The Ashmons got a steal to force sudden death after losing the first three surveys.

Sudden death: Give me word or term meaning you have no money.

Ashmons would finish the comeback win with broke (88).

Shay & Thaddeus play Fast Money. Shay would be screaming for joy when her answers scored her 147. Thaddeus nailed the #1 answer on poison ivy which got them their $20,000.

Fast Money #1 answers
- Something specific you never get enough of on a plane trip: Food (Shay) & Sleep were tied
- Something in your wallet that has numbers on it: Driver's license
- At what age does a woman hit her stride?: Age 40
- Something that might make you itch: Poison ivy (Thaddeus)
- An animal that eats mice: Cat (Shay)

In the nightcap, the Coleman family play the Wilson family. The Wilsons would get a steal to force sudden death, which the last survey was reused back in 2008, on naming something people jump into. The pool, water, and relationships were up there and they got the steal with cars and clothes was the remaining answer.

Sudden death: Name a kind of place a person checks into. The Wilsons would win it with a hotel/motel (64).

Sarah & Caroline step up to play Fast Money. Sarah's answers got her 91. Caroline didn't fair as she was thinking papayas as a fruit with the nicest smell rather than a peach, which was the mistake she made. They fall short and end up with $900.

They have $400 and move on to 7 and another $200. They move on to 9 and are OUT with a zonk. Consolation prize of $200 under #2. 11 had the other zonk.

Let's bounce back with Michele the Giraffe. Jonathan has a small box which has 6 items. Wayne will give her $100/item or $600. She passes and we go to $150/item = $900. $200/item =$1,200. Her prize hid a trip to Costa Rica at the Doubletree by Hilton worth $4,550!

She can add three zeroes by answering the question about the following items: "60 MINUTES" STOPWATCH, CARRIE BRADSHAW'S COMPUTER, R2-D2, MONTY HALL'S MICROPHONE and WONDER WOMAN'S BUSTIER. She needs to pick out three items which are part of the Pop Culture Collection at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC. For every answer right, she adds a 0. If she picks one of the two that isn't she is zonked and out. She picks the stopwatch, R2-D2, and the bustier. We start with the stopwatch and she is right. She has $50. Wayne offers a

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Double Money Week #3
by Don Harpwood

Syn: Check local listings
Host: Meredith Vieira

This week, it is once again Double Your Money Week! For those who missed the first 2 times this happened, it means that one Round 1 question in a player's stack will be randomly chosen to have its value doubled. Plus, Johanna Loddo (Rye, NY) returns from Friday to begin the episode with $63,500 through 9 questions, and with ATA and a Jump still on the table.

Because she resumes her game this week, and there's only one question left for her in Round 1, well...

[Q10 - Home Base] (DOUBLE MONEY; worth $5,000 x2 = $10,000)
People who call themselves "Zonians" live or work in what area?
A: Area 51
B: Vatican City
C: Antarctica
D: Panama Canal

Johanna is leaning towards A, but she decides to ask the audience. 62% agree with her. The fact that she mentioned which answer she was thinking could have influenced the vote, and because of that, she decides to use her Jump on this one. The answer is actually D (26%), and she moves on to Round 2.

[$100,000]
Known in America as an "Indian Summer," in Turkey an exceptionally warm fall is referred to by what cold cut name?
A: Bologna Summer
B: Ham Summer
C: Pastrami Summer
D: Roast Beef Summer

Johanna says that A is Italian, while B seems unlikely. Then, after a moment of thinking about C and D, she decides to walk. After seeing that it's C, she leaves with $63,500!

Erica Rivera (Parlin, NJ)
A month prior to this taping, she was in the audience, and she took the test.
Double Money: Q5

She jumps the 1st question, which had just $100. She then goes on and nails the 5th, doubling its $7,000 to $14,000! Her total is $24,000 going into this...

[Q6 - The History of Fun]
Built in 1884 at Coney Island, the Gravity Pleasure was an early form of a what?
A: Roller coaster
B: Freak show
C: Boardwalk
D: Ferris wheel

After some thought, Erica turns to the audience. 71% say A. Despite that result, she then uses her second Jump. The answer is indeed A, and she misses out on... $15,000.

[Q7 - Big Money]
Newt Gingrich's populist credentials took a hit in 2011 after news that he once owed what store over $250,000?
A: Tiffany & Co.
B: Coach
C: Louis Vuitton
D: Neiman Marcus

Though she kind of wants to guess, Erica ends up walking with $12,000! As for the answer, it's A.

Shirley Proctor (Eureka, NC)
She says she's "extremely excited" to be there.
Double Money: Q8

She jumps the 1st question, which had $2,000. She then builds her bank up to $25,600 after 4 questions to end the episode. Shirley returns tomorrow for more!
