Part 1: Quarterfinals 1
December

Last season, 10 people were chosen to go to Japan to compete on the Sasuke course. The goal: total victory. The only obstacle: their own limits. Unfortunately, not one challenger could even make it to the big tower at the end. But a new tournament begins today as a new breed of challengers are headed to victory at Mount Midoriyama. And this year... Total victory PAYS. The fastest person to complete all four stages of the course will win $250,000 and the right to be called the first AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR.

It's season 2. It's G4. And playtime is OVER.

The American qualifier consists of three heats...

- The Beach: an eliminator course is set up. The fastest 20 times move to...
- The Mountains: a boot camp assault course. The ten fastest move on to...
- Sasuke: The main event.

But first... The Beach Course.

- Quad Steps
- Rope Swing
- Bridge of Blades: new this season, the "Cross Bridge" is a rotating platform of planks that will require a great deal of agility.
- Jumping Spider
- Jumping Bars
- Warped Wall

Only 30 will advance to the next round.
