Week Five - October 2-3

(C-Note: After four weeks of... well, dead air, we finally have a correspondent for this syndicated poker series. As always, what follows are televised-hand-by-televised-hand accounts.  Obviously, since it's only an hour show, most hands are not televised so you're going to see a lot of jumping of the dealer button. For more information on this and other poker precepts, visit Chris Wolvie's Poker Primer. In the meantime, here's Robert!)

Game#5 of the Preliminary segment of the tournament. Not only are some young new players in here, but some poker legends join in on the fun.

Players: Ken James/Thor Hansen/Robert Tolliver/Mel Judah/2000 WSOP winner Chris "Jesus" Ferguson/Chris Hinchcliffe/Dan Alspach (Chip leader)

Take Note that the show doesn't give the chip count after commercial break.

Here is the end results of each hand. Next Saturday will take more detailed recaps.

Hand 1: Chris Hinchcliffe moves all in, Dan calls and knocks out Chris with with a Club Flush.
