Episode 2.1: Battle of the Sexes
January 4

The game that pits one person against 100 of his fellow men is back, bigger and better than ever. Welcome to season 2 of 1 vs. 100!

Yep, we're back with a new set, a new Mob, and a new way of winning the million. For every 10 mobsters a player knocks out, he goes up a money tree...

Up to 10 - $1000
Up to 20 - $5000
Up to 30 - $10,000
Up to 40 - $25,000
Up to 50 - $50,000
Up to 60 - $75,000
Up to 70 - $100,000
Up to 80 - $250,000
Up to 90 - $500,000
Total Mob Knockout - $1,000,000

Other than that, the game remains the same. That means that one wrong answer answer will not only knock you out of the game, it'll give the mob whatever money you've won.

Tonight, we're playing Battle of the Sexes, starting out with a woman vs. 100 men. That woman... from Elmira, NY, KATHERINE CAZORLA.

I've waited since May to type this. Katherine... is ONE... VERSUS 100!

A prime number is in the title of which movie?

A) Scary Movie 4 B) Ocean's 11 C) Police Academy 6: City Under Siege

Katie tries to remember what a prime number is. She uses her ASK. Just a reminder: a person must be truthful about his answer, but can lie about why he chose it. #34 said B. #60 said A. "The lowest prime number being 2.... Come on, blondie." That excludes C. She goes with A... That's absolutely... wrong. It was B. Ocean's 11. 11 can only be factored by itself and 1.

Which means 39 men will split $50,000, about $1282 a piece.

Now it's time for one man to take on 100 women. That man... San Diego's own JASON LUDA. He's a 21-year-old single student. A VERY single student. "I'm a loser, some would say."

Jason, it's ONE VERSUS 100!

It's a tossup between A and B anyway. He decides to use his POLL. He polls the mob on B... and 33 of the 87 went with that. Jason decides to go with #95 and A. That's... right! We know he goes up at least three levels .A knockout of 43 puts him at $50,000.

Will he go for the money... or the mob? He wants the Mob!

According to Hallmark, what is the biggest card-giving holiday of the year?

a) Christmas b) Mother's Day c) Valentine's Day

Jason is leaning toward going against C. A seems like the go-to. Jason goes with the gut reaction... A. Just for shiggles, let's find out how many mobsters he stands to knock out.

The answer: all of them. All of the women got that wrong. If it's A, then Jason will win ONE... MILLION... DOLLARS.

Correct answer....

A!

JASON LUDA HAS KNOCKED OUT THE MOB FOR $1 MILLION! First million dollar winner ever! And the mob is not worthy. Will this give Jason the confidence to go out and meet someone? Only time will tell for sure.

The question remains... Can someone do it again? Find out next week on 1 vs. 100!
