(legal secretary from Kailua, HI); $8000 |
|
Eric Allen (video
game merchandiser from Birmingham, AL) |
|
Rebecca Pinchoff
(pediatrician from Forest Hills, NY) |
Will we hear another
woman scream from the audience today?
Susan starts with $200
I'm Sorry. At the TV time out, Susan gets out of the red
and into zero, tied with Rebecca. Eric is the only one
in money with $2600.
Rebecca finds the Daily
Double under $800 Remembering the '90s. She bets $2000
on this: in 1991 he made his first official public
appearance, with his pared, on St. David's Day at
Llandaff Cathedral. "Who is Prince Harry?" Wrong one,
it's Prince William, leaving her with $600. She gets up
to $1600 for second place to Eric's $4000, while Susan,
with $1000, starts Double Jeopardy!...
... with $400 Meaty
Words, where Susan finds the first Daily Double under
$1600. She bets $1000 on the extreme left or right side
of an army. "What's a flank?" Right for $3200. Eric
finds the second Daily Double under $800 "F"riends of
Science. He bets $2000 on this: born in Danzig in 1686,
he improved on a Galileo invention by using mercury
instead of gas. "Who is Fahrenheit?" Right for
$14,400. He drops to $12,000 to Rebecca's $7600. Susan
is still alive with $3600.
Final Jeopardy! in "US History":
he was the commanding Union general at Bentonville, site
of the last major Confederate offensive. Correct
question: Who was Sherman?
Eric is right, giving him
the championship with $15,201. Susan leaves with $9000. |

Ortiz (Carmen, Heidy, William, Nilet, Leo) |
Another Double Round
decider. The question: a human organ that you donate.
Dennis gets #3, liver, while Nilet gets #1, kidney. Leo
completes the sweep to win with heart for the 335-53.
Carmen & Heidy take on the Dinero
Rápido board... Heidy gets 73. Carmen gets... the rest for $5000!
Now let's bring on the champs...
|
Ortiz (Carmen,
Heidy, William, Nilet, Leo); $5000 |
|
Feliz (Bianka, Bienvenida, Yenipher, Carlos,
Lucia); $1500, two days |
After three, it's 143-95
in favor of the Feliz. Double Round: something kids do
with chewing gum. Carlos fires with bombs, #1... Marco
Antonio: "¡Niños terroristas!" Kids also eat it and
stick it to something for the win, 317-95.
But can they convert into the Dinero Rápido?
Bianka and Carlos are going to give it a go again. But first, the
basket cometh... and giveth... "buena suerte." Good lucks' better
than no luck. Bianka gets 89. Carlos... can't get the other 111
for another $500, giving them $2000 for three days. |
