Week
5: Pandora Party (Latin Week)
To help spice things up, it's Latin Week on today's
show. All Samba, All Tango, all Latin. Who will be on top tonight? Only one way
to find out. Let's get the party started.
Starting it off is Jaleel & Kym dancing to "Rhythm is gonna get you" by Gloria Estefan. Kym did a go through and after that, it was all the samba you can handle. On to the judges. Carrie Ann said it came out with attack, Len said he had rhythm & abundance and Bruno said it got the party started. Let's get the numbers off to a rockin' start! CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8 Total Score: 24 What a way to start the show! Next is Melissa & maks doing a salsa. Melissa put some fruit in the hat and both did arm work followed by a can opener move. She ended it with a floor spin. Let's spin rigth ahead to the scores... CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7 Total Score: 21 They get 2nd as a result. Next up, Maria & Derek also dancing salsa to "The Cup of Life" by Ricky Martin. Both danced in the fromt row and Maria did a go though move. Both did arm work and Derek went back through. Derek took off his short, but we skip ahead to the scores.... CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 9 Total Score: 27 And they're now in the lead. Here comes Katherine & Mark dancing an Argentine Tango, Katherine went away with the briefcvase, but Mark was told to come back here and started dancing. That brought out the tango in them, What does the scoreboard say? CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 10 Total Score: 29 They quickly take the lead! Here's Gavin & Karina doing a samba to "Sweetheart from Venezuela" by Harry Belafonte. Gavin rowed on a visual sea and Karina woke up from a hammock. Karina later did a shimmy through and a go through near the end. By that time, they went to the hammock. Let's relax from dancing for a score check. CARRIE ANN: 6 LEN: 6 BRUNO: 7 Total Score: 19 Sent to the basement! William & Cheryl go next as they do an argentine tango to "Buttons" by the Pussycat Dolls. They played around a bit with a hankerchief and William threw it away, After this routine comes this.... CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 10 Total Score: 29 They are tied for the lead! Gladys & Tristan are up doing a samba. It saw the samba rolls in action for both and by the end, Gladys bumped him like a bumper car. Let's turn to a scoring corner. CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 8 Total Score: 22 They stay 2 spots out of last place. Roshon & Chelsie buckle up to do a salsa to "Bumpy Ride" by Mohombi. Roshon used his binoculars to spy out CHelsie and there she was. Chelsie quickly threw Roshon's hat away and there was a whole lot of salsa going on. Let's see what the score says: CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 9 Total Score: 26 They go up on 3rd place. Last up, Donald & Peta doing an argentine tango. The one highlight you might find is Peta doing a lift spin. Yes, a lift spin. That wowed the viewers at home. Let's see what scores the judges bring... CARRIE ANN: 10 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 9 Total Score: 27 It's now a tie for 2nd place. Time to get the fire extinguisher and cool it off. The final check of the scores go like this.... 1st goes to Katherine and William with 29, Maria and Donald get 2nd with 27, and Roshon gets 3rd with 26. 24 goes to Jaleel, Gladys with 22, Melissa with 21 and Gavin in way last with 19. Time to turn off the oven and call it a night. Tomorrow, one couple's building get burned down. The results show will tell us who that is. See you guys later.
