Cash Cab by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time: 6p ET/5p CT on Discovery
Host: Ben Bailey
Let's go for a ride to 91st & Broadway with Kim Bentley and Ellen Williams. The ladies sweep the $25 questions... but strike here: with no army, what eco-tourist destination is known as "the Switzerland of Central America". They go with Mexico... but it's Costa Rica. Second strike: what kind of violent windstorm does a waterspout become when it hits land? It's a tornado, not a hurricane. They call for street shoutout here: a passing New York subway can reach a level of 110 on what scale that levels sound? They go with decibels... Right for $200! But that's as close as they get to the money as they strike out here... in 2004, the Ansari X Prize offered $10 million to the first non-government organization to do what? Correct: to launch a man in space. On the bright side, you only have one block to walk.

Better luck as we head to 66th & West End? Let's hope that Julia has some... She too sweeps the $25 tier. First strike: the Dostoyevsky novel about four siblings and the murder of their father. Correct: The Brothers Karamazov. Second strike: what US state was Lincoln born? Correct: Kentucky. Quick! Call for a street shoutout! Question: in what battle did Custer fight his last stand? The Battle of Little Bighorn.... gets her $300! And she makes it to her destination with $500! And she's taking it and going, leaving door #3 to Ben's own device.

Finally, we have Mike, Caleb, and Josh going to 81st and CPW. They too sweep the $25 tier. They take a mobile shoutout here: in an e-mail what does BCC stand for? Correct: blind carbon copy. Their answer.... by carbon copy. Strike one... Street shoutout! what mineral is the softest on earth and is grounded into powder for cosmetic purposes? They go with flour... Strike two. Correct: talc. The good news: they make it to CPW with $450! But will they go with the video? They will. The question: the Grand Canyon officially became a national park during the Wilson administration. But it was set aside as a game preserve during the presidency of what avid big-game hunter? They go with Teddy Roosevelt.... They double up to $900!

Family Feud by Chico Alexander and Chris Tufts, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or familyfeud.com
Host: Richard Karn
Salazar (Nancy, Maribel, Marcela, Ricardo, Sidney)
Broadous (Lillian, Deborah, Angelica, Michelle, Shyann); $715

Round 1: an excuse a husband gives for not going with his wife to church (6). Nancy's too sleepy for number one. Also on the board: watching sports. The Broadous try to steal with "sick". Got it for 62! Other answers: work around home, church is boring, not religious.

Round 2: something kids skip (6). Maribel fires with school, number one! That's all they get as the Broadous try to steal again, this time with "chores"... Not there! The Salazars get 38! Other answers: skip meal/eating, skip rope (said!), skip homework, skip brushing teeth, skip a grade (also said!).

Double Round: a complaint people have about city streets (full board). Angelica hits the top with potholes. Dirt, traffic, width, street lights, and... accidents? The Salazars hope so... Not there! The Broadous have 252! Other answer: limited parking.

Triple Round: an animal on Noah's Ark that took up a lot of space (4). Ricardo goes for the big one, an elephant. Giraffe also makes the survey, but the Broadouses go with hippopotami for the steal... Good to win, 504-38. Other answer: cow.

Cousins Lillian & Shyann try again at the Fast Money Board, but just don't make it. They score 153 for $765, a two-day total of $1480. The Broadous family's three day run on the Breast Cancer Specials is skipped. Thursday's program picks up with the Kimbell family who dethroned the Broadous cousins.

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Eleanor Ainslie (medical student from Philadelphia); $13,300
Dave Halliday (travel marketer from Williamsburg, VA)
Joanna Stromberg (attorney from Bethesda, MD)

Be our guest today as we're on the stage of "Disney's Beauty & The Beast" on Broadway, baby. That's one of six picks today as Eleanor starts with $200 Novel Vocabulary. Dave finds the Daily Double under $1000 in "B" in Fashion. With only $600, he bets just the $200 on USA's oldest clothing retailer, an upscale, once family-run business who collared the market on men's apparel since 1818. "What is Brooks Bros.?" Right on for $800! We run out of time before clearing the board, and Dave takes the lead with $4600 to Joanna's $2400. Eleanor, not far behind with $2000, starts Double Jeopardy!...

Or does she? Eleanor is credited with a correct answer that Alex mistook as wrong, meaning that she is now in second with $3200. So it's Joanna who will start the next round...

... with $400 Italian Cuisine. Dave finds the first Daily Double under $1200 Angolan History. At second with $6200, he fronts $2200 on this: around 2000 years ago, member of this large African ethnolinguistic group began settling in Angola. "What is Bantu?" Right for the tie, $8400 to Eleanor's $8400 as well. Dave completes the trifecta with $1200 Japanese Geography (they also had a category called Global "Village"). He bets $4000 on this: the seaport of Naha is on this Japanese island that was the site of a fierce WWII battle in April 1945. "What is Iwo Jima?" That.... is wrong. It was Okinawa, as he drops to $11,400. He gains another $1600 to tie Eleanor at $13,200 to end the round, with Joanna at $5600.

Final Jeopardy! in "War & Peace": in 1839 the first of several wars broke out over the trade of an extract from a flower of this family. Correct question: What is poppy?

Joanna is the only one right. She'll double up. Dave loses everything, and Eleanor only loses $2000, meaning that we have a tie! Women rule the day today as Eleanor returns with $24,500 and Joanna returns with $11,200 as co-champions! Dave returns to Williamsburg with $1000.

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS (markets may vary)
Host: Bob Barker
New Barker's Beauty in the persona of "Deal or No Deal's" Mylinda Tov today. So that makes two Beauties in Howie's gallery. But enough about the end of February, let's look at the beginning.

Deanna Buelow, Krystin Wahl, David Grometer, and George Hale start the bidding with a home gym. It's worth $2299. It goes to Deanna, who gets a chance at a rocker and a spa in the Clock Game. With little over five ticks left, she gets the rocker, priced at $799. She stops at $800 when time is called on the Comfort Spa-to-Go, priced at $899.

A majestic manatee is up for bids in round 2... or should we say, a painting of "Majestic Manatee". George wins it, priced at $2400, as he looks for the shortest path between him and a Chevy Malibu. Unfortunately, he's stopped before he ever begins. First number is one. He gets a choice among 3, 6, 8, and 9. He goes for 8. WRONG. He tries getting passes from a stand mixer... Nope. How about a toaster? Sorry. A food dehydrator? Game over. You lose.

Correct price, by the way, was $19,457.

Joshua Porter, a sailor in the Navy, sails up in round 3 thanks to an acoustic guitar worth $749. Time to play the Grand Game with these: Theragesic cream, Glad Forceflex, Goldfish crackers, Maxwell House decaf, Jif extra crunchy, and Bruce's yams. Target price: $4.25. He goes with the crackers first... 89c! He goes with the yams... $1.29! He goes with the peanut butter... $2.99! He goes on with the decaf... Ouch, $4.75. No more money for him... now, but watch him on the Wheel as he spins out $6000.

A tandem bike starts the second half with Krystin winning the $699 wheels... But she'll fly to Montreal and Jamaica if she knows where to put the 1 Right Price of $4534. She... doesn't. She tries Jamaica... but it's $5554.

Surely Colin Taira can pull us out of this... He wins a $700 pair of Blackberries. Those would be the PDAs, not the fruit. He goes center stage to play That's Too Much! for a Ford Focus. He thinks that $17,995 is Too Much! But it's... Too Little. Should've waited one more square with $19,230 next... The car is $18,095.

One more chance for George, and one more chance for us to get SOME winner out of this... But it's Amelya Hall who wins a wine server cart worth $800. If she saves the show, she'll get a catamaran. Of course, she gets a formidable foe: Pick-a-Number. The setup: $94_5. Choosing from 2, 6, and 8, she goes with 6... Should've gone with 2, and this show smells like a SKUNK. But it's not a total skunk, as Amelya scores $1000 on the Big Wheel and joins Joshua in the Showcase.

First up: when should you fire someone? a) They steal coffee from your coffee/espresso machine. b) They take a trip to Switzerland. c) They make off with the Hi-Lo trailer. Top winner Joshua passes to Amelya, who bids $15,500. Joshua gets a new living room with carpeting, ski equipment, and a snowmobile. He bids $16,000. Actual price: $16.... 407. No two-fer, but close. Actual price of Amelya's Showcase: $29,511. Joshua's the big winner today with $23,196.

Stats: shutout, $31,893.

The $2,000 Tossup is PERSON. Joe is two for two with BLUSHING BRIDE. We add a trip to the Wynn Las Vegas worth $4,100. He has $3,000 and starts this round which is NEXT LINE PLEASE. He misses...over to Karen. She misses...over to Stephanie. She hits the Wynn Las Vegas Trip. She hits a $2,500 R. She misses...over to Joe who solves SEE NO EVIL, HEAR NO EVIL for $600. The Jackpot round is sponsored by Eggland's Best Eggs. The category is FUN AND GAMES...and it's a PRIZE PUZZLE. Karen starts. She misses...over to Stephanie. She hits 2 $3,500 M's. And after a lot of work...she loses $8,300 on Bankrupt. She uses the Free Spin she hit earlier in the round and hits Lose A Turn. Joe is one of the best players this season. I have a really good feeling about this. He lands on the ** wedge. His category is PHRASE. With the RSTLNE we have:

_ _ ST   _ _ N _
_ T

He chooses GPDO and we have:

_ _ ST  _ _ N G
_ T

And he didn't have to JUST WING IT! He won $25,000 more to his excellent total! He leaves with $55,950 in cash and prizes. The best player of the year so far, in my opinion!

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Another day, another hope that someone will go all the way up the Millionaire ladder...

Today's first contestant is Seth Abrams (New York, NY). Believe it or not, he once had a blind date with Monica Lewinsky. Yep, that's what he said. After the date, he never heard from her again, and the next time he heard about her was while watching TV, when she made the news for, well, you know. In fact, Seth was once contacted by the FBI, simply because his number was in Monica's little black book! Wow. Anyway, Seth starts on the road to a million bucks by knowing that the title of Louisa May Alcott's novel about sisters Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March is Little Women (figures that D would be Brazen Hussies, considering what we just heard about Seth). He easily locks in the $1,000, and soon enough, he faces this...

[$4,000]
Often marketed as a cure-all for fatigue and aging, royal jelly is a secretion produced by what animals?
A: Hummingbirds
B: Garden snails
C: Caterpillars
D: Honey bees

Seth asks the audience. 78% of the studio audience says D, and so does 68% of the AIM users. Seth trusts them... and they're right! Another question later, and this one shows up...

[$16,000]
Over half of the electricity consumed in the U.S. is produced using what fuel source?
A: Coal
B: Nuclear power
C: Natural gas
D: Hydroelectric power

The 50:50 leaves A and D. Seth isn't sure if any of his friends would know this, so he takes a shot at it, saying A... and he's right! Moving on...

[$25,000]
Before he became A-list, what actor starred in a James Dean-inspired video for the Paula Abdul song "Rush Rush"?
A: Brad Pitt
B: Keanu Reeves
C: George Clooney
D: Johnny Depp

Seth calls his friend Thomas, who is 100% sure that it's B. Seth goes with that... and he has $25,000! Next question...

[$50,000]
What musical instrument, invented around 1700, was a modification of a folk reed-pipe called the "chalumeau"?
A: Bassoon
B: Saxophone
C: Clarinet
D: Oboe

Seth has no idea, so he switches it out. After seeing that the answer was C, he now sees this...

[$50,000] (Q)
On the TV series "Gilligan's Island," what is Mrs. "Lovey" Howell's first name?
A: Agnes
B: Eunice
C: Grace
D: Amaryllis

It's a free guess, so Seth just says B... and it's B! Still going...

[$100,000]
According to the famous Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poem, Hiawatha belongs to what Native American tribe?
A: Chippewa
B: Mohican
C: Shawnee
D: Arapaho

Seth has no clue, so he walks. The answer was A, but it doesn't matter now, as he is heading home with $50,000!

Next up is Kathryn Markey (New York, NY). She got a few bits of advice from her sons. Her 8-year-old son had her memorize all the characters from "Lemony Snicket", and her 5-year-old son said to ask him if a "Star Wars" question comes up. So, if either of those 2 subjects does come up, at least she'll be ready for them. Kathryn starts by knowing that Apollo 11 was the first manned spacecraft to land on the moon. She completes the lower tier, then has this...

[$2,000]
What does the "N" stand for in the CBS hit drama "NCIS"?
A: Negative
B: North
C: Naval
D: Natural

Kathryn decides to ask the audience. 87% of the studio audience and 85% of the AIM users say C. Kathryn goes with C... and it's C!

Time is up for today. Kathryn will be back tomorrow.
