STAY TUNED...

Family Feud by Chico Alexander and Chris Tufts, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or familyfeud.com
Host: Richard Karn
Burton is decked out luau-style because one of eight families can win up to $130,000 and a trip to Hawaii on Family Feud's annual winner-take-all Tournament of Champions! So far, the pot is at $50,000, and the Rambos await the winner of the next three games.

Abdullah (Abdullah, Gazi, Farouk, Waleed, Sami)
Milutinovich (Lesley, Kelly, Kristin, Corey, Cathy)
JACKPOT: $50,000

There's a reason why no one will remember the Abdullah family from their appearance earlier in the season. They appeared on the first week of the second run (shows 5006-5010) which have not aired officially on the first run.

Round 1: 100 married women, something that wouldn't get done if you didn't do it (5). Lesley gets #2, the laundry, while Abdullah gets #3, cooking. Kelly gets #1, the housework. Grocery shopping and bills round it out for the Milutinoviches, as they score 96.

Round 2: a President's daughter you think appeared nude in Playboy (6). Gazi fires with Clinton, number one. Bush 43, Reagan, Nixon, Carter, and... Roosevelt? The Milutinoviches hope so. Nope. It's a one-point Feud with the Abdullahs at 97. Other answer: Lyndon B. Johnson.

By the way, per Richard, so far, only Ronald Reagan's daughter posed for Playboy.

Double Round: something people pound (5). Farouk gets number one, meat. The Abdullahs also pound a table. The Milutinoviches try pounding the pavement for the steal... Got it for 178! Other answers: nails, beer.

Triple Round: an occupation in which you would go on duty (4). Corey gets number one, a police officer. Military is up there, but what about security guard? The Abdullahs need it... They got it! They win, 301-178. Other answer: nurse.

Gazi & Farouk go to Fast Money, as Farouk scores 54 after a number one in "a drink with bubbles" (champagne). Gazi misses the 103, so the jackpot is still at $50,000. The last two families in the quarterfinals tomorrow.

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS (markets may vary)
Host: Bob Barker
Thursday... 7800... Here's the real...

Jennifer Taylor in the front row, Susan Lovekamp, Omolola Ilelaboye, and Barbara Nixon take to Contestants' Row with a washer/dryer in tow. It's worth $949, and it goes to Barbara, who win a cupboard and a home gym. The 1 Right Price: $2200. She tags it onto the cupboard, which is... $3385.

Jennifer gets out of the Row in round 2 thanks to a $989 loveseat. Now all she needs is to spell CAR and she'll be in business. The CAR in this case is a Ford Focus. First up, a solar radio, which she's priced at $28. It's $30, so she gets another card. She prices a food scale at $25... and it's $25, so we're not even going to bother with that ionic hair dryer, because she's won it already. But about that car. First... A. Next... A. Then... R... Then... Another R. Finally.... another R. So she wins an ARRRRRR...

Koroseta Atualevao, a San Diego native and the first Samoan this show has had in a good while, is a one-round wonder, winning $900 in his and hers luggage. Unfortunately, she's also a loser on stage. Knowing full well (sort of) how to play Check Game, she makes a check out to $2200. The trip to Puerto Vallarta on offer is $2584. Add it up... And she's $216 short. She's even shorter at the Wheel as Jennifer makes it to the Showcase with a score of 70c.

Susan wins a $668 set of snowshoes. She takes those to a Clearance Sale where she can win a floor clock, a popcorn cart, and power tools. The clearance prices are $800, $1200 and $1600. She puts the $800 on the power tools, the $1200 on the popcorn cart, and the $1600 on the floor clock. Actual price of the power tools: $906. Looks good. Actual price of the popcorn cart: $1386. Looks really good. Actual price of the floor clock: $2020! Looks like a winner!

Omolola takes away a $999 wine chest. But can she take away $10,000 in the Grand Game? The target: $7.00. The products: Hot Pockets, St. Joseph's Companion aspirin, Viactiv chews, Space Bag, Gold Bond lotion, and Tums Smoothies. She goes for the Hot Pockets... $2.29! That's $10. She takes the aspirin... just shy of a buck, that's $100. She takes the Tums... $3.99! That's $1000! She'll go on with the Gold Bond... $8.90. No money for Omolola...

Francis Sullivan, who spent most of the hour scaring the living daylights out of Omolola, finally makes it to the stage thanks to a $1699 sewing machine. The mayor of Mt. Washington, KY, after giving Bob a key to the city, gets a shot at keys to a Chrysler PT Cruiser. The game is Money Game, and the board is...

45  16  50
80  98  17
75  18  35

Middle number: 0. First number isn't 18 or 17. It's 16. Last number isn't 50 or 98. It's 35. And the mayor goes back to Mt. Washington with $183, because Susan won the Showcase Showdown with 95c.

First in the Showcase: the world's laziest movers, as they handle a laptop computer, a trip to Rome, and a sailboat. Top winner Susan tags it at $18,500. Meanwhile, Jennifer gets a dining room with dinnerware, a digital piano, and a snowmobile. She bids $17,500. Actual price: $20,086, a difference of $2586. Susan's price: $24,338. Jennifer wins it with $21,156 in prizes.

Stats: 1-5, $30,909.

Air time:  Check listings or wheeloffortune.com
Hosts: Pat Sajak & Vanna White
Ft. Lauderdale, Fun in the Sun, America's Game, let's get to Day 4... First up, $1000 for a Tossup in Fun & Games. Amber Wheeler, a fitness instructor from Pompano Beach, scores $1000 from DEEP-SEA FISHING. Joining her are design-center sales manager Cindy Nordhorn from Ft. Lauderdale and girl's basketball coach Tracy Harris from Boca Raton... who's always mistaken for Shaquille O'Neal.

The $2000 Tossup is Occupation. Tracy scores $2000 from TELEMARKETER and first spinning rights for a trip to Shanghai worth $8157. We're dealing with On the Menu. He claims the Shanghai trip with a T, a free spin with an R, loses a free spin with a C, picks up a Resortsandlodges.com gift tag, solving ROASTED BONELESS SPARE RIB. That's.... not right. But it's BACK to Tracy, who spins out a B. He solves again with ROASTED BONELESS PRIME RIB. THAT'S right for $13,307 in swag.

Eggland's Best Jackpot Round is a Place... and speaking of which, it's a Prize Puzzle! Amber controls this round, until Cindy solves MAGNIFICENT CORAL REEF for $600. And where can you find that but in the Bahamas? She's going there, and so are you if you're spin ID is HP01864. So far, Cindy's got $6460.

The mystery round Before & After prize is $10,000. And wouldn't you know it? Cindy takes $1000 fro the Mystery Wedge.... and it becomes $10,000! She also gets $1000 from Maui Jim's, but Loses a Turn! Tracy ends up solving DRINKING FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH for another $1000, giving him $14,307.

The $3000 Tossup is Thing. It's RENEWABLE ENERGY, which Tracy has for $3000. We're going to Speed Round mode with $1300 a consonant. The category: Rhyme Time. Amber solves something she says often, NO PAIN, NO GAIN, for $5200, giving her $6200 for the night. Cindy's got second with $6460. But Tracy's the big winner, getting $17,307.

But can Shaq-lite take the big six in the Bonus Round? The category: In the Kitchen. With the original package and HCM O, we come up with...

_ _ _ C E
_ O _

He misses out on a JUICE BOX, and... ay, carumba, what a juice box... Had he won the Bonus Round... he would've been $100,000 richer. BUT, the good news is that he's going home with $17,307.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Yesterday, Tamasine Ellis (Houston, TX) had to turn to the audience for some help, and it got her to the $16,000 level. She looks to advance farther today...

As a high school teacher, Tamasine's students say that she takes forever to correct their papers. She says it usually takes at least a week, so that she can be precise and make good comments. It won't take long to get back to the game, though...

[$25,000]
According to a 2005 Census Bureau study, what is the median age of first-time brides in the U.S.?
A: 21 years old
B: 23 years old
C: 25 years old
D: 27 years old

Tamasine decides to call her friend Steven, who has no idea, but guesses C just before time runs out. Tamasine then uses the 50:50, leaving C and D. With that, Tamasine thinks about it, then goes with C... and she has $25,000! So, for the 11th straight time (as I've mentioned in the last 2 recaps, this doesn't count WIAW Week), it's on to the upper tier...

[$50,000]
Often viewed as the fifth taste detected by the human tongue, "umami" is usually associated with food made with what?
A: MSG
B: Soybeans
C: Horseradish
D: Ginger

Tamasine doesn't know, so she switches it out. After seeing that the answer was A, she then sees this...

[$50,000] (Q)
The Taliban, a fundamentalist Islamic regime, gets its name from an Arabic word meaning what?
A: Prophet
B: Chosen
C: Student
D: Revolution

Tamasine goes with B... but it was C! Oh well; she had nothing to lose there, and she heads back to Houston with $25,000!

Next in the hot seat is Todd McGowan (Raleigh, NC). He runs 3 auto-body shops, specializing in fixing cars, and yet he hasn't touched a car in his life. Yeah, he gets his employees to do all the fixing. And his shops have been quite successful. Those employees ain't here, though, but at least he doesn't have cars to worry about (unless a question comes up that has to do with them). So, Todd starts by knowing that retail stores commonly post signs warning that "shoplifters will be prosecuted" (actresses named Winona may want to stay away from stores altogether). He gets to $1,000, and gets through most of the middle tier, before facing this...

[$25,000]
With more than $436 million in domestic box office receipts, what was the highest-grossing movie of 2004?
A: The Incredibles
B: Shrek 2
C: Spider-Man 2
D: The Passion of the Christ

The 50:50 leaves A and B. Todd goes with B... and he has $25,000! (12th in a row to reach this point, now.) Moving on...

[$50,000]
According to his birth certificate, what is Martin Luther King Jr.'s first name?
A: Maxwell
B: Malcolm
C: Matthew
D: Michael

Todd decides to switch the question. The answer is revealed to be D, and then, this pops up...

[$50,000] (Q)
On the TV series "Mister Ed," what is the name of the horse who played Mister Ed?
A: Penny Ante
B: Homecoming Queen
C: Bamboo Harvester
D: Saint Whisper

Todd calls his sister-in-law Mary, but she doesn't know. So, Todd now asks the audience. 50% of the studio audience and 41% of the AIM users say A. Todd trusts them... but they're wrong! It was C, which was said by 7% of the studio audience and 18% of the AIM users! That sends him home with $25,000.

Time for Madeline Clive (Minneapolis, MN) to try her luck in the hot seat. She's a professional gardener, who is hoping to see some green here, in the form of money. So, Madeline starts by knowing that a chatterbox is someone who talks excessively. She then has no problem getting $1,000.

That'll do it for today. Madeline will return tomorrow.
