With this very show, TLC is crossing into
uncharted territory... the realm of the game show.
The premise is simple... Four rounds of answer-questions-win-rooms, but
be prepared to defend, because your family can have those rooms sniped
from you at any time.
Tonight, it's the KERTES family (Kevin, Phoebe,
Julie, Megan) vs. the DIETZ family (Kyle,
Julie, Kassidy, Mike). Tonight, both of them are playing for a
home office, a kids room, an exercise room, a dining room... and a new
car! We'll get to the car later. Right now, though...
ROUND 1: THE HOME OFFICE
The first prize package includes a Broyhill home office package with a
computer. That's the prize; now here's the game. It's a race to 250.
Each correct answer is worth 50. Once you answer a question correctly in
a category, you can bank the points you've earned or risk them. Once you
bank points, they're yours to keep, no matter what, but a wrong answer
will send the points to the other team. The first team to 250 will watch
as their home is transformed literally right before their eyes.
