The Battle of the Block
June 29
So far, 16 Americans have been roasted on a spit and carried away by kites, landing Frankie and Caleb in the Head of Household position. Both of them will nominate for eviction, but in a surprise new twist of the summer, only one nomination will stand, and by the end of this hour, there will only be one Head of Household.

DAYS 1-3

We begin by seeing the HOH room that, at least for the time being, Frankie and Caleb are going to share. Of course, both rooms are suited to the HOH's individual tastes, so while Frankie gets a Madonna mix, Caleb gets Rascal Flatts. Both of them are going to have plenty of time to get to be each other's friends.

Nicole and Christine share a giant love of giant nerd glasses. They see themselves as giant friends inside and out of the house.

Frankie and Caleb enter into an agreement to work together at least for this week. Caleb says that they mesh so well together that no one will be able to see them coming. But they are only two people, and this game is about numbers. Time to look for some soldiers. They recruit Devin and Derrick. The last thing they all want is to get on the block with a floater. So what about an all-guy alliance? We can talk to Zach about this and Cody as well. Derrick says that it's too early for an alliance. Devin says that Hayden is too green.

And it's official, because Caleb has the name: the Bomb Squad. They're fixing to blow up some women who are not that darn smart.

Jocasta and Paola wonder if there are some alliances in the house. Jocasta's only alliance... with the man upstairs. And no, not Frankie or Caleb.

Cody says that it's early in the game to be thinking of an alliance. He needs to wash out for himself.

Nicole and Christine think that they can work well together, mostly because of glasses.

NOMINATIONS TODAY! This game just got real.

Devin tells Donny that he's strong with him, but Donny has no idea that Devin has abandoned him for the Bomb Squad. Devin doesn't feel great about it, but at the end of the day, he's here for his daughter.

Caleb is thinking about who can make a good nominees, who you can see behind a fake smile. The best move, in Caleb's mind, would be putting a guy and a girl each. That would put the least amount of blood on their hands.

#Nominations #1

This year, instead of the giant nomination wheel, we have two blocks, each with two keys.

CALEB: Donny & Paola
FRANKIE: Victoria & Brittany

In both cases, both HOHs put up the first two people who fell in the HOH competitions.

So what are the nominees thinking? Paola says that Donny needs to be strong for both of them. Caleb is crying over his nominations. It feels like you're kicking someone out for no reason other than being a good person. As for Victoria, she's good, but Frankie says that there's no way she's going home. Victoria didn't see it coming from Frankie, though. Remember, Frankie and Victoria entered into an agreement on the first night, trying to pin her nomination on Caleb.

And Victoria is not going to trust Frankie again.

4:30am, and Devin has to pull the trigger on a power move... telling Christine and Amber about the Bomb Squad. Devin THEN tells Caleb about bringing two girls - Christine & Amber - into the fold. Caleb is half asleep when all of this goes down.

The next morning, Devin breaks the news to Derrick and Frankie. And Cody, who says that this is going to blow up in everyone's face. Derrick says that he's acting like a loose cannon.

Stretching... Yoga... Devin misconstrues this for a power meeting of sorts. No, he's just stretching. Frankie is beginning to second-guess his decision to work with Devin, who believes that Donny is stronger and smarter than he lets on. "Having Devin in your alliance is no bueno." Thanks, Zach.

#BattleOfTheBlock #1: The Pouring 20s

Frankie's nominees will battle Caleb's for a shot at safety and to dethrone the nominating HOH.

On go, start swinging from your chandelier and get some champagne from your fountain. Pass it to your teammate, who'll then fill their giant champagne flute. First team to fill their flute so that one berry falls out will win the Battle of the Block and nullify their nominations.

WINNERS: Victoria & Brittany. Which means that Caleb is this week's Head of Household, and Donny & Paola are nominated for eviction. But the Power of Veto can change all that next time.
