They're not old enough to drink, but they're surely old enough to think. Fifteen of the best and brightest high-schoolers have descended upon the Jeopardy! stage to show the world who's got the best mental game. And in the end, one of them will outlast the others for $75,000 and the title of 2008 Jeopardy! Teen Champion, not to mention the bragging rights that go with the title.

This Winter Classic is another standard two-week affair, advancing the winners of this week's games as well as four wild-cards, high scorers among non-winners. All of this week's players will receive $2500, while the semifinalists will be guaranteed $5000 for their participation.

The first runner-up receives $25,000 at least, while the second runner-up wins at least $15,000. As always, any and all winnings accrued depends on how far up the ladder a player goes.

Daily Double: $800 Cliff Notes. Zia leads with an astounding $6000 against Mollie's $1800 and Nick's $1400. He makes it a true Daily Double. The clue, for $12,000 or nothing: look in a book of maps & you might find this mountain range that extends from Tunisia to Morocco. "What are the Atlas Mountains?" Right for $12,000!

Daily Double #1: $1600 The New 7 Wonders of the World. Zia leads by $5800 against Nick. Mollie is still at $2400. He fronts $6000 on this: 4 corner minarets help define this wonder dedicated to a favorite wife. "What is the Taj Mahal?" Correct for $22,000!

Daily Double #2: $1600 Cliffs Notes. It's been all Zia with $38,400 against Nick's $14,600 and Mollie's $3600. He bets $8400 on this: London physician created new designer drug; has way too much fun; pays dearly. "What is 'Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde'?" Correct for $46,800!

At the end of the Double Jeopardy! Round...

A bit of history... The one-day record for a game of Jeopardy! is held by Ken Jennings with $75,000. Should Zia bet $25,000 (though with Nick's score, it's a bad move), he will tie it.
