Angela: Rock Worship Center
June 5
It takes power. It takes courage. It takes a church. It takes a church?

Yep, you guessed it, the dating program GSN created is finally here. Each week, singer Natalie Grant goes to churches in the USA to find their soulmate. How it works is this. One suitor tries to find true love with the help of the congregation. Once it's official, the cameras will capture their every moment on a date. As for the losers....I will explain later, but for now....it's go time.

Our first stop was Charlotte, NC. A town home to such wrestling history and basketball history as well. Natalie and the crew decided to pick the one that was the setting for today's show. Rock Worship Center. An African American church community, the merry makers step in and it's game time. Natalie decided to pick a suitor, and it happens to be.......Angela Morgan from Charlotte. The 30-year old steps in the arena and it's time to rock. Playing matchmaker will be his fellow member Lamont and he is here to help them find a date for her.

Each episode, a different church will help one of their parishioners find true love amongst the ranks, hence the title, "It Takes a Church".

Within the congregation are "matchmakers" who will introduce Angela to a suitor of their choosing.

- Nick (31, motivational speaker)
- Lenroy (27; foreign exchange analyst)
- McKinley (27, recording artist)
- Senyo (28; IT professional)
- Dr. Bradford (32; dentist)
- Brian (30; law student)
- Cameo (30; sports facility manager)
- Travis (34; insurance specialist)

But the entire congregation will choose which three will Angela get to know better.

- Nick Connor, Brian Keaton, Travis Jones

But there's one more bachelor, the Pastor's/First Lady's Pick: Dr. Bradford Picot.

Angela will go on dates with each of these men, and whosever she picks, GSN will donate $10,000 in their name to the church service community fund.

Day 1: CLOTHING DRIVE. Angela will spend time with all four bachelors. At the end of the night, the matchmakers and the pastor will get together and eliminate one.
(Eliminated: Brian).

DAY 2: COUPLES COUNSELING? Each bachelor will have to lead Angela through a blind obstacle course filled with water cups, water balloons, and eggs that are not boiled all the way.

Pastor also spends time with each of the bachelors to delve into their past dating lives.

Angela gets to make the decision on who she goes on a one-on-one date with. She chooses... Dr. Bradford. Who is shorter than she is. And has kids. Her second choice... Nick. Celibate. Player?
(Eliminated: Travis)

(Break time: mom wants to know if there's someone in Angela's "picture").

DAY 3: Individual Dates.

Nick takes Angela to Strike City. Angela assumes Nick to be a player after he blesses the alley grub.

Dr. Bradford gets to operate with the help of a hansom cab driver, followed by dinner.

THE BIG DECISION...

... with the surprise appearance from the oft-cited mom.

Angela's ultimate choice... NICK. Lucinda's name will be attached to a $10,000 donation to the church.

The cuts came in one by one until the final elimination was made. To do that, she had to navigate a maze to find a match. Easy, right? Well....wrong. Now she needs a blindfold to direct the date. Cheesy, don't you think? After all this navigation, she picked.........Nick. As for the rest of these so-called losers, it'll be a year's membership to christianmingle.com as a consolation prize. Congats again to Angela, the southern belle and Nick, who took a vow of celibacy....and I use that word loosely for figuring out why.....IT TAKES A CHURCH!
