Episode 3 - July 6

Sorry for the delay people. Having family over really kills your free time.

So we left off with Harmonie and Shannon being eliminated, and the girls entering their four-wheel-drive jeeps. Once again, Marissa is trying her best to impress Jack by staying directly behind him driving as aggressive as possible. Actually, maybe she’s just driving like most women do HAHA. She further backs my thinking as she begins hitting trees. Jack soon comes across an injured olive python, a very beautiful snake. He picks it up and puts it across his shoulders and concludes that is injured and needs medical attention. He gets the girls out of their cars and places the snake across all the girls’ shoulders.

Jack and the ladies take the snake to the Outback Animal Recovery Center. There the ladies are met by their favorite friend J D!!!! J D tells the ladies that they are now in control of who gets eliminated, because they will vote out the next women NOT Jack. It is at this time where Marissa looks like she has seen the GRIM REAPER HIMSELF! She knows she has not endeared herself to the rest of the women and she is the next to go. In her own words, “I’m screwed!” The girls are also not allowed to tell Jack that it’s up to them.

The girls decide at the camp that they should huddle up and talk about this decision that is up to them. Adrienne states that she does not like phoniness; that people should be upfront. Everyone knows who she is talking about and Marissa takes offense to Adrienne’s comments. Adri says that she directed towards the group but we all know better. Marissa feels Adri is singling her out because she is the biggest threat to her. I wanted to see a nice catfight but unfortunately the girls decide to call it a night. BOOOOOO!

The next day the women get a little taste of what they thought was going to be their regular treatment. Jack takes the ladies to a natural spring of hot and old water. Plus they are treated to mud that is good for the skin, aloe, and a shave. Good cause it was getting a little nasty with the hair. You know it’s bad when the girls agree that they need a shave. Jack gets a little one on one time with the girls. Marissa is sucking up to him saying that she doesn’t want to share him with the other girls. AWWWW. He says that he feels a lot of energy in her whatever that means.

Jack decides to introduce them to some of his friends, Aborigines. The girls are scared at first because the closest they have gotten to one of them before was watching National Geographic!! Mary likes hearing their singing of course because she is a singer. Jack invites his friends back to their camp. Back at camp, J D announces another little goodie. The tribal members are going to have the girls perform a ritual dance to see which girl has a good spiritual relationship with Jack. The girl who wins will receive one on one time and IMMUNITY and cannot be eliminated! Marissa sees this as her only opportunity to survive.

The dance involves the girls and a stick which Mary seems very experienced with, which Mary agrees with. Marissa jumps in front of all the women trying to get the attention of all the tribal members. But like Maria said, “Mary was working that stick like it was nobodies business!”. The tribe picks Mary as the winner and Marissa knows that that’s game, set and match. After the dinner J D tells Jack that it will be the women who eliminate the next person. Obviously, this is an uncomfortable situation for Jack.

The next day, there are 6 camels awaiting, meaning 1 girl has to go. Each girl except Mary gets to vote. As expected, each of the girls eliminate Marissa. Marissa votes Adrienne but it obviously outnumbered. Jack is very upset because he felt a strong connection to Marissa. They say their goodbyes and the ladies leave. Marissa is left with J D who comforts her because he knows this has been a long trip for her. He also says that this experience has been full of lots of twists and turns, including 1 more. He states how the girls eliminated one member, but he never said that that girl would be going home!!! Marissa is now the “boomerang”. Marissa waves the girls goodbye and says that whatever goes around, comes around. HAHAHHA this is getting really interesting!
