Episode 5 - July 20
We begin this recap on a different note because the
show starts of differently. This time before they can
continue, Jack must eliminate someone. I'm starting to
feel for him a little. Here is an obviously sensitive
man who just eliminated one original woman just a little
while ago. Now, he must make another horrible decision
which he says is against his nature. OH NO, I KNOW WHAT
THAT MEANS! Jack calls Adrienne and eliminates her. The
one who he said he felt linked with, the woman he shared
his first kiss with is cut. I KNEW the black woman
wouldn't last too much longer, but how can he eliminate
her and not Meri De?? He says that they an only be
friends because there is no passion! As a guy, who has
not used the lets just be friends line!! I cannot
believe he's doing this! Worse, Adrienne agrees with him
that there is no passion... hahaha. I think that's the
first time in the history of dating that 2 people have
agreed on that! Meri De is now hated more by the
remaining women as she has cost them another dear
friend.
They hop in their little prop plane and head to Perth.
All the women are acting like little girls anxious for
their pampering. Jack however is complaining saying that
there's nothing worse than what he about to experience.
Hey man, these girls just spent weeks in the Outback out
of their environment. Spending a few days in a great
hotel, free food, no bugs is not that bad. The girls and
Jack arrive to the Intercontinental Burswood Resort...
man it even sounds rich! Jack does not like that spa
treatment. Gee I wonder how he's going to react to the
eye brow and back waxing ? It's not that bad, I've done
it. Oops did I just type that? Maria later on pays Jack
a visit at his hotel room but we don't get to see what
happens. I assume it wasn't a game of monopoly.
The next day Jack is forced to face the worst thing in
the history of dating. Going shopping with the females!!
The girls go in and out of what has to have felt like
100 stores to Jack. Maybe that's because they went in
about 100 stores, nah I'm exaggerating.
The shopping finally ends and it's now time for some one
on one dates. Maria and Jack do some yoga. She finally
admits that when she visited his room it didn't get as
intimate as she would like. Meri De is next and she
manages a kiss from him. What's so important bout that
you say? Natalie and Courtney still have not shared a
kiss with Jack and Natalie received Jack's necklace.
Meri De and Jack seem to connect instantly because of
Meri's "Sporty Type" attitude.
Natalie's and Courtney's
dates were very boring although both girls finally kiss
Jack. From all men to you Jack, good job this time
around; you're batting 1.000!!!
We then see Marissa, who says she'll be back soon but
she wished Adrienne was still there so she could have
kicked her out herself. SUREEE.
The group meets up at the lobby to meet up with JD. JD
tells them Jack will soon be eliminating someone. This
time the girls have the option of staying at Perth in
the hotel all expenses paid for another 2 weeks. The
catch? They are eliminated from the competition. None of
the girls like the idea so they all decline. It's now
time for Jack to make his decision. He chooses to
eliminate Courtney, who I feel waited too long to open
up to him. All the girls are crying including Meri De.
So they take their flight back to the outback where they
are all at camp and Jack finally looks happy. Then it
happens!!! Marissa walks in looking absolutely stunning.
All the girls look nervous because they know that now if
she's back, she is the favorite. Why, Jack never
eliminated her. Marissa tells us, "It's a whole new
game!" |
