Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Clark Floyd (accountant from Savannah, GA); $28,200
Amanda Ross-White (librarian from Kingston, ON)
Tony Mahler (health care consultant from Bronx, NY)

The last three days have seen big paydays. Will Clark continue in the revelry?

Josh starts with $200 Colorful Idioms, finding the Daily Double under $600 Plead the Fifth. He bets the max of $1000 on this: they're the 3 letters above the number 5 on a standard telephone button. "What is JKL?" Right for $1400!

It becomes a horse race between Clark's $6200 and Tony's $5800. Meanwhile, Amanda, with $2000, starts Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 Movie Title Names. Clark finds the first Daily Double, under $1200 Where Am I? He bets $3000. Here's Sarah: "It's a dog day afternoon in Athens, Greece, located on this peninsula." "What is the Peloponnesian Peninsula?" Not even close. It's the Attica Peninsula, leaving him with $5200. Clark can make up for it on the second Daily Double under $800 Painters. He bets $2000 on this: his "Arrangement in Grey and Black No. 2: Portrait of Thomas Carlyle" hangs in Glasgow. "Who is James Whistler?" Right for $11,200! He ends with that, while Tony, who gets the last clue, avoids being shut out with $7000, while Amanda has $4400

Final Jeopardy! in "Authors": author seen here with his son. Correct question: Who is AA Milne?

The boy is Christopher Robin Milne, and the teddy bear is Winnie-the-Pooh. Amanda is the only one who gets it right, but Clark holds back to remain champ with $36,400 for two days.

It's the first day of summer, and Connie Evans, Ronald Byrd, Angela Fox, and Diane Milby are about to heat things up, so we better get a pool out here. The pool is worth $2974, and it goes to Connie. We had cool, now how about hot? How about Cabo? How about Check Game? She writes it out for $2530. The trip... $4356. Total.. $6886. VOID.

Diane wins a $1408 cotton candy cart as well as a chance at a Ford Fusion in Pocket Change. She has 25c. It starts out at 25c... thanks to three mistakes, though, it's bumped to a dollar. The numbers in the car, possibly: 0 1 2 6 7 8. The price: $21,870. In Diane's pockets... nothing... a dime.. another dime... and a quarter. She's 30 cents short.

Ronald wins an $1170 chaise. Now time for a set at Barker's Bargain Bar: a drum set and a bar set. The drum set is marked at $2266; the bar set, $1499. He goes for the bar set. The drums are $2966, for a difference of $700. The bar is $2499 for a game-winner!

Diane and Connie spinoff after a 70 score. Diane scores 35. Connie... only 30.

Diane Keller wins a $1200 pair of bikes, as she goes for a Chrysler Pacifica in Bullseye. The products: Tidy Cats kitty litter, a PS surface cleaner, Jif extra crunchy, Fiji water, and Chips Ahoy cookies. She goes with the peanut butter first, eight of them... at $2.99, and she shoots clear off to the Big Brother House. Next, the cookies, nine of them for 55c each. She hits the target with $4.35. Finally, the water, four of them for $1.59. $6.36 is another good shot. So we have two shots, one which could contain the hidden Bullseye. Is it under the cookies? YES!

Kristi Tucker is down and up with a $2800 globe. Now it's onto Switcheroo for a cereal dispenser, a vegetable steamer, a pitcher, a jewelry box, and a Dodge Ram 1500! The board...

car: $24,4_5
cereal dispenser: $_0
steamer: $_0
pitcher: $_2
jewel box: $_0

She goes 7, 5, 9, 2, 4... One right. Time to switch to 9, 4, 7, 2, 5....All five are right!

Last chance for Angela with a Palm Pilot (not a PSP, John). Price: $517. Winner... Angela! She gets a chance for luggage, a chaise, and a home gym. Which one is the Most Expensive? She goes with the gym. The luggage is $1500. The chaise is.. $1225. The home gym is... $2299!

Three big winners that half, but the top winner in the Showcase is Angela. Her Showcase: fruit bouquets, a new dining room with dinnerware, and a Chrysler Sebring Convertible. She bids $22,926. Diane gets a how-to on being a great boss involving crystal stemware, a new kitchen with range, fridge & dishwasher, and a trip to Tahiti. She bids $13,500. Actual price... $13,... 284. So close, but so not. Actual price of Angela's Showcase... $35,282! She wins $40,823 in swag!

Barroso (Karol, Ernesto, Marisol, Nelson, Leonor); $500
Rapkin (Adriana, Lourdes, Mariela, Berta, Francisco)

Can the Barrosos win the Dinero Rápido? They'll have to take on a lucky rabbit first.

Triple Round: a popular Christmas decoration (4). Leonor fires with the tree, #1! Lights, ornaments, and... a Nativity? No! The Barrosos win, 480-108. Other answer: Santa Claus.

Ernesto (who looks like Andy Garcia) and Leonor manage 197 in Dinero Rápido... close, but it's only worth $500 more for $1000.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Yesterday, Abby Liguori (Middletown, NJ) made it to $16,000, but she doesn't have any lifelines available. Let's see what happens...

Abby still has her cheering section (a.k.a. her family) in the audience. And as for her strategy when coming into the hot seat... She had none. None whatsoever. Yeah. Anyway, the game continues...

[$25,000]
"Hectopascals" and "millibars" are the units commonly used to measure what weather-related property?
A: Air pressure
B: Wind chill
C: Dew point
D: Relative humidity

Abby is considering either A or D, then says A... and she has $25,000! On to the upper tier...

[$50,000]
The "O" in Irish names such as "O'Neill" and "O'Casey" comes from "ua," an Irish word meaning what?
A: County
B: Grandson
C: Birthplace
D: Ancestor

Abby takes her time in considering the choices. She thinks it's not B, but she's not sure which of the others it could be. Eventually, she switches the question. Turns out it was B after all. With that, she now sees this...

[$50,000] (Q)
What singer's clothing line has been pulled from Denmark because its logo resembles the royal family's monogram?
A: Missy Elliott
B: Jessica Simpson
C: Jennifer Lopez
D: Gwen Stefani

It's a free guess, so Abby just says D... but it's A! Well, she does have $25,000 to take home!

Now in the hot seat is Allyson Luck (Philadelphia, PA). Yes, Luck is her last name. Hopefully, she'll have enough luck here. Now, it turns out that she was getting married about a month after this taping. Hey, at least we know she had luck there! Anyway, Allyson starts by knowing that in "The Three Little Pigs," each pig says, "Not by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin." She gets through the lower tier, then has this to ponder...

[$2,000]
Which of these games is traditionally played with tiles that have Chinese characters on them?
A: Backgammon
B: Parcheesi
C: Cribbage
D: Mah-jongg

Allyson didn't want to use a lifeline here, but she isn't completely sure about this, so she asks the audience. Both polls overwhelmingly favor D (95% of the studio audience; 86% of the AIM users). Allyson trusts them... and they're right! A couple of questions later, and she gets to this...

[$16,000]
Which of these words was originally defined as "the final shot in an archery contest"?
A: Potshot
B: Longshot
C: Upshot
D: Snapshot

The 50:50 leaves B and C. Good thing she used that; she was originally thinking A. She then considers who to call, before settling on calling Brendan. Brendan is 80% sure that it's C. Allyson goes with that... and it's C! Moving on...

[$25,000]
Which of these Balkan nations was not once part of the former nation of Yugoslavia?
A: Croatia
B: Bulgaria
C: Macedonia
D: Slovenia

For some reason, C is leaping out at her, but she's just not sure enough. So, she walks with $16,000. Luckily for her, it was actually B.

Next up is Marthalie McClean (Brooklyn, NY). Not much time left, so Marthalie starts right away by knowing that in Westerns, the 3-word phrase usually on "Wanted" posters for vicious outlaws is "Dead or Alive" (if it were "For Discreet Encounters", that would be creepy). She then gets to $300.

That's all the time there is for today. Marthalie will keep going tomorrow.
