(C-NOTE: a lot of
cool stuff happens on this show, but you shouldn't try ANY of it
at home. The players are outfitted with safety in mind, and so
is the set. Seriously... Don't try... Don't die.)
It's a whole new
season... with new things to destroy... new things to build...
and that can only mean ... NEW THINGS TO DESTROY. Tonight, a
food fight for the ages as east coast takes on west coast...

Tonight, the teams will build pizza delivery
trucks with built-in assembly lines where the teams will build their pizzas,
dough, cheese, sauce, box, and all. The truck must also have launchpads, because
you'll be delivering your pizzas paperboy style. The material will be gleaned
from the wreckage of a fruit truck!
First up, we have to destroy them, but how?
- TNT SMOOTHIE
- CRANE DROP
- You know'em. You love'em. You secretly want to be one.... THE DESTROYERS!
Jersey wants a BIG BOOM! Cali wants to dispatch
the crane.
All together now... Three... two... one...
DESTROY!
Now to build the vehicles. Andrew has thrown in
some extra odds and ends, and each team has their own set of Builders to
construct what may be the $3000 ultimate pizza vans. And there's fruit. You
know, if you're hungry. Winners get
the money, losers get a harsh reminder that... no one likes a loser. Good luck to both teams...
Three... two... one... BUILD!
The girls are going to have a
kitchen in the back with a dual sink for cheese and sauce. One
girl will stand at the top of the middle launching tower to
throw their pizzas. Add some pink and glitter... and it's very
valley-girlish. And so is the team, who's just playing with
fruit and tools (DO NOT ATTEMPT!)
The boys will have the same basic
rig design, but they hope to score points on the lightweight
aspect to make the machine easier to push.
Setback Challenge: Feed Me!
Andrew's hungry. Each team will
serve as a wait staff, delivering 30 plates of food to our host
across a zig-zag balance beam six inches wide to start and two
inches wide at the end. If they fall off, they'll have to go
back to the start and try again. Most plates wins the setback.
Did we mention that your opponents will be pelting you with
cupcakes?
It is neck and neck all the way,
but the Valley Girls take it to the sweep for the setback. Their
options...
- Cheese Shred (the guys will have to shred 15
pounds of cheese before continuing)
- Tomato Crush (the guys will have to mash 100 pounds of tomatoes before
continuing)
The girls... say CHEESE!
And... TIME! Let's see what you have.
JERSEY: A light vehicle... BUT not a big kitchen
VALLEY GIRLS: A full kitchen... BUT a very heavy rig.
Now to race. Each team will have to go to a
center station to collect all of their pizza fixings, then head to one of four
outer stations to collect doughballs. Once you have all of that, race to your
house and start making 12-inch pies. Toss them at your windows, breaking them.
First team to break all seven collects a fat tip: $3000 and the chance to lay
waste to your pizza truck.
It's California Pizza Kitchen versus Domino's...
Good luck to both teams... I ordered a pizza 21 minutes ago... DELIVERY IS ON!
Naturally, the size of the rig is causing trouble
for the weaker girls, while the guys are already at the house trying to take it
to the house. The boys are the first to break a window... It's a dead heat to
four, but then the Jersey Boys break loose... and break three more. JERSEY BOYS
WIN, 7-4! FUHGEDDABOUDIT!
Now comes a choice. They can destroy the Valley
Girls' truck with TNT.... or a toaster... rigged to a pack of C4. Basically,
when the toast is done... the truck is TOAST. They decide... for the toaster.
Get the butter ready...
Next week... more big booms. Until then... three... two... one.... DESTROY!
