... $2.99! The seeds... $1.09! The Nesquik... $4.39! She goes on to the aspirin... $11.39. No money...

John Sanford is down and up thanks to a $1099 fridge/freezer. Can he convert into a Pontiac Vibe? He'll try to at the Card Game table, as he draws a $1000 window. (C-Note: Bob is in hurry-up offense mode, as he forgets to have John cut the deck). He draws up to $15,900. Actual price... $20,261. He's way under...

Last chance for Judy with an offroad motorcycle worth $2567. Winner... Judy! She now has a chance to win a pool table and a Coke machine replica. The 1 Right Price is $4995. She places it on the pool table... she's wrong. And to further add insult to injury... John spins out $1000 on the Big Wheel and joins Michelle in the Showcase.

First up... Officer Jess Tellme sees someone sing about a dishwasher, a hot tub, and a ski boat. Top winner John passes to Michelle, who bids $29,000. John meanwhile gets a dining room with dinnerware, cookbooks, and a trip to Japan. He bids $20,000. Actual price... $16,745. Over. Actual price of Michelle's Showcase... $24,008. Over.

So for the third time in a row, we go over-over... If you'll excuse me... *Screams bloody murder*

Stats: 1-5, $12,334.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Last week turned out to be quite interesting, but now, it's back to some unfinished business from the week before. JoAnn Gigliotti (Morrisville, PA) has $25,000, and with a couple of lifelines available, she could win more.

In the morning on the day of this taping, JoAnn decided to do some shopping in New York City, but for a second location for her shop, "Red-Hot Mamas". Plus, she wants to learn Russian, since her son (the Phone-a-Friend from earlier in her game) is heading to Russia, and she'd like to use some of the money to visit him when he does. Okay, time to resume the game. JoAnn gets through the $50,000 question, then faces this...

[$100,000]
Which of the following is an example of a literary device called "pathetic fallacy"?
A: Gurgling rattle
B: Cruel wind
C: Sweet satisfaction
D: Absolute uncertainty

The 50:50 leaves B and D. JoAnn goes for it, saying D... but it's B! Darn. Well, she does have that $25,000!

Next up is Eileen Hasson (Sayville, NY). Being on this show has been a dream for her for 6 years, and she hopes to do the best she can. Here's hoping she does. Eileen starts by knowing that the French phrase "m'aider" means "help me". She gets the $1,000, then after a few more questions, this comes up...

[$16,000]
During standard time, what is the time difference between California and Hawaii?
A: One hour
B: Two hours
C: Three hours
D: Four hours

Eileen asks the audience, and the results are a bit interesting. 35% of the studio audience says C, with 34% picking B. But 30% of the AIM users say B, with 29% picking C. It's a tough call, so Eileen calls her husband Mike. Mike says B (the AIM poll's choice), and he seems quite certain. Eileen trusts him... and it's B! She then becomes the 15th player in the regular run (by this, of course, I mean not counting the theme weeks) to reach $25,000, before facing this...

[$50,000]
Inventor Elisha Gray lost the race to secure a patent for what invention by a matter of hours?
A: Steam engine
B: Telephone
C: Sewing machine
D: Light bulb

Eileen has a hunch, but she decides to use the 50:50. B and C remain. She goes with C... but it's B! Ouch. And that sends her home with $25,000.

Now in the hot seat is Michael Kayne (Brooklyn, NY). Believe it or not, one day, he did so well in Trivial Pursuit that the person he beat said he should try for a job in his company. Michael did, and he got the job! However, in subsequent games of Trivial Pursuit, he couldn't beat that guy again. Interesting how luck works, eh? Anyway, Michael starts by knowing that a tailgate party traditionally includes a picnic meal served from the back of a car. He then completes the lower tier, making $1,000.

And that's all for today. Michael will be back for more tomorrow.
