Last season, heroes were
born, legends were made, but still no one could complete
the entire course and claim the $500,000 prize that
awaited atop Mount Midoriyama in Las Vegas. But that
only serves as fuel for the best athletes in the world
to come to America to try again. Will anyone seize this
day - this moment - and change the course of their lives
by conquering another course? It's all about to go down
once again as we begin the search for... THE AMERICAN
NINJA WARRIOR!
But with this course
comes a twist. Since no one won the money last year, the
prize will roll over to this year. That's right. Whoever
completes the course in Las Vegas in the fastest time
will win... ONE. MILLION. DOLLARS. And there's a new
side-lady, Kristine Leahy from the CBS O&O in LA.
Tonight, we start the search for the
American Ninja Warrior anew in...
VENICE, CA
Venice Beach Boardwalk
Of the six obstacles,
three are making their ANW Debut
- Quintuple Steps
- Mini Silk Slider - grip the silk slider and slide 14
feet to...
- Tilting Table
- Spin Cycle - three angled spinning metal hoops.
- Hourglass Drop - Two hanging planks with changing
widths, separated only by a trampoline.
- Warped Wall - 14 feet, three chances
And once again, it's
win-and-in. Finish the qualifier, and you are guaranteed
a spot in the City Final stage.
