Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
David Nikithser (project manager from Hightstown, NJ); $44,799, two days
Susan Matejko (legal secretary from Kailua, HI)
Tom Waskom (lawyer from Richmond, VA)

Will we hear another woman scream from the audience today?

David starts with $200 You Tolkien to Me?. It's a close game at the TV time out with David at $2200, Susan at $1200, and Tom at $800.

Susan finds the Daily Double under $600 I Coulda Been a Bartender. She bets $800 on this: an ounce each of vodka, gin, light rum & tequila highlight this NY-themed drink. "What's a Manhattan?" Nope, as Long Island Iced Tea drops her to $400. She returns to $1200 at the half, but with David at $7600 and Tom at $3200, it's only enough for her to start Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 I'll See You in Court. Tom finds the first Daily Double under $1600 Ancient Greece. He bets $2000 on this: the modern men's discus weight 4.4 pounds; the ones found at this site in Greece's Elis Valley weighed up to 9 pounds. "What is Olympus?" Woops, it was Olympia, leaving him with $2800. David finds the second Daily Double under $1200 10-Lett Words. He bets $2800 on this: to talk to the Fish-Footman or the Mock Turtle, this is where you have to go. "What is Jabberwock?" Nope, it was Wonderland, leaving him with $8400, still leading. He wouldn't lead for long as Susan jumps to $10,000 to his $7600. Tom has $4800.

Final Jeopardy! in "Pro Football Geography": of all the US states with 2 current NFL teams, it's the only state the Mississippi River touches. Correct question: What is Missouri?

No one is right here, but Susan bets enough to leave her as champ with $8000. David leaves with $46,799.

¿Qué Dice La Gente? by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  7p ET/6p CT on Telefutura
Host: Marco Antonio Regil
Acosta (Susana, Natalie, Maia, Carmen, Anita)
Caballero (Adriana, Hyman, Dessy, Jairo, Jose)

After the three singletons, it's pretty much one-sided, as the Caballeros have 154 to the Acostas'... zero. It gets even more one-sided as we go to a double round: a popular name to call a friend who doesn't want to spend money. "Codo" is #1 for Carmen. Miser is #2 for Anita. Stingy is #3 for... the Caballeros, who win it, 348-0.

Jose & Dessy go to Dinero Rápido... Dessy gets 119. Jose gets... the rest! That's $5000. The four of the number ones, so that's all they'll take into part two...

Caballero (Adriana, Hyman, Dessy, Jairo, Jose); $5000
Feliz (Bianka, Bienvenida, Yenipher, Carlos, Lucia); $1000

The Feliz are beginning the comeback trail once again, taking the Double Round and the 146 to go with it. Caballeros have 207. The Triple Round will decide it...

Triple Round: something that babies do that causes tenderness in most people (4). They laugh as Jose fires with #1. They also make faces, cry, and... try to speak? The champs hope so... There it is for the win, 425-207.

Bianka & Carlos go to the Dinero Rápido board, but first, it's canasta time. Bianka draws... "puntos extra"! We'll find out how many in a bit, but right now, let's concentrate on the task at hand. Bianka only gets four of the five question, giving her 144... She may not even need those extra points. Or she might, because Carlos only got to 169. The extra points? Thirty?! They were one short! Ay!... Well, that's another $500, giving them $1500 for two days.
