With more money than any female and more games than anyone save Ken Jennings and David Madden, Julia now ranks among the greatest to play the game. Will she make a quarter-million tonight?

12 DAY CHAMPION
Julia Collins

Kenilworth, IL
supply chain professional
$245,610
Sirena Terr
Livingston, NJ
business lawyer & consultant
Lara Brenckle Malmont
Carlisle, PA
strategic communications lead

Julia starts her 13th game with $200 Famous Women, where she finds the Daily Double under $600. She bets only her $400 on this: in 1896 this educator became the first woman in Italy to get a medical degree. "Who is Maria Montessori?" That would've doubled it, but Cabrini drops her to zero. She rebounds to $5000 to $4400 for Sirena. Lara has $3600 and freedom of the board to start Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 Phil-ibuster. Julia finds the first Daily Double under $1200 The Secretary of War. She fronts $2000 on this: a son of this President worked for Garfield & later became a wealthy corporate lawyer. "Who is Lincoln?" RIGHT for $14,200! Sirena finds the other under $1600 To the Exoplanets! She bets $200 on this: in 1992 the exoplanets were found orbiting one of these rotating starts that emit regular bursts of radiation. "What's a quasar?" No, it's a pulsar to drop to $5000. She is left with $3000 to Lara's $6800, but with $17,800, it is Julia's game to lose.

FINAL JEOPARDY! in "Organizations": the full name of this scholarly group, founded after a lecture in 1660 includes "of London for Improving Natural Knowledge". Correct response: what is the Royal Society?

Another triple stumper, but again, Julia's left with enough for lucky 13, $15,800! Her take now? $261,410 and rising.

After all of dorkdom descended upon the first glimpse of video from the set of "Star Wars: Episode VII"... in which you could be an extra, so sayeth JJ Abrams... We play "Wheel of Bats**t!" to see what Pat Sajak tweeted today. Today's #HashtagWars, in celebration of the official christening of the "Man of Steel" sequel - "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice"... #BetterBatmanSuperman. Matt leads with 600 to Whitney's 500 and Moshe's 400.

Let's play American Apparel (the inner monologues of creepy dead-eyed models) and World Star Hip Huh? (thing or not a thing). Whitney and Moshe are tied going into the Live Challenge, The Juice Is Loose! Grapefruiting on YouTube involves blindfolding your man and juicing him with a grapefruit. Obviously they couldn't show it, but the reactions were priceless. This one is worth 1000 to Matt for "Normally I'd be really freaked out by this, but I happen to be a British naval officer in the 1700s and you just cured my scurvy."

Stitch Opening Lines rounds us out. Moshe and Whitney battle to a stalemate before she breaks him.

FTW: from FX's "Fargo", Allison Tolman has this number: Minnesota is closer to making medical marijuana legal. All you need to do is review the first legal dispensary for leafly.com. The winner... The weed is so good I forgot I had fake cancer! First game first win for WHITNEY!

Remember, today's funny becomes tomorrow's source material. Follow the game online @midnight.

The Tatums had to get either #3 or #4 on a steal if they wanted to win the game, but responsibilities were not one of the other two answers, giving the Bishops the win.

Laura & Josh will take the chance to play Fast Money. Laura started strong, had two light answers before recovering on the last answer to get 95 points. Josh started off slow which proved costly before recovering briefly and having another light answer at the end, to give them a total of $840.

Fast Money #1 answers
- 1-10, how jealous would you be if your friend won the lottery?: 1 (Not jealous at all!)
- An animal that has fangs: Wolf (Laura)
- Something you do to a fish: Catch it (Josh)
- Something that's big and round: Ball (Josh)
- What was your best subject in high school?: Math (Laura)

In the nightcap, returning champions the Stewart family still haven't found the right answers to win the big money yet, but they hope to have another shot when they play against the Edenfield family. The Edenfields had control on the last survey, and was lucky too as they named all the cartoon characters known for their strip, which were Popeye, Superman, Mighty Mouse and Hulk to win the game.

Siblings Karen & Greg will play the Fast Money round. Karen did well with her answers in fact, she did a very good job to score 173. Her brother Greg showed no pressure to get it done in only three, to win the $20,000. We now have to wait 'til next season for them to play their next game.

The following episode was preempted for a Presidential presser, much to the chagrin of tweeters who couldn't be bothered with looking at CBS.com for the uploaded footage. For the rest of you good people, here's all that went down at 33 on this warm pre-summer Wednesday...

We kick it off with Nicholas Gribbin, Melisha Wise, John Christianson, Karen Moore, and a surfboard. The $675 board goes to Karen, who gets to try it out in Portugal if she hits the Bullseye. First up, Kraft marshmallows. She goes with five. Each one is $2.19. Five... is enough, $10.95!

Katherine Stout goes one-and-out with a $580 HDTV. She'd love to add on a washer/dryer, a men's mountain bike, and an all-in-one PC in Eazy as 1-2-3. First, the bike... $5.19. The computer... $1630. The washer/dryer... $2998! Two games, two wins!

Melisha hopes to make it three with a $1559 trampoline. She'd jump at a shot at a Fiat 500 Pop in Lucky Seven. She's up to $18,38_ with $2 left over. She goes with 2... Right train, wrong track. It was $18,389.

Karen spins her way into the Showcase. Meanwhile, Nicholas win s a $2470 bracelet. He hopes to turn some bling bling into ching ching. It's PLINKO TIME! With chips from Drew, a $20 spice grinder, a $60 ice cream maker, and a $50 toaster oven, he wins... $10,500!

Rochelle Collins wins the PLOW, this week valued at $1763. Next up, a Sea-Doo in Flip Flop. The price is not $5748. She flips... but she needed to flop as well. It was $7584.

John has one and only one last chance to win a kitchen island with chairs. The price: $1499. The winner... John! He gets a shot at a $678 satellite radio, a $25 watermelon knife, and a $524 camera... oh yeah, and a Mazda 2 Sport in Line'em Up! The price: $1_,__9. He goes with $17,549... and only one is right. Is it $16,529? No... It's $17,229.

Rochelle beats Nicholas 35-15, in the Showcase Showdown spinoff. First up, an ATV, a bedroom with sleep set, and a trip to Zanzibar. Top winner Karen passes, and Rochelle bids $19,210. Karen gets a trip to Antigua and a Honda Insight. She bids $22,800. Actual price: $27,256, a difference of $4456. Rochelle's Showcase totals... $20,976 for a game-winning difference of $1766 and a game-taking tally of $22,739! Way to go, Rochelle!

  Rebecca Taylor (New York, NY)
Until this show, the only thing she had ever won was an iPad.

She jumps the 2nd and 4th questions, which had $500 and $7,000. She has $17,000 going into this...

[Q5 - Flights of Fancy]
Flamingo Air helps passengers join the "Mile High Club" with a flight package that includes all but which of these amenities?
A: Curtained cabin
B: Champagne
C: Discreet pilot
D: Fireplace

Rebecca decides to go with C... but it's D! As a result, she goes home with $1,000.

Alex Lefteratos (Queens, NY) - College student
He's tired of his bank account not having much money.

After sweeping the first half of Round 1 and building up a bank of $37,500, he jumps the 6th question, which had $100. Then comes this...

[Q7 - Up for Debate]
Adding to the debate over the literary character's race, what novel's most recent film adaptation stars a black actor as Heathcliff?
A: Anna Karenina
B: The Hobbit
C: Les Miserables
D: Wuthering Heights

He remembers seeing C in theaters, but he fell asleep during it. He eliminates that and B, and he hasn't heard of D. He locks in A... but it's D! That means he leaves with $1,000.

With time running out for today, Angela from Jersey is chosen from the audience to play the next question in Alex's stack for $1,000...

[Q8 - I'll Call Her Nicki]
She's called Roman Zolanski, Harajuku Barbie and Female Weezy by her fans, but what does Nicki Minaj's mother call her?
A: Onika Tanya
B: Anaya Taisia
C: Evangeline Tamera
D: Ayanna Tasha

After some consideration, Angela goes with B... but it's A!
