"I feel a song in my heart again, I found a man who could ___ ___ ___ ________..."
We've waited all summer for this. A whole new season of "Don't Forget The Lyrics!" We have the power, the needs and the tools to "put it all together." So what do you say? Let's get the new season started!
The first contestant of the new season is Tiffany Wilcoxson from LA and she has her own entrance. Why is that? She's a roller derby girl. Let's see if she can power her way to a million with these:

Pop is her first choice and these 2:
  • Any Way You Want It - Journey
  • You Were Meant for Me - Jewel
She gets "You Were Meant for Me" by Jewel and the new season is underway!
Dreams last for so long
even after you're gone
I know you love me
And soon you will see
You were meant for me
And I...WHAT?
Tiffany's answer: Was meant for you. Did she mean it? She locks it in.....YES! Her next choice: 1970's. Try these:
  • Love Is Like Oxygen - Sweet
  • Tie A Yellow Ribbon (Round the Old Oak Tree) - Tony Orlando & Dawn
She gets the one by Dawn. Punch to it!
I'm comin' home, I've done my time,
Now I've got to know what is and isn't mine,
If you received my letter,
Tellin' you I'd soon be free,
Then you'll know just what to do,
If you still want me . . .

If you still want me . . .

Tie a yellow ribbon 'round the ole oak tree,
It's been three long years,
Do you....YOU WHAT?
Tiffany's answer: Still want me. Does she still want in this game? She uses her 2 words back up and obviously, she gets the first 2 right, so she locks it in......CORRECT! We're off again with party songs and we party down with these:
  • Rock Around The Clock - Bill Haley & The Comets
  • It's My Party - Leslie Gore
She gets "It's My Party." Why? because it's her party and she'll rhyme if she wants to. Step to it!
It's my party, and I'll cry if I want to
Cry if I want to, cry if I want to
You would cry too if it....WHAT?
Tiffany's answer: happened to you. Will it happen? She locks it in......YES! Break-up songs are her next choice for the safety cushion and these:
  • Here I Am - Air Supply
  • Oh Girl - The Chi-Lites
She gets Here I Am. And here we go....
Here I am playing with those memories again
And just when I thought time had set me free
Those thoughts of you keep taunting me

Holding you, a feeling I never outgrew
Though each and every part of me has tried
Only you can fill that space inside

So there's no sense pretending
My heart it's not mending

Just when I thought I was over you
Just when I thought I could stand on my own
Oh baby those memories come crashing through
And I just can't go....GO TIFFANY!
Tiffany's answer: On without you. Can we get push ahead with the game without her? She locks it in....She's STAYING! That is correct! How about...Ballads? Here comes 2 more:
  • Against All Odds - Phil Collins
  • One Hundred Ways - James Ingram & Quincy Jones
She gets Against All Odds and she may be going against the odds. Let's go.
How can I just let you walk away
Just let you leave without a trace
When I stand here taking
Every breath with you
You're the only one
Who really knew me at all
How can you just walk away from me
When all I can do is watch you leave
'Cause we've shared the laughter and the pain
And even shared the tears
You're the only one
Who really knew me at all

So take a look at me now...NOW YOU SING, TIFFANY!
Tiffany's answer: Now there's just an empty space. She thinks there's not enough on it. So gets gets the 3 lines and they are:
A - Now there's nothing left to see
B - Now there's just an empty space
C - Now look at my broken heart
Looks like the "Duh!" factor has kicked in for Tiffany and she locks it in with B. B is RIGHT! Going to R&B now and these 2:
  • You Are My Lady - Freddie Jackson
  • There'll Be Sad Songs (to Make You Cry) - Billy Ocean
She Gets You Are My Lady, and Tiffany is the girl I love. Whoops, just watching the show. Anyways....
There's something that I want to say
But words sometimes get in the way
I just want to show
My feelings for you
There's nothing that I'd rather do
Than spend ev'ry moment with you
I guess you should know
I love you so

You are my lady...STOP! Tiffany, what's next?
Tiffany's answer: I don't know the words at.....Hmmm, seems a perfect time to burn the last backup. She calls out Edie with: You're Everything I need and more. Everything or Nothing depends as she locks it in.....CORRECT! We continue as she goes for Rock and these 2:
  • Angel - Aerosmith
  • Call Me - Blondie
She gets Call Me. You make the call as we watch her go for $350,000.
Color me your color, baby
Color me your car
Color me your color, darling
I know who you are
Come up off your color chart
I know where you're coming from
Call me on the line
Call me call me any anytime
Call me my love you can call me any day or night
Call me
Cover me with...WHAT, TIFFANY?
Tiffany's answer: Kisses baby, Cover me with love. Take cover. As she locks it in, did she kiss her $200,000 goodbye? NOPE! She's right! Classic Rock is next and we got 2 more:
  • Take it On the Run - REO Speedwagon
  • Give A Little Bit - Goo Goo Dolls
She gets Take it on the Run. Run Away!
Heard it from a friend who
Heard it from a friend who
Heard it from another you been messin' around
They say you got a boy friend
You're up there every weekend
They're talkin' about you and it's bringin' me down

But I know the neighborhood
And talk is cheap when the story is good
And the tales grow taller on down the line
But I'm telling you, babe
That I don't think it's true, babe
And even if it is keep this in mind

You take it on the run baby
If that's the way you want it baby
Then I don't want you around
I don't believe it, Not for a minute
You're under the gun so you take it on the run

You're thinking up your white lies
You're putting on your bedroom eyes...STOP!
Tiffany's answer: You say you're coming home, but you don't know when. I know when to lock it in...oh, she already has. For $350,000, that is.....RIGHT!  Huey Lewis & The News is teh last one and she must play it. Here are her songs:
  • I Want a New Drug
  • Hip to Be Square
She gets I Want a New Drug. It's time to go over the counter.

I want a new drug - one that won't make me sick,
One that won't make me crash my car, or make me feel three feet thick.
I want a new drug - one that won't hurt my head,
One that won't make my mouth too dry, or make my eyes too red.

One that won't make me nervous, wonderin' what to do.
Tiffany's answer: Makes me feel the way I feel when I'm with. Well, who ya gonna call? You got no backups. I'm guessing she could bailout. And she does at $350,000. The answer is "makes me feel.....When I feel when I'm with you." We feel for you, Tiffany. Season 3 is off & running and the emotions will run high as it progresses. But it's not what you know about it, It's what you sing about it.
