Week 2: Ooh! There Goes
My Song! (My Jam Monday)
March 23 |
Every once in a while or
more often, they figure out what's their favorite song
and DWTS will be no exception as we present...
"My Jam Monday"
You all know the rules. Let's get into it.
First, Chris & Witney doing a cha-cha to "Time of Our
Lives" by Pitbull w/Ne-Yo. They started on a catwalk and
went to the floor from the entrance area farthest right.
Smoke came out behind the band area and more came near
the end. Other than that, it was energetic. Scoring
check!
Chris & Witney's score: 21
Right now, it's Suzanne & Tony doing a jive to "Whole
Lotta Shakin' Goin' on" by Jerry Lee Lewis. She got
started shaking her groove thing on top of a prop piano
while Tony played "The Killer." She did a "Come here"
gesture and landed safely on the floor. Getting close to
the end, Suzanne went through Tony and He did a point to
the camera guy when it end. Pointing to the scores....
Suzanne & Tony's scores: 28
Moving on, Robert & Kym doing a foxtrot to "You Make me
Feel So Young" by Michael Buble. With Spring already in
full swing, they did a picnic and both did arm work
later on. After this foxtrot, we trot into the scores.
Robert & Kym's Score: 28
Charlotte & Keo will be next dancing a cha-cha to
"California Gurls" by Katy Perry w/Snoop Dogg. It was to
match the look of the music video itself and Charlotte
was carried to the floor by the troupe
via......surfboard. They however, weren't distracted by
dancing lobsters and yet by the end.....beach ball
bombs. Running to your nearest scoreboard....
Charlotte & Keo's score: 26
Here comes Michael & Peta doing a foxtrot to "Working My
Way Back to You" by The Spinners. Michael was in a fake
Motown group and had to depart to join Peta. Peta later
did a floor spin and did a few spins of her own standing
up before the male troupe dancers joined the couple. No
distraction from flashing strobelights by the end. Can
we light up the scoreboard?
Michael & Peta's score: 28
On now is Rumer & Val doing a cha-cha to "Rumor Has It"
by Adele. We get it now. There was smoke all through the
ballroom and they cleared it for dancing. However, they
went to the floor for a better view. Let's see what the
scoreboard has to say about it.
Rumer & Val's score: 32
You got Redfoo & Emma doing a jive to It's Trick,er, "My
Sharona" by The Knack. Redfoo played mechanic and
revealed Emma to get out of it. Later, she went through
Redfoo and there was more. Fixing the scores up:
Redfoo & Emma's score: 31
Check out Willow & Mark doing an argentine tango to Are
You That,er, "Somebody That I Used To Know" by Goyte. It
got covered in body paint at first....for those of you
missing out on "Skin Wars" over a painted heart and
Willow later did a fast foot drag. Willow did an air
move and it was back to the painting with just Willow.
Painting the numbers...
Willow & Mark's Score: 32
Next, Noah & Sharna doing a samba to "Homegrown Honey"
by Darius Rucker. It fit the country bar scene really
well and members of thr troupe joined in as well. Sharna
shook her buns and put the hat on Noah and that was
pretty much it. In scoring position:
Noah & Sharna's score: 27
Now it's Nastia & Derek doing a rumba to "Thinking Out
Loud" by Ed Sheeran. Using only a spotlight to their
advantage, Nastia doing a 3/4 split was about the only
highlight in the routine. Now we split to the scores:
nastia & Derek's Score: 34
Riker & Allison will now foxtrot to "Sugar" by Maroon 5.
It all took place on a bridge in a ficticious city park
and later went down to dance on the floor. Allison did a
few twirls and both did arm work later on. Any hands in
scoring?
Riker & Allison's score: 32
Lastly, Patti & Artem doing a salsa to "In Da Club" by
50 Cent. It was somewhat of a nightclun setting and
Patti tew a few clothes off to do the dance. That took
place on a small area at the other end of the ballroom.
All male dancers surrounded Patti and Artem joined in
while the troupe was behind. Also behind....the
scoreboard.
Patti & Artem's score: 28
The top 3, or 5 I should say are Nastia, Riker, Rumer,
Willow & Redfoo. With Suzanne & Redfoo on the
guillotine, it's off with their
heads.......................Redfoo & Emma.
Next week, Latin night. It'll be hotter than a ghost
pepper. I promise. Good night America.
